A wonderful experience and a generous host. The b&b is very chic and Marco is a very attentive host. He spoiled us with fresh bread and pastries baked by him, eggs how we like them and many more! It was a pleasure to chat with him, as we got to know insights in the Venetian way of life. Will happily come back here!

This place is a gem! The room was clean with lots of character, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and we loved our stay. My favorite part of our stay was having breakfast with our host Marco, eating his homemade food and having delightful conversation. My wife and I have agreed that Marco's is the only place we will stay at in Venice going forward.

Our stay with Marco made our trip to Venice. I have never had such a caring, thoughtful and kind service in a bed and breakfast. Marco's breakfast is delicious and we could stay and chat all day. We were so grateful for Marco's knowledge and tips for navigating Venice. The bed and breakfast is perfect, so many lovely touches, perfect cleanliness and so comfortable. Within walking distance of everything you could need. We would love to come and stay again please Marco!

A hidden gem! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Il Giardino di Giulia and we cannot say enough about this wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel comfortable and right at home. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and offered the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to a delicious homemade breakfast was a daily highlight – fresh ingredients and beautifully presented was a wonderful way to start each day. The quiet cozy room with personal touches and a fabulous host truly made our stay special. Marco went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations for local eats and also provided a lot of information/history. Marco's place is less than a ten minute walk from the train station and central enough to get anywhere by foot. His place does have stairs to the room and then another set of stairs to the breakfast room, so keep that in mind if you are unable to navigate stairs. Fabulous stay and only wished we lived closer to make this a regular stay! Thank you very much Marco!

Our host Marco was fabulous! Very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had a fabulous time in Venice. His breakfasts were delicious, especially his pancakes! The B&B was centrally located. When we return to Venice, we will definitely stay with Marco.

Marco is the best host! A walking distance from the train station or the bus from the airport.\n\nAlso, walk straight out the door about 1 or 2 blocks to the Grand Canal then a couple more to the vaporetto stop.\n\nYou might be awakened some days at 7:30 or 8 by the cheerful voice of the trash collector below your window.\n\nGood gelato shop very close.

This was my first solo travel to Europe and in Italy, Venice was my first stop. I had some hesitations despite the excellent reviews I had read of this Bed and Breakfast. Marco and his B&B not only erased my fears. They far exceeded my expectations. Right from the beginning, Marco patiently and promptly responded to my every question and made me feel safe. He gave me specific directions and patiently stayed on the phone and 'kept me company' until I reached his place. He greeted and warmly welcomed me at the door as if I was part of the family. He carried my luggage up the stairs for me, made me feel at home and gave me tips about Venice - the best places to go for food, getting around, etc. Marco's B&B is literally a 2-3 minute walk from the Grand Canal. My evenings were magical! Breakfasts - they made my stay in Venice even better. It was at this table where I met very kind people and had great laughs and conversations over the delicious food Marco had prepared for us. He even remembered to prepare soy milk for me (I had mentioned in my previous emails that my stomach reacts to milk other than soy). That was a nice touch. Finally, Marco went out of his way for me. I had forgotten to drop my postcards in the mailboxes - Marco found them after I had checked out and sent them for me without extra charge. When I visit Venice again, I will definitely stay with Marco again. I will bring the whole tribe with me then. I would not hesitate to recommend Marco's B&B to anyone. Thank you so much, Marco!

Lovely, lovely B&B! Marco is a very good and lovely host. The B&B is located central, just a stone's throw away from the train station and the ferry on the Grand Canal. It's a bit of a walk to St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, but not too much. We loved every recommendation from Marco. We would definitely book it again. Breakfast was lovely with homemade cake and fresh eggs every morning.

My wife and I stayed at 'Il Giardino di Giulia' for four nights. Marco is the perfect host! He speaks fluent English (and French too) and told us the best places to eat and explained where to get the vaporetto from, for our planned excursion the following day. He made us delicious pancakes for breakfast, with excellent coffee and homemade cakes on offer too. The property is within walking distance of both Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma bus station (approximately 5 and 10 mins respectively). This might not sound like a big deal, but if you're arriving by train or bus in the middle of summer, you won't want to be walking far with luggage or paying for an expensive water taxi. Despite being located in a busy 'Callè', the rooms are quiet and as most tourists have left by nightfall, there is little in the way of noise. We will definitely be returning and can't wait to catch up with Marco again!

