I booked this for Easter since other properties in the city center were full. The property is very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is nice. However, the communication with the host was not pleasant. The host asked me to pay by bank transfer €36 for tourist fees above the payment done through the platform. The host was rude when I asked for an explanation about these fees since other accommodations in Rome don't ask for these extra fees. Once this payment was done I was able to receive the codes for the door. Even though it is a self check-in, the host needs to open the main door, then the host was constantly asking me the arrival time even after I was inside the apartment. The check out is at 10am. I asked for some help to store my bags until the afternoon to attend the morning Easter mass but the host didn't want to help me with that. Again, the host was sending messages about the check-out in the afternoon even though I had left the apartment in the morning.

Mi dispiace John che tu abbia percepito questo ma la tassa di soggiorno si paga a Roma 6 euro a persona a notte e non è inclusa nel pagamento del soggiorno, così come c’era scritto anche sul sito di B&B. Non mi sembra sia stata scortese. Non ho potuto far lasciare i bagagli perché dovevano entrare altri ospiti. Anche se ha effettuato l’accesso tramite check-in online era solo per agevolare il suo ingresso e quindi per sapere a che ora sarebbe arrivato prima di sincerarmi che era proprio lei l’ospite.
