Truly Verona

I cannot express how disappointed we were with our stay in Verona. My husband and I were on our honeymoon for just two days, and this apartment completely ruined the experience. The moment we arrived and turned on the air conditioning, the room filled with an awful smell—like urine. Yes, you read that right. The smell spread throughout the entire room, and it was unbearable. We couldn’t believe we had to deal with this on our honeymoon. To make matters worse, the apartment was located right above a Cuban bar. We had no peace whatsoever, with music blaring until 3 a.m.! It felt like we were inside the bar, and it’s beyond ridiculous to think anyone would want to sleep above a nightclub on their honeymoon—or ever! The staff tried to be helpful and offered to move us the next day, but who wants to spend their holiday packing and moving? We didn’t come to Verona for a hustle; we came for a romantic getaway. We wasted the first two hours of our holiday arguing with the staff, only to be told we should have "requested a quiet area." Excuse me, but isn’t it obvious that no one would willingly stay above a noisy club? We’re fine with the typical noise of people walking, some music, etc., but this was like living in the middle of a party we didn’t sign up for. When we asked for some sort of compensation for the horrible experience, they flat-out rejected us. They claimed they couldn’t smell anything, despite one of the staff members clearly acknowledging the smell when she first came to our room. But when we asked for compensation, they suddenly acted like we were imagining it and treated us as if we were idiots. To make matters worse, we asked multiple times for a link to leave a review, and they completely ignored our messages. To top it off, when we finally got ready to sleep, I found someone else’s hair in the sink. Absolutely disgusting. The apartment was far from cosy, and the whole experience was a disaster. Usually, I’m not the type to leave reviews, but this experience made me really angry. I would never recommend this place. If you’re looking for a relaxing or romantic stay, avoid this apartment at all costs!

We felt completely comfortable. We had a wonderful host who was always available. Everything was newly renovated and, above all, very clean. We will come again.

I was very good. The girl who accompanied us to the Truly Verona structure was kind, good.

I highly recommend it. I would have liked to find the bidet and a safety box.

The property is located a 10-minute walk from the Arena in a quiet and central square. The room was spacious, modern, well-kept, and pleasant. The bathroom had a spacious shower and everything seemed very functional to us. We greatly appreciated that there was also a kettle and sachets of tea and soluble coffee, with a mini fridge in the room that allowed us to have breakfast in the room without any problems. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Well-furnished apartment, with all the comforts, impeccable cleanliness, and a breathtaking view of the Arena, which we really had right in front of us! Excellent value for money.

Upon our arrival, we checked in and were escorted to the apartment (the reception is a few minutes away from the apartment). The apartment, located on the first floor of the property, offers a partial view of the Arena, visible from all three balconies. Its location allows easy access on foot to the city's main attractions. Additionally, for those arriving from the station, there are several bus lines that stop at Piazza Bra. The interior is modern, well-furnished, clean, bright, and well soundproofed (in the same street there are venues open until late at night with music).