We stayed 2 nights in Venice at Marco’s place which was in a great location, very close to the train station. Very nice bed and breakfast. Marco is a very attentive host. Fluent in English and French, makes conversation easy. Guests and Marco sit together at 1 breakfast table for a multi-national chat, so take this into account if you are one of the grumpy sort in the morning. I liked it very much, it shows that Marco has interest in his guests and that he likes his "job".

"Il Giardino di Giulia" is a very cute, little B&B in the heart of Venice, not far from the station and the touristic highlights, but at the same time absolutely quiet and peaceful. The host is warmly and helpful and tells you lots of interesting stories about his wonderful hometown. And the three guest rooms are quite small, but very nice and individually designed.

What an excellent find, in one of the small back streets in Venice. An oasis of calm, our room looked onto the garden at the back of the church and was small but comfortable with everything we needed. Marco was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and his breakfasts were delicious and set us up for our two days of sightseeing. Could highly recommend.

Would we have enjoyed Venice as much without Marco's excellent welcome? Certainly not. Ideally located, this B&B is a charming, spacious and comfortable gem from which it is easy to explore the different districts of the city. The host, attentive, discreet and cheerful, carefully takes care of the comfort of the travelers. The homemade breakfast is of exceptional quality! With generosity, Marco offers his advice and kindly responds to special requests. A 5-star rating for this tailor-made service that combines the charm of the place, the richness of human encounter, and the quality of a high-end service. Looking forward to going back!

We stayed 2 nights in this accommodation for New Year's and can only recommend it: Accommodation in the heart of Venice, very well located (10 minutes from the train station and about 25 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco). Marco, the owner, is an exceptional host very kind who loves what he does and it shows! Before our arrival, he gave us all the details to reach his accommodation from the airport and made himself available for all our questions (transports, recommended restaurants, etc). Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Marco who gave us all the practical information to discover Venice and even left us a little attention in the fridge to celebrate the new year, in addition to the coffee/tea and homemade cookies available in the room. The room is very spacious, clean and very well maintained, we felt at home. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh, healthy and homemade products by Marco who sat with us for a very friendly exchange and sharing moment. In conclusion, this accommodation is a rare gem, we highly recommend it and keep this address preciously if we have to stay again in Venice!

Excellent welcome with Marco in the kitchen for a homemade breakfast with quality products and homemade bread. Warm recommendations for the list of visits and exhibitions in Venice and for good typically Venetian restaurants. Very well-kept room, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle in a typical neighborhood of authentic Venice and 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Rialto and 50 meters from the Grand Canal. To be recommended both for its location and the quality of our host. Exceptional at this price level.

I stayed at this delightful Bed and Breakfast alone for two nights, what can I say: everything perfect, no detail left to chance, top-notch hospitality, super strategic location for any activity and close to the train station yet very quiet (overlooking a small garden), breakfast for connoisseurs. Marco is a host deserving of top marks and a skilled pastry chef. Highly recommended structure especially if you are looking for an authentically Venetian experience (late 1400s location) with, in my opinion for Venice, an excellent quality/price ratio. I will definitely come back!

Marco is a person to say the least exquisite and very helpful. The B&B is located near the station 10 minutes from San Marco and near a vaporetto landing stage for those who do not want to walk or want to take a ride on the Grand Canal. Good breakfast and excellent room cleanliness. We will definitely come back.

We stayed from 16 to 18 June and I can only say it was superb. Strategic location, quiet even though central but above all the welcoming and service make the difference! Very clean, excellent breakfast, abundant and delicious and then a great added value, the owner Marco who welcomed us as friends rather than guests, friendly and cordial in short we had a great time! We highly recommend it.

We stayed two nights at this lovely Bed & Breakfast in the center of Venice. Convenient for its proximity to the station and starting point for our walks in the 'Calli'. Managed by Marco, a more than hospitable person, who made our weekend even more enjoyable.

The answer from the host:
Sono davvero felice che ti sia piaciuta la mia città. È stato un immenso piacere fare la tua conoscenza e sarai sempre il benvenuto, ogni volta che vorrai tornare in città. Grazie ancora di cuore e a presto, Marco.

