Amazing place! Only one piece of advice: inform guests earlier about events that take place near the property,because the noise can be problematic. During our stay there were three concerts each night from 22:00 until midnight right next to the property. We liked them,but not everybody would be happy.

We had a lovely stay, it was a great base for exploring Portoferraio and the rest of Elba. The room was great and had an amazing view.

Everything was super nice. The only thing we missed was a coffee machine in the room but I have found a pasticceria down the road. Communication with Anna was perfect.

The stay at the B&B Porto Sole was great, the rooms are clean and very stylish, the view to the harbour is amazing! Anna is a super nice host and communication with her is very uncomplicated.

The room and bathroom were very nicely decorated and luxurious. And the walk-in closet was very handy. The view over the marina and part of the city was superb. Breakfast was also perfect. We did not see the host herself, contact was mostly by telephone. The initial contact by telephone when we arrived was not so friendly (my booking could not be found at first and we were accused that we did not tell the time when we would arrive, which we did several times and also on the day of arrival). There was a slow response or no response at all on our messages through the app.

A beautiful place to stay and the views are stunning. Rooms were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts were lovely and breakfast was delicious. 10/10. We will definitely be returning.

Spectacular location overlooking the harbour of Portoferraio Elba. Large, bright, airy room with balcony. Tastefully restored. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Host was charming and efficient. Rooms were professionally cleaned daily by smiling Margherita. A happy stay. We will return.

The B&B Porto Sole is fully restored and beautifully renovated with modern rooms and fantastic bathrooms. It is beautifully located in the old town of Porto Ferraio just meters away from the harbour. The rooms on the lower levels have balconies towards the harbour with a great view. All of the rooms have a sea view, nevertheless. It is located in the old part of the city, a grocery store is just across the street and it's not far from any restaurant. The innkeepers David and Anna are really friendly and nice. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay at and I can warmly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Porto Ferraio.

Attention! It is necessary to be able to climb stairs, two or three floors!

Elegant structure with spectacular view.

Highly recommend in every aspect.

I stayed at B&b Porto Sole for a week with my mom. We were welcomed by the owner Anna, who showed us the room and gave us some information about the island. Ours was a room with a balcony overlooking the Portoferraio harbor, and I must admit that the view was very beautiful and striking! The room and the structure were very nice and decorated with design elements, which give it both an air of refinement and simplicity. In the room, I would recommend adding a full-length mirror because there is only one in the bathroom and also a ventilation valve, as it has no window. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. As for breakfast, it is held on the top floor of the structure and is taken care of by Mrs. Cristina, who is always available and kind; it would be appreciated to find the same care given to the details and decor also for the breakfast products, including fresh, artisanal, and quality items rather than industrial ones, in addition to the croissants and pastries. A positive aspect is that the kitchen area is always open and you can also go there to prepare a tea or coffee, as well as to put in the fridge what you wish, since there are shelves divided by rooms. The B&b is located in a historic building and there is no elevator, so one must be prepared for the idea of climbing stairs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I stayed only one night for work. The structure is beautiful and well-kept, with all the comforts. Beautiful location. Anna is very kind and helpful.

Excellent location and cleanliness. The room was nice even though some important details were missing (mirror in the room and ventilation in the bathroom). Reception upon arrival, but not even a hello at departure. Overall, we had a good time.

Everything is wonderful, excellent hospitality and a very beautiful and welcoming room with a stunning view.

I stayed here with my sister, for 3 nights. Needless to say, the structure speaks for itself, so I will comment on the managers! We had a great time, they indicated places to go and how to move around the island independently without our own means. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Very nice and spacious rooms with a wonderful view of the tourist port. Great location. Tasty and abundant breakfast, the only flaw being the lack of good coffee with the fashion. The owners are very kind and helpful. Elba has definitely entered our hearts.

Pro: Very beautiful, bright and welcoming structure. Very comfortable bed and exclusive view of the harbor. Cons: absolute lack of soundproofing in the adjoining and upper rooms, as well as with the adjacent reception. Bathroom without windows and non-functioning extractor.

Beautiful structure with a romantic view of the sea. Fantastic welcome and super comfortable room. Breakfast rich in fresh fruit and exquisite sweets. We can't wait to come back!

A beautiful stay at B&B Porto Sole. The quote about the stairs from Pavese immediately makes you understand that this place is extraordinary. The structure is very beautiful and detailed. The sea view room is very spacious, impeccably clean, and the owner's welcome is extremely friendly. Special mention for the breakfast, truly excellent, and for the friendliness and availability of the staff member. I will definitely come back, because I felt at home!

