Essentia Assisi | B&B and Retreat

A simply wonderful stay that deserves a full five stars! This B&B is a new property, fitted out from a charming farmhouse immersed in the peaceful countryside of Assisi. The rooms are beautiful, welcoming, tidy and impeccably clean. The room is very well equipped: the bathroom lacks nothing, from the hairdryer to single-dose products like shampoo and soap, perfect if you forget something at home, as well as a lovely shower. Sleeping here is a real pleasure: total silence at night and a gentle awakening with birdsong. Riccardo is an exceptional host: kind, genuine, extremely down-to-earth and attentive to every little detail. On our arrival he left us a fantastic welcome with savory snacks, Coca-Cola, orange soda, tonic water and even delightful packets of chocolate chip cookies, which my 6-year-old son loved! He also provides a glass bottle that you can refill for free with still or sparkling water whenever you wish. Breakfast is a really special moment. The dining room is cared for down to the smallest detail with an elegant runner on the table, beautifully set with plates, glasses and cutlery, and decorated in the center with lavender flowers and a little rose. In addition to preparing coffee, cappuccinos, tea or hot milk on the spot, Riccardo offers an incredible selection: croissants, cookies, bread, jams, Nutella, honey and above all delicious bundt cakes, tarts and even homemade yogurt! There is also an excellent savory selection, ranging from puff pastry pies with vegetables to cold cuts such as ham, cheeses and boiled eggs. Riccardo was also very helpful in giving us great tips and advice on what to visit and the best places to eat. It is really worth it; this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return sooner or later. Greetings from Alex and Silvia!
