B&B Il Pavone

I highly recommend staying at B&B Il Pavone. We felt very welcomed and everything was relaxed, modern, and really easy. We wanted to escape the big city but we have to admit there are some city hotel amenities we appreciate, like phone charger ports, etc. - which the room had in abundance. It was spotless, comfortable, and of course had an incredible view on the terrace. There were plenty of towels and toiletries, and the bed was super comfortable. There's a clothesline on the balcony with clothespins, which is useful if you've been at the beach and want to rinse your suit off. Everyone talks about how great the breakfast was and it did not disappoint. But Sal and his parents truly went above and beyond - my husband has to follow a gluten-free diet, and every day there were new gluten-free options on offer. They must have gone to the grocery store and looked for food especially for him. Even the cats were hospitable. We arrived late at night and were extremely jet-lagged. Sal had mentioned that breakfast was upstairs but I wasn't sure exactly where, so I wandered into the gardens and past the kitchen. Then we had a very concerned cat follow us. It came up the stairs with me, then back down, went and stood in front of the apartment door, and meowed loudly as if to say "You silly humans, the food is here!". The house cleaner gave us beach towels when she noticed we were heading out, and after we asked Sal about taking the bus, he gave us bus tickets on our first day (I paid him back even though he didn't ask us to), and his dad even dropped us off in Amalfi when we were leaving and the bus would have been a close call timing-wise to catch the ferry we wanted, and a taxi would have been expensive. The location in Conca Dei Marini is fantastic if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe and less crazy prices.

Very recommended! Host and family are very kind and helpful! Salvatore speaks English well and is easily reachable via WhatsApp for any support and questions. They even took us with their car so we didn't have to take the bus. Very clean, amazing views. And the breakfast? Expect a WOW effect. Quoting my wife: 'I don't think I've ever had such an incredible breakfast'.

Excellent hosts and accommodations in a small, quiet town of Conca Dei Marini. Easy bus ride or water taxi to Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. Beautiful views from your private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. The property is beautiful with terraced gardens scaling the mountain with inviting vines and groves furnished with hammocks and swings. Lovely family-made breakfast daily consisting of typical Italian pastries/fruits/coffee but also made us custom omelets. Salvatore and his family could not have been more friendly and inviting. Grazie!

I have stayed at so many different Hotels and B&Bs, but the hospitality of Il Pavone was simply outstanding! Yes, staying at the Amalfi Coast becomes very expensive, and yes, for a B&B it is pretty expensive... but, the service, location, and especially the treatment you will get are worth every penny. Sensational hosts! Highly recommended to stay here.

We loved staying at B&B Il Pavone! Salvatore and his family (and staff) were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect and spotless and had a beautiful view. The garden is so stunning and was a wonderful place to watch the sunrise with a coffee. The breakfast was unbelievable and we actually planned several days around making sure we could enjoy the breakfast because it was so wonderful. Great way to start our day. Thank you to Salvatore and his family for welcoming us to your B&B!

Everything was perfect.

The hosts were super friendly and always ready to assist with any questions we had and helped carry our suitcases up the stairs. Breakfast was amazing, they had a wide variety of options including eggs made to order, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, pastries, etc. The room was cleaned daily and necessary toiletries were provided. View and garden were great, and the B&B is conveniently located very close to the bus stop to be able to get to the main bus terminal in Amalfi where you can catch the bus/ferry/water taxi to other nearby towns. I would definitely recommend this B&B because of the hosts, and also the fact that you get the benefit of the quieter but still very charming area of Conca dei Marini with the proximity and convenience of nearby Amalfi.

We would stay here again. The hosts were some of the best I have experienced in my travels. The breakfast was spectacular. And the location is good too. I have no complaints.

Salvatore and his parents were the best hosts we ever had! His mother was so sweet, cooking the best homemade breakfast we ever had at any B&B. We felt really part of the family. Salvatore was incredibly helpful. When we arrived he spent a good 30 minutes with us, telling us exactly what we could do, where the beach was and how to get there, arranging transport for us, pointing out the best restaurants. We had so many questions about getting around and he answered each one of them. He even parked the car for us when we came back from a drive and if you've ever driven in Amalfi you know how chaotic it can be. Every day at breakfast he would ask us what our plan for the day was and then start explaining what the best routes and spots were. He made our trip much easier. The room was very nice, with an exceptional view of the ocean. The cleaning lady did an amazing job every day, leaving the room spotless. And the location was amazing as well. A few minutes' drive from Amalfi, 20 minutes' walk down to the private beach (or free shuttle from the B&B). Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you can. It was an amazing experience and for the price it's a steal.

