This is the second time we have stayed here (two years in a row). It is ideally located for local transport and highways, making traveling around northern Italy incredibly easy. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the gardens are well maintained. The hosts are wonderful, pleasant, and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, and the kitchen and fridge in the apartment were well stocked. The bed was the most comfortable, so many good nights of sleep. We will definitely be staying again.

Jump on the tram outside the main train and bus station and take a ten-minute ride to La Lanterna B&B. The owners, who spoke excellent English, gave us all the information and more that we needed. Nicer, more friendly hosts would be hard to find. The place was clean, bright, and spotlessly clean. There was a great vegetarian restaurant with very reasonable prices one minute away and two other restaurants nearby. We spent two days going into Venice and spent our other three days exploring Padova. This place is a hidden gem but is overlooked by its neighbors Venice and Verona. Book this B&B and congratulate yourself on a good decision. We loved this holiday and will definitely be back. Thank you to our hosts Silvia and JohnMarco.

Great place to stay. Nearly perfect. Friendly owner. Big room, the suite, nicely decorated. Very good breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay there. Near the highway and close to the center of Padova. If we go back to that surrounding, we will certainly go back.

We felt like if we were staying at a friends' place. There would be no doubts which place to book if I needed to go to Venice again! It looks like a 5 star hotel, with a huge living room and a kitchen. It is a totally new house, it even smells good! When we came we were offered many favors that you would not expect in any other hostels. Only positive memories from this place! Thank you!

I would have even given 20/10. Super beautiful house - everything is arranged with a lot of taste, very modern, chic, delicate, stylish, refined decoration, beautiful paintings, and beautiful furniture. You feel very good in this house. Very clean. The warm welcome from the owners. The breakfast, we should say the big breakfast in the morning that takes your breath away. Super. Super well done!

La Lanterna is a very nice accommodation and the landlords are very kind and helpful. Of course, La Lanterna is not centrally located in Padua, we knew that, but the connection to the city was very good. I would stay there again if I were to travel to Padua again.

The accommodation is easily accessible from the train station by tram. The location is relatively quiet. Our room downstairs even had a small outdoor area to sit. The mattress was a bit softer than usual. Very friendly reception.

We were greeted very kindly and provided with comprehensive information about the property and the city. La Lanterna is conveniently located in a quiet suburban area. All major sites are easily accessible on foot and by tram. The air conditioning proved to be excellent during the high summer temperatures. The extremely rich breakfast leaves nothing to be desired by Italian standards. The hosts are discreet but always available for any questions or requests. Mille Grazie!

To tell the truth, La Lanterna is the best BB I have ever stayed in, for many reasons. First, the house and the room stand out for their cleanliness and spaciousness. Second, the breakfast is very good. Third, the attention is personalized and, at the same time, they adapt to the guest trying to make him feel completely comfortable. Finally, and fifthly, the price/quality ratio is totally favorable. Perhaps the only thing I could criticize is that it does not have cable or satellite television, but this is a much smaller aspect considering the purpose of the visit. Absolutely recommendable.

In the accommodation Fireplace, we had a great time as three. There is no real bedroom, but a very spacious kitchen and living room with 2 sofa beds in 2 different areas that are very comfortable. A small garden accessible through beautiful windows. Quiet and clean. I recommend it.

Everything was positive except for two very important things for me: the soundproofing (you can hear all the noises from the upstairs and the adjacent rooms) and the bed - very soft mattress and "lumpy" pillows, which I think should be replaced. I appreciated the small breakfast.

Grazie della recensione sig.ra Laura, anche se è la prima volta che ci riferiscono di aver sentito rumori dal piano sopra. Per i materassi sono volutamente morbidi grazie ad un topper di aloe che è un punto di forza per la mggioranza dei nostri clienti . Per i cuscini verifichiamo perché avendone 4 per ogni letto matrimoniale e cercando di darne di più o meno morbidi non è facile capire quale è stato per lei a bozzi. Nel dubbio li sostituiremo dato che per noi è fondamentale che i nostri ospiti dormino bene.

