Our holiday home is found in at Matera art city, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the heart of the city. "Casa Maddalena" is design with meticulous attention to detail.

The breakfast I offer to my guests as pure courtesy is purely typical and genuine, provided by our ovens that prepare croissants, panbriosce and biscuits our typical every day. Juices, coffee, tea and tea in addition to milk are never lacking.

Our stay was truly pleasant and comfortable: spacious, clean, well-heated, and well-equipped apartment. \nThe lady Graziella was punctual, precise, helpful. She provided us with many excellent directions for our stay, short but comprehensive, in Matera. It was easy on foot, with a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes, to reach the city center. Well-equipped kitchen, breakfast with excellent croissants delivered in the morning by the owner in person. Recommended.

Kind and helpful host at any time of the day, dispenser of good suggestions on what to visit. We were greeted with a map of the area, marking possible routes to follow. Well-kept and welcoming house with spacious rooms and balconies. Public services such as bus, bank, supermarket, bar, etc... downstairs. The town center can be reached from the property in just ten minutes on foot. Parking space in the garage. Sweet and savory breakfast delivered to the doorstep every morning with a choice of preferences. Who knows, maybe we will meet again, perhaps to dream and be pampered even in winter. Located in a strategic area, close to the center and the Sassi. Well-supplied area for both shops and transportation and parking. Mrs. Graziella was extremely kind and showed us the secrets of Matera in advance. Recommended especially for families (we are 5 with a 6-year-old child).

We stayed at Casa Maddalena for only 2 days. We were a family group of 10 adults divided into two spacious apartments. Mrs. Graziella was very kind throughout, from our arrival, giving us valuable tips to visit Matera. Not to mention the breakfast, the apartment is very clean and well furnished. It is located in a great position to visit the city. We recommend it to large families like we were. Mrs. Graziella will make you feel comfortable.

We were two families, we stayed in the two external dependencies compared to the main building, both accommodations were large, new, welcoming, quiet, nothing was missing and even more. The owner is uniquely sweet and available. The only downside, if one can say so... the presence of many cats which might be a problem for someone who does not appreciate animals. The location is very good but not optimal, about 20/25 minutes walk, serene... but certainly not in the historic center... However, I believe that in terms of quality/price ratio it is well above the average of what is found around. Super breakfast!

Casa Maddalena is really cozy, it has all the comforts in a great location but the most beautiful thing is the landlady Graziella, kind and extremely helpful, who welcomed us with so much joy and gave us some tips on where to eat and what to visit. I recommend this property to everyone.

The apartment that hosted us was spacious, well-kept, very clean and equipped with all comforts. The location is also good, allowing you to reach the 'Casa Maddalena' with a 15-20 minute walk. The owner, Mrs. Gabriella, is very knowledgeable and generous with advice on visiting the city; she suggested the best itinerary based on the time we had available. Our judgment can only be positive. Highly recommended.

We stayed in 3 families on 14th August 2021. Cozy, clean structure and in a good location to quickly reach the center of Matera. Very helpful the owner Mrs. Graziella with advice on restaurants, bars, city tours, etc. etc. The accommodation in the annex of the structure is very nice. Highly recommended.

The structure was pleasant, but above all the welcome by Graziella. She provided us with all the necessary information for a complete visit to the wonderful Matera. The small and pleasant walk to reach the Sassi allows you to see squares, monuments, and streets with shops and local businesses. I recommend it.

Abbiamo soggiornato 1 notte in 4 persone per visitare Matera, bellissima città, l'appartamento era pulitissimo e la signora Graziella ci ha dato dei consigli molto utili. Per la colazione ci ha portato Delle briosh fresche deliziose. Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 5 in un appartamento ampio, con 2 camere da letto e salotto per il 5° posto letto. Tutto pulito, arioso, luminoso. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile nel dare informazioni per ogni necessità. Il centro storico con la zona dei sassi si raggiunge in 10 minuti a piedi, in modo semplice. Consiglio vivamente.

Posizione vicina al centro. La signora Graziella molto cordiale e disponibile, ci ha accolto con una mappa e ci ha fornito indicazioni precise. Assolutamente pulito e raffinato l'ambiente. Ci siamo trovati benissimo! Speriamo di poter tornare.

Appartamento grande, pulito e ben arredato al secondo piano di una palazzina senza ascensore situato in una zona residenziale con facilità di parcheggio. Ottima l'accoglienza e la cortesia della signora Graziella. Posizione strategica per visitare i Sassi (15 minuti a piedi). Se torneremo a Matera sicuramente alloggeremo ancora qui.

La titolare della struttura è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Quest'ultima ci ha infatti fornito indicazioni utili per visitare la città e tutte le mattine ci portava la colazione con cornetti caldi preparati personalmente da lei. L'appartamento ha rispecchiato esattamente ciò che immaginavamo io e mio marito. Se dovessi tornare a Matera di sicuro andrei di nuovo lì.

Appartamento comodissimo e molto funzionale, reso anche dalla cordialità e disponibilità della signora Graziella. Ci ha assistito dall'arrivo indicandoci tutti i possibili itinerari per godere le meraviglie di questa città. Ben collegato ai mezzi pubblici e negozi di ogni tipo veramente a due a passi, da segnalare il caseificio dietro l'angolo. Per gli amanti delle passeggiate a soli 15 minuti si arriva in pieno centro storico. Punto di forza la possibilità di avere un posto in garage. E non perdetevi la colazione, abbondante e cornetti caldi la mattina. Consigliato per una vacanze in clima famigliare. Fabrizio.

Ottimo appartamento a 20 minuti a piedi dalla piazza centrale, perfetta per una coppia con o senza figli, possibilità di cucinare e cortile esterno utilissimo nel caso di un bambino con triciclo a seguito. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione. Ottimo gusto nell'arredamento e pulizia eccellente.