When I found this lovely property while searching for a nice, but not too expensive, place to stay, I was excited. Everything looked lovely, and the reviews were full of praises. I had high expectations. What I received during my stay was nothing short of absolutely incredible. Literally everything about the stay was perfection. The host family is so gracious and generous, the facility is beautiful with beautiful views, the breakfast was out of a fairytale... Look no further. The location is perfectly situated between Amalfi and Positano, and the hosts have all the best connections to good beaches, hikes and restaurants near the B&B. It's quaint and absolutely delightful. I will be back, without hesitation. This stay truly was a highlight of my trip. Love to B&B Il Pavone!

During our beautiful stay at Amalfi, B&B Il Pavone continued to impress us every day with excellent service, an amazingly abundant and consistently delicious breakfast, topping it off with exceptional guest service. Have only great things to say about this place. Room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was amazing. But the best thing was the host. We got great advice on the area, trips, restaurants and the host was kind enough to drive us to Amalfi when the bus missed us. Absolutely amazing place.

Il Pavone is the best B&B accommodation we have ever had. Location: The view from the room balcony to the Amalfi Coast is breathtaking. The location in the small town of Conca dei Marini offers authentic Italian flair without much tourism hype. In the village there are several restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop of the SITA bus to Amalfi is only 100m away. Parking is available on the street directly in front of the house or alternatively in the garage. Rooms: The rooms are very nice and very well maintained and have a private balcony overlooking the Amalfi Coast. There is also a beautiful garden with reclining furniture and hammocks. Breakfast: The breakfast is sensational and almost unbelievable by Italian standards. A highlight are the daily pastries freshly prepared by Mom. There is also mozzarella with tomatoes, ham, salami, mortadella, cheese, eggs and omelet. And lots of fresh fruit, served appetizing and wide peeled. Coffee from espresso to cappuccino and fruit juices of course too. Service: The service is extremely friendly and available at all times. The family is always on hand with help and advice. Shuttle rides to and from bus stations or restaurants are available. Also, we have always got good hints about restaurants or sightseeing possibilities and difficulties to consider. Even tickets for the SITA bus are available from son Salvadore. When we come back to the Amalfi Coast, only Il Pavone comes into question for us as accommodation.

One of the best places we ever have been, and we were in many. Lovely and helpfull hosts. Delicious breakfast with fresch fruits, excellent caffee. All our wishes were fullfilled almost in advance. In addition we enjoyed the wonderfull garden, drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful panorama from there. A pity we ordered the room for three nights only. Strongly recommended. Many thanks for the perfect accomodiation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Il pavone location. The place was really nice: High confort with great quality for bed furnitures and also bathroom. It was really clean also. We enjoy the view on the coast and it was also really quiet and peaceful. You also have access to a beautiful garden. Hosts were really kind and helpful. They gave us several rides and helped us to organise our trio. One another point which really contributed to our dream stay: the breakfast! In addition to be abundant, it was really good! With fresh fruits, sweeties, home made orange juice, eggs..and good cappuccino and coffee! Very highly recommanded place (the best of our total stay).

Perfect stay at Amalfi Coast with Salvatore & family We had a great time in the awesome B&B. Salvatore and his parents Vito and Carmella are very friendly and generous and took perfectly care of us. They offered the best breakfast we had during our Italy trip. Next to fresh fruits, local fresh bakeries / dolcis, they offered the best cappucino and awesome freshly made omelettes and fresh juices. You are sitting at a great huge balcony with a panoramic view overlooking the Amalfi coast. The family also organized our Capri Trip and supported us with great tipps regarding sightseeing and restaurants. They often drove us to Amalfi or the beaches as they best know the area and driving alone is sometimes a little bit tricky. The location of the B&B is perfect as well: easy access to very cute beaches, short distance to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. On top of that: nice rooms, all with view of the amalfi coast and own balconies including table and chairs. Furthermore there is free parking in front of the house. We highly recommend this B&B and definitely are coming back. @Carmella, Salvatore, Vito: we wish you all the best!

Bravo pour les petits déjeuners fabuleux composés de fruits frais, pâtisseries régionales, omelette/mozzarella, et cappucino bien mousseux dégustés dans une véranda avec une vue extraordinaire sur la côte Amalfitaine. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié qu’ils nous accompagnent en voiture tant à Amalfi, aux restaurants proches et aux sites voisins à visiter nous permettant ainsi d’éviter de prendre notre voiture sur des routes aussi belles que difficiles à circuler. Quant aux chambres, maximum de confort et propreté irréprochable avec WIFI de qualité optimale. En conclusion, une adresse immanquable au cœur de la côte Amalfitaine.