A beautiful holiday, thanks also to Marco, for his kindness and availability. The location is great (city center easily reachable on foot and public transport stops and train station very close by). The breakfast is fantastic, all fresh, organic, and with many delicacies prepared by Marco. At breakfast, everyone gathers together and gets lost talking with Marco, a truly pleasant and excellent company person. Our room (Marcello) is tastefully furnished, bright, quiet, and always perfectly clean! What can I say..a perfect holiday, made even more beautiful by choosing this accommodation! I highly recommend it to everyone!

I was lucky to find this place because I booked 2 days before in the peak of the holiday season. I didn't expect to feel so good. I couldn't have found better because: - It is really just a stone's throw from the station and easy to reach. - The room I had was themed "rock", very nice and clean, maybe a bit noisy since there is a bar downstairs, but it was still pleasant to listen to people speaking the Venetian dialect! - The breakfast is delicious and cared for in every detail thanks to Marco who prepares everything with love, you can see it ;) - The manager, Marco, is a very kind and helpful person who gives you all the tips to visit the city at its best. I recommend it to everyone, and if I have to come back to Venice, I will definitely return here! Thanks also to Marco for the welcome.

Great location, very nice and clean room, Marco is a welcoming and helpful person who takes care of guests and personally manages the house. Organic breakfast with products cooked by him. Only small flaw the lack of air conditioning in a hot but always beautiful Venice. I will definitely come back to this delightful B&B.

A magnificent stay. Everything was truly splendid. The location is perfect for its proximity to the station (really just 5 minutes on foot) and the main departure points for the boats that take you to various points in Venice itself and the nearby islands. An optimal position also for those who want to explore Venice on foot. The manager is of a unique cordiality and kindness, I have never found anything like it in my travels: he makes you feel at ease right away, maximum availability. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

I found myself not well, but even better. The rooms show the passion with which they were made. The cleanliness is excellent, and I work in the healthcare field. The products are organic. The owner is very available, very nice, and very professional. In short: go there. Thank you Marco, see you next time.

Excellent location for those arriving by train, just 5 minutes from the station. Marco, with his friendliness, availability, and local stories, really makes you feel more at home than on a trip. The property is clean and welcoming, original, and well cared for in details and furnishings, a result of research and a sign of undeniable taste. The breakfast is abundant with organic and healthy products. Great value for money. Thumbs up.

The manager was extremely available, very quick to come and pick people up at the station, and allowed us to leave our luggage on the day of departure and stay in the house for the pickup. Great advice on finding the right places to eat and drink! Definitely follow him.

We have never been better in any structure visited so far. The manager made us feel at home right away, welcoming us and our dog with the utmost availability. The neighborhood where the structure is located is ideal for visiting the whole city as it is in a non-central position, but a short distance from both the docks for the islands and the city center. The cleanliness is maximum, the rooms are tastefully furnished with stylish furniture. Breakfast is always different, delicious, and totally organic. In the room, there is an electric kettle and a wide selection of teas, infusions, herbal teas, as well as soluble ginseng coffee. Additionally, there are always organic fruit juices in the minibar, and on the small table, the owner always leaves some sweet snacks, which makes every return to the room even more pleasant. The passion and dedication with which Marco manages his structure truly makes the stay in this bed and breakfast special, highly recommendable even to those traveling with their pets. You can be sure that whoever welcomes your four-legged friend does so out of absolute love for animals, sincere and evident, not for business purposes. In fact, no extra fee is requested for the stay of pets. Although we had mentioned that we would bring our bowls, Marco had two waiting for us in the room, which we always found clean upon our return. It is difficult to find a bed and breakfast where the bed is made every day, and the room is clean. The detergents used are also eco-friendly. We will definitely return, as we have already told Marco, whom we now consider a family friend. The same goes for his partner, who we have not seen too often because she is busy with her work as an architect, whose touch is noticeable in the decoration of the spaces. Last but not least, the structure, completely renovated, is equipped with insulation to ensure the least possible thermal dispersion, so the room is always warm in winter even if the heating is off. Those who are more sensitive to cold can still adjust the heating to their liking. The aforementioned insulation makes the rooms evidently fresh in summer. For this reason, the ceiling fan is sufficient. Truly the best.

The hospitality was exquisite, like a friend welcoming you into their home rather than a hotelier. At breakfast, aside from the excellent homemade tart, there were many useful tips about staying in Venice. Thank you Marco! Fabio and Angela.