The apartment is very welcoming and well-kept. The silence and tranquility prevail despite having busy roads nearby. The welcome and availability of the owners are excellent. The proximity to the center, which is only 10 minutes away by car, is also appreciated. As far as I am concerned, I will not look for other places except this one.

Great reception, tastefully decorated and above all warm and comfortable environment, located in a quiet residential area away from traffic. Privacy ensured and kitchen equipped with a welcome set for a possible breakfast, provided with espresso machine, kettle, microwave oven. Very cozy room, has everything you need, a small minibar, kettle, coffee and tea, things that are always nice to find. Francesca is very kind and helpful. The lack of a bidet is not a big issue. The structure is a 5-minute walk from the tram terminus that takes you to the city center. I recommend it to those who want to spend a weekend in Padua.

The distance from the center was compensated by all the other factors that made the stay exceptional: new and clean structure, independent and comfortable entrance for the rooms, abundant and varied breakfast. La Lanterna is a cozy Bed and Breakfast with truly spacious, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean rooms (cleaning service is provided daily). The bed is very comfortable and the pillows soft; the kitchen lacks nothing of what might be needed; the new windows open also from the top and are very convenient. The family is helpful and kind. We greatly appreciated that they provide each guest with a fresh brioche for breakfast. Although the property is not centrally located or in a noteworthy area, it is in a quiet residential area, very close to the tram terminus (easily reachable on foot) and still in the vicinity of the city center.

A place to return to absolutely! I attended a concert at the Gran Teatro Geox, which is a 5-minute drive from this B&B, which in turn is about 6 or 7 tram stops from the station. The property is beautiful, well-furnished, clean, bright, and in a quiet neighborhood. My room was huge and had every type of comfort, with new, modern furniture that is well cared for in detail. The Italian breakfast was very assorted to meet every need, not to mention the friendliness and availability of the person who welcomed me: Gianmarco. In short, I found it perfect and if I had to return to Padova, I would definitely stay there.

We spent a few days in this B&B on the occasion of a concert and took the opportunity for a few days of tourism in Padua. The property is located slightly on the outskirts, in a very quiet area without noise. It is very convenient to reach the center: a few minutes on foot and you can find the tram line that takes you quickly to the center of Padua. The rooms are very beautiful and finely furnished, with a small bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. But the most pleasant thing was the kindness and availability of the managers, who welcomed us as if we were part of the family and went out of their way to ensure we had a peaceful vacation. Considering the excellent price, we can only highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

We had a great time! We were in Padua for a concert and we felt welcomed and pampered by the family of the managers from the very first moment. Skilled and friendly people. The B&B is fantastic, a modern structure, cleanliness, attention and care for every detail. The breakfast is worthy of a mega buffet, very rich and served in the living room, another bright space, very welcoming and well-kept. The room where I stayed (Tortora suite) is very comfortable, spotless, bright (it overlooks the garden) and quiet. The apartment is well connected to the city center: a few meters away is the tram terminal. The breakfast is excellent. The structure is in the outskirts. It is a quiet area and is excellently served by public transport. A short distance away, about 10 minutes on foot, there is the northern terminus of the metro and in 15 minutes you are in the city center. The owners are very kind. The breakfast is nothing short of abundant and varied. The furnishings are very stylish and tastefully matched. The cleanliness and attention to detail are excellent. What can I say, even though we stayed only one night, it was enough for us to appreciate all this. We wholeheartedly recommend it because, among the many bed and breakfasts we have frequented in various parts of Italy, it is undoubtedly in first place.

The B&B is located in a new and spacious house, with a garden usable in summer, all well cared for by the owners. Guests have access to the entire ground floor (living room, dining room, kitchen) which is well furnished, bright (large windows) and very airy. The room (with independent access) is excellent in all aspects. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is very good and plentiful.