The warmth we experienced here was overwhelming. The hosts provided us with great advice for all questions. Tips on bus connections, restaurants, and activity options were included. The location of the property, high above the sea, is fantastic. The spacious garden with a view and many seating options is part of it. Breakfast on the terrace is an experience just because of the beautiful view. It was abundant and an experience for true cake lovers. Parking in the garage, for a small fee, was gladly accepted by us. We would like to thank our hosts once again.

Charming accommodation with a great view, quiet location and a beautiful garden to relax. Very friendly and dedicated operator. He informed us well about the attractions and local conditions (beaches, bus connections, restaurants...). The breakfast is varied and very nice.

We spent 4 days at Il Pavone during our big tour in Italy and we are still absolutely thrilled with this extraordinary place. Vito, Carmela and Salvatore are extremely kind, helpful and attentive hosts. It was our first time in a B&B in Italy, and we can only confirm the praise of the other guests! Vito is very caring and served us a royal breakfast every morning. Such a great breakfast is extraordinary. Everything one could wish for. Carmela spoiled us with her homemade cakes and sweets, a large plate of mixed fresh fruit, Vito's delicious eggs with tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella from Campania, ham, salami, cheese, yogurt, muesli and much more. Unbelievable. We had the green room, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and with air conditioning. Not to mention, the breathtaking view from the balcony of the sea and other small villages. We would have loved to spend a few more days with these wonderful hosts, but everything was fully booked - no wonder. Maybe we will come back again, but this time by plane.

Die Unterkunft mit der tollen Aussicht und vor allem das Frühstück ist wirklich klasse! Aber man darf von der Ortschaft/ Lage nicht viel erwarten, hier gibt es nicht viel. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein Restaurant sind in der Nähe, sonst ist alles weiter weg. Dort gibt es auch keine Möglichkeit zu bummeln oder in Bars/Geschäften zu stöbern. Für all das muss man die Ortschaft verlassen und das ist immer ein Abenteuer! Für uns wäre daher ein Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen perfekt gewesen!

The structure is elegant and very clean, Vito Carmela and Salvatore are very welcoming, always kind, helpful and smiling; the garden and the terrace where breakfast is served offer a breathtaking view; the breakfast itself is spectacular, with pastries, we did not try the salty breakfast. We will gladly return.

The B&B Il Pavone is located in a strategic point of the Amalfi Coast. Nothing to complain about the structure, beautiful rooms all with sea view. Everything was perfect, especially the breakfast was always good and plentiful. Thanks to the kindness and availability of the owners Vito, Carmela and their son Salvatore. If we happen to be in that area again, we will definitely return to this wonderful bed and breakfast.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to compliment the managers of the B&B Il Pavone. Charming Bed and Breakfast located in Conca dei Marini, a convenient location to visit the Amalfi Coast (about 10 minutes by car from Amalfi and 40 from Positano). As soon as we arrived and parked on the opposite side of the street (free parking but you can also use a garage for 10 euros a day for the most demanding guests), we were greeted by the kindness of Vito and Salvatore who showed us the room and provided numerous useful tips for our stay. Our room, rich in all comforts including bath products, etc., overlooked the sea with its private balcony. Impeccable cleanliness. Upstairs, the highlight of the structure, a wonderful terrace where, enjoying a splendid view of the coast, we had a simply fantastic breakfast, prepared every morning with extreme love by Mrs. Carmela. Just think that we ate: fresh sfogliatelle, Cheesecake with berries, coffee delights, buffalo mozzarella, scrambled eggs, fresh croissants, lemon-flavored sweets and in addition yogurt, fruit, cereals, milk, coffee, etc. Every morning we couldn't wait to wake up for breakfast 😍 and upon returning from each excursion we found Vito, Carmela, and Salvatore welcoming us with their sympathy and infinite availability. The structure also offers a beautiful solarium with sun loungers immersed in greenery and a small pool with hydromassage. We will never stop thanking Vito, Carmela, and Salvatore for the beautiful stay we had, we highly recommend the structure to those who want to visit the Amalfi Coast pampered by the classic Campania hospitality ❤️.