B&B Porto Sole, and so it was every day: it brought the sun that flooded the dwelling, exposed all day from morning to sunset, with light, warmth, and unimaginable colors. Vanity room with double exposure and terrace overlooking Porto Mediceo, no. 1. It literally saved our vacation given the schizophrenic weather. We felt welcomed, pampered, safe as at home, projected directly into the life of the marina as if we were in a movie. Breakfast with very fresh pastries, bread, coffee, cappuccino, and juices always consumed on our wonderful terrace, as well as aperitifs and some take-out dinners, fantastic! Anna, the owner, immediately made an effort, considering the long train journey, to help us and make us feel at ease, as only a friend can do, and for this, we thank you very much. And Maddalena who pampered us, even just with a look, every day and met all our small daily needs... thank you... you are magnificent!

Lovely.

Welcomed in a very charming house, our stay at B&B Porto Sole was perfect. The room is cozy and clean, the splendid view of the harbor is the cherry on top. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Anna (who is also a tour guide) was thorough in giving us all the information, from beaches, to restaurants, to transportation. A splendid stay.

Authentic charm structure, with materials used in the renovation and furnishings that highlight the good taste of the property. Few rooms (ours, very spacious, had a window from which we enjoyed the late evening and awakening with a very romantic view of the marina and, on the evening of August 15th, the fireworks show in an absolutely privileged position), I believe all overlooking Calata Mazzini, furnished in a minimal way (very comfortable bed and mattress, even for me who have back problems) but bright and welcoming. Mrs. Anna, very cordial, was very discreet and, at the same time, present and always, starting from check-in, bearer of valuable advice necessary to experience the island at its best, which I found quite crowded during the August period. Welcome and, I would say, very well organized the refreshment area (also with a minimal design, which I appreciate a lot, but equipped with many high-quality and well-maintained and clean appliances), freely usable (without time constraints) for breakfast and for a quick refreshing pit stop (always available to all guests cold and hot drinks and some snacks and a portion of the fridge to store personal items) and regenerating on return (completely agree, also, with the choice/directive to inhibit the area for the preparation and organization of lunches and dinners, it would become a mess).\n\nA bit tiring, perhaps, the ramps of stairs to climb to reach the rooms, but even I, who am a great lazy person, made it.\n\nIn summary: a hug, Mrs. Anna, and goodbye, hopefully, soon!\n\nPier and Margherita.

The modern and essential style with a touch of Provence, the cleanliness, the change of towels, and the convenience of having everything within walking distance certainly helped make our stay at Elba very pleasant.

Spectacular stay in this new B&B on the port of Portoferraio. Exceptional view. Convenient shopping and shops. Small restaurants and evening entertainment. All very ok to experience a holiday on the island of Elba a bit off season with all the coves and the most beautiful beaches easily reachable by car.

There are no words to describe the complete satisfaction (mine and my husband's) in staying at this very special structure. It has the charm of authenticity (it is the faithful and challenging recovery of a house carved out of the Medici walls of the port) and furnished with extreme skill by Anna, the owner, with a modern design decor, very comfortable beds and extremely efficient and high-quality bathrooms. And it is precisely the minimalism of the furnishings that highlights even more the spectacular scenario of the ancient harbor on which all the rooms overlook, accompanied by the chatter of the inevitable seagulls. One is enchanted to observe this maritime picture and it is hard to leave! Breakfast is self-service in the well-equipped communal kitchen and if what is left is not enough for someone, they can always find what they prefer nearby. Very well done Anna and compliments for the good taste and discretion. We will definitely come back with our children and grandchildren. Thank you.

A necessary stop due to bad weather (the ships were not leaving) gave us the opportunity to know this place, in our opinion, magnificent. Upon entering, we immediately felt the warmth and atmosphere of a real home. It is new and well furnished, our room had an extraordinary view, warm and very clean, and in the bathroom there was an extra-large shower. We were surprised because we have been visiting Elba for many years and we know its structures quite well; in our opinion, it is a unique place, also for the atmosphere. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.

My husband and I have been visiting the island of Elba for some years now and it is really difficult to find a structure so well-kept in detail and comfortable as B&B Porto Sole. The owners are helpful and very kind, they have taken care of the rooms and common areas in the smallest details. In short, the result is a truly unique accommodation in a delightful location in the historic center of Portoferraio that absolutely deserves a visit. All the rooms also enjoy a spectacular view of the port, what can I say, we hope to be able to return soon.

"Beautiful and romantic stay". The structure of B&B Porto Sole is really beautiful and modern, suitable for young couples or small families. The interiors of the rooms are new and designed with furniture that I personally like a lot. The stay was pleasant and the managers were very friendly and available for any need.
