In this Bed and Breakfast you find a spectacular view of the blue sea of Ponza, which contrasts and enhances the lush green of its mountain. You find silence, after the noisy passage to Ponza Port, with its colorful houses and crowded white alleys. You find some beaches accessible on foot on the island, which are not many, with a splendid sea. You find some of the best restaurants, which you can reach on foot, where you can eat super fresh fish and breathe a more authentic atmosphere than the port area, more touristic. One for all: From Anna to Punta Incenso. Above all, you find him, Luigi, a one-man band, the owner of this little gem, supported by the faithful Baldo and Sciumi (dog and cat). Luigi carries everything forward with a smile: welcome, breakfast, tour guide, advisor, philosopher, and poet, always busy, but always available for a chat and a suggestion. Il Cigno is not a star-rated hotel, nor does it pretend to be one. It's a home away from home, it's silence and tranquility, breakfast with moka coffee and toasted bread with ricotta, it's coming back after a busy day and relaxing on its patio. What can I say, I loved this accommodation, even with its small flaws: the wifi a bit spotty, the alley not lit in the evening, some corners not exactly in order...

I had a great time, I left Il Cigno a few days ago and I would go back immediately. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Nice and always available manager, Pistoia incredibly beautiful breathtaking panorama, super breakfast, only flaw, probably due to the fact that alone but leads the whole thing, cleanliness leaves something to be desired like some useful services but with poor maintenance, however overall a great vacation.

Structure in a quiet and peaceful place, away from the nightlife, with a suggestive location, immersed in the typical Pontine vegetation, overlooking the sea. Kindness and availability of the manager. Useful information to know before booking: - in the structure no one wears a mask - isolated structure accessible by private means with great difficulty because the access road is quite steep and dirt; if public transport is used (about 25 minutes by shuttle from the port), you have to pass through a dirt path and unlit and a good number of steps. - taxis ask for the ride from the port to the structure, €27 + luggage cost and it is not easy to book them (I was on the phone from 7 to 11 pm, without succeeding, and also Mr. Luigi tried it) Near the b&b, within walking distance, there are a supermarket and three restaurants. From Monday to Friday the room was cleaned once. In the same period the linen was never changed (I also refer to the towels). Breakfast consists of a croissant, a piece of sponge cake, slices of bread, a yogurt, ricotta + a cappuccino/tea. The structure's wifi doesn't work. Bus tickets cost €2 per ride or €5 daily (if purchased on the bus, there is a surcharge of €5). Ticket machines do not always work; therefore it is better to go to the ticket office located at the bus terminus at the port. Most of the boats leave from the port on the other side of the island.

Splendid vacation.

Only the view is worth staying at the facility, which is also quite comfortable. What about Mr. Luigi and his daughter, exquisite people who make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

A place of great charm and comfort in the midst of the wild nature of the island. The hosts are delightful, welcoming you and guiding you like one of the family.

Very friendly and helpful managers for every request. Mr. Luigi always attentive with useful advice. Breathtaking panorama and tranquility. Baldo the dog, a sweet look. Like family.

Excellent facility in a strategic location, for those who love peace. Amazing breakfast and great availability of the manager.