A corner of paradise run by a kind and helpful family that makes you feel at home as soon as you pass through the entrance gate. B&B is well cared for in every detail. The room is very pretty, everything is impeccable and very clean. The breakfast is excellent, very varied with great cakes and jams made by Mrs. Carmela. The passion that the owners put into caring for hospitality should be an example to many starred hotels. Highly recommended. Vito and Rosanna.

Posto meraviglioso e indimenticabile, accoglienza unica: lo consigliamo vivamente!

Struttura incantevole situata in uno dei posti più pittoreschi della costiera amalfitana: Conca dei Marini! La stanza, spaziosa e pulitissima, ha un balconcino con lo spazio per un tavolino e due sedie con una vista spettacolare sul Golfo di Salerno. Ospitalità, sorrisi e simpatia sono di casa in questo b&b. I proprietari di casa sono persone squisite e ci sono venuti incontro in ogni necessità e ci hanno fatto da ciceroni sulle bellezze del posto. Menzione speciale per la colazione a dir poco ricchissima e squisita!

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 giorni, siamo stati molto bene, la cortesia dei proprietari è squisita, sempre prodighi nel darci informazioni e suggerimenti. Il b&b è in una a pochi km da Amalfi ma comunque sufficiente mente vicina per raggiungerla in pochi minuti sia in auto che eventualmente con transfert o mezzi pubblici; la terrazza in cui viene servita la colazione è bellissima, la vista sulla costiera è spettacolare, la colazione con ogni squisitezza è davvero un momento di cui godere con tranquillità, un applauso ai dolci fatti in casa. Bellissima il giardino terrazzato per rilassarsi godendo il panorama bellissimo.

Trascorsi cinque giorni in questa struttura. Posso solo definirla come eccezionale sotto tutto i punti di vista. Ritorneremo in futuro senza ombra di dubbio. Un abbraccio a Salvatore ed alla sua meravigliosa famiglia. Luigi

Ottima struttura, sia per dotazioni che per posizione. Abbiamo apprezzato in modo particolare la cortesia e la disponibilità dei gestori.

De los mejores bed and breakfast que he estado. Servicio espectacular, Salvatore nos ayudó mucho con la organizacion del viaje, excursiones y los traslados, solo tengo palabras de elogio. El desayuno en la terraza con vistas al mar es espectacular, en cantidad y calidad, fruta buenísima (albaricoques de árboles propios) y pasteles de calidad, cada día diferentes, embutido, cereales, de todo. Room con baño privado con vistas espectaculares en zona tranquila y de relax de la conca Marini, con calas muy bonitas, restaurantes, repetiré. Me encontré como en casa. Cada día cambian toallas y limpian room. Todo un acierto este sitio. Repetiré. Gracias Salvatore por hacer nuestra estancia tan agradable. El jardin de la parte superior es mágico, por las vistas y la paz.

Il B&B si trova un po' distante dal mare ma con la navetta ad 1€ che passa ogni ora si arriva e si torna comodamente dalla spiaggia. A 100mt si trova la fermata del bus per Amalfi, mentre se si vuole andare a Positano bisogna scendere con la navetta e poi da lì prendere la corriera. I gestori sono favolosi, si offrono per accompagnarvi nel caso perdiate la navetta o vogliate andare fino alla partenza del sentiero degli dei (danno anche ottimi consigli sui posti da visitare e dove mangiare). La colazione è abbondantissima (brioches, mozzarelle fresche, frutta di ogni tipo, succo di vere arance buonissimo) impossibile mangiare tutto. La camera curata e ben pulita con possibilità di prendere il sole nel giardino con vista su Conca ed Amalfi. Consigliatissimo un soggiorno in questo B&B dove ti senti davvero ben accolto come fossi di famiglia.

Bellissimo B&B, camera pulitissima e comoda, colazione abbondante ma soprattutto con vista dalla terrazza spettacolare, posizione ottima, proprietari disponibilissimi. Un soggiorno veramente indimenticabile, assolutamente da consigliare.

Vito, Salvatore and Carmela are exceptional hosts, they take "hospitality" to another level.

Ringrazio Salvatore ed il padre per la loro disponibilità e i loro consigli. Ottima location per visitare la costiera fuori dal casino di Amalfi e gli altri centri della costiera ma vicinissimo per visitarli. Mi ripropongo quanto prima di tornarci. Ringrazio tutta la famiglia per la loro cordialità.

Splendida posizione panoramica, camere spaziose e curate nei dettagli, colazione abbondante e curatissima su una splendida terrazza. Direi che sicuramente un posto in cui ritornare anche per la cordialità e simpatia dei "padroni di casa".
