Our B&B is located in Venice Mestre, a historic city of art. Our structure enjoys an excellent position also for those who want to reach us by car, in fact we are in the central area a few steps from the tram and bus terminal that connect us to the city of water and we also have free parking at the inside the perimeter of the building. "B&B Colombo" is a residence of the early '900 with typical Liberty style features, a structure with a unique and unmistakable style, where our guests can relax and feel at home.

A short distance from our residence guests will find sports facilities and fitness centers to keep fit even on vacation.

The B&B Colombo, located in Mestre, Venice, serves as a perfect starting point for exploring the wonderful area of Venice. The property is conveniently situated close to all amenities in Mestre, including shops, bars, restaurants, and the massive weekly market. The center of Venice, with its canals, bridges, and St. Mark's Square, is a mere 15-minute, 1.5€ bus or tram ride away. Tickets can be purchased at the machine in the tram/bus stop, which is only 200m away.\n\nThe property itself is spotless, well-appointed, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast provided is probably the best "continental breakfast" you could find anywhere. The selection includes cheese, meat, and salad with eggs and fried bread, as well as croissants, pastries, biscuits, and cereals. This spread is more than enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. Drinks such as orange juice, tea, and coffee are supplied, along with three different types of milk. Additionally, various dietary requirements are taken into account.\n\nWe stayed for four nights and couldn't have been better catered for. The owner genuinely cares about every aspect of the stay and takes great pride in her property and welcoming guests to it. We would recommend this B&B to anyone. It is close to the perfect place to stay.

The B&B Colombo is really great, the rooms are as in the pictures, a nice atmosphere. The owner is super nice and wants to help you with everything. The breakfast is deliciously diverse. It is an ideal location for a visit to Venice, you can park your car on private property behind the B&B (quite cramped though). Downtown Mestre and the tram are less than 5 minutes walk from the B&B. By tram in 15 minutes in Venice. The only minus to the family room: there are 2 bathrooms, only 1 has a toilet (and for your information if you go with small children: there are 2 separate rooms facing each other with a hallway in between).

Thanks Evelyn for your review, we always welcome your information and advice with great interest and attention, this is because it is our interest to get closer and closer to the interests of our guests. B&B Colombo was built inside an ancient historic building bound by the Fine Arts, this in some respects can be an advantage because those who stay with us have the opportunity to experience staying in a historic building, the second however, it is binding because it is not possible for us (as a historical constraint) to make any substantial changes and therefore to create a complete bathroom inside the room has not been granted to us. Charlotte room consists of two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an en-suite shower, a second bedroom opposite with two single beds and a complete bathroom with a second shower for the whole family. We think this solution could be ideal for families or groups of friends traveling together and wishing to have a new experience.

We just finished our stay at the Colombo and couldn’t be happier. Katia was quick to answer questions before arriving, arranged for a taxi from the airport, sent lots of suggestions for activities and food, and was warm and gracious in all interactions. The rooms are beautifully decorated and include thoughtful details like a USB port. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Toilets are separate from the rooms: saw another guest in my pajamas in the hall during the night but not a huge deal. Stairs can be tricky with luggage. More reason to pack light! Very close to T1 tram and 4L bus which run frequently and take you straight to Venice. Again, highly recommend!

The host was nice and always at our disposal, from my point of view I paid way less compared to the quality of service I got. Would definitely recommend the place mainly because of the host but also because it is in a really good location close to almost everything.

The hosts are genuinely friendly and have great tips on what to do. Everything is spotlessly clean in the B&B. The rooms are spacious and really beautifully decorated with very high quality materials. It's also really nice to have window blinds that can completely darken the bedrooms. We also liked it very much that cars can be parked on site.

We loved this B&B very much! Beautiful and elegant decoration, clean, comfortable. Thanks to Luciano and Katia who came to pick us up from the airport as our flight arrived late and also for giving us tips and suggestions for where to go in Venice. Breakfast was also amazing. Bus or tram to Venice at 20 min not 10! Travel card all included to Venice is 20 eur 1 day, 30eur 2 days and 40eur 3 days.

We ended up staying only one night at Luciano's place instead of three as it was planned. There was a misunderstanding with the booking which we discovered only 1 hour before our arrival. Luciano did his best to find us another accommodation at the same price. We were very sad to leave his place because it was very nice: the best location if one decides to stay in Mestre, less than 5 minutes away from the main station of Mestre. So reaching Venice by public transport was very convenient. The room we had was nice and very clean, the breakfast, with very good, organic products (milk, yogurt, fruit juice etc). So all in all, Luciano's place can only be recommended.

Traveling on my own, I felt secure staying in the B&B Colombo. The owner kindly guided me over the phone until I reached the premises. I was permitted to park my loaded car in the courtyard of the house, which simplified my departure the following morning. A simple, clean, tasteful, family-run B&B, very close to the shopping center of Mestre. I recommend it.

Excellent location to visit Venice. Karen's welcome is very warm and she is lovely. She took the time to answer our questions about Venice. The rooms are comfortable and located a few steps from the tram that takes you to Venice. Exceptional breakfast!!! I've never had such a good and plentiful breakfast.

Die Nähe zum Terminal der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ermöglicht es Ihnen auch, Ihr Auto am Anreisetag zu parken und die Straßenbahn- und Busverbindungen für jede Art von Fahrt zur Insel Venedig und zum Bahnhof zum Preis von 1,50 € zu nutzen

We were for the 2nd time in this B&B and immediately felt comfortable again. A nice and lovely accommodation, with very friendly hosts, a good breakfast, parking on site, a short walk to bus and train to go directly to Venice. Also recommended is a stroll in Mestre. Everything on site for eating and shopping. Thank you for the lovely days, we will come back.

We stayed at the Colombo B&B for two days and first of all a big compliment to Luciano, he was a great host. He responded immediately to messages, provided tips, and allowed for both a late check-in and luggage storage after check-out - great host.\n\nThe location of the B&B is also nice, quiet, and close to the tram stop. Of course, it is Mestre and not directly Venice, but this is also reflected in the price-performance ratio. The room was simple, with a bed, wardrobe, desk, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The two bathrooms available were clean and had everything you needed.\n\nThe breakfast was "Italian", so you should not expect a huge breakfast, but if you are satisfied with coffee/tea/juice, cereals, fruit, a croissant, and some toast with Nutella/jam, you will be well served.\n\nThe only small drawback I saw is that the doors are a bit old and do not close silently, meaning you might be awakened at night by other guests using the bathroom. But apart from this, definitely worth a recommendation.

Great location for easily reaching Venice. Katia and Luciano welcomed us in a superb way, giving us many tips to move around the city and offering us very abundant breakfasts, besides the fact that it was a pleasure to chat with them in the morning. Highly recommended!

Great location in the center of the city, just a few meters from the tram station and only 15 minutes from the center of Venice. Well-furnished room, excellent and abundant breakfast; very kind and helpful owner. The stay was pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommended. I hope to return soon.

Ours is an Italian breakfast to which we produce healthy and organic products. We understand that compared to your breakfast, the Italian one may seem not very substantial, but for us breakfast is the first of five daily meals, light and healthy.

Family trip, with children and grandparents. We all had a great time. Katia was always very kind, welcoming, and very helpful, indicating how to move around, what to see, and where to taste local dishes. The structure is very well-kept, the only flaw being three flights of stairs. When we make another trip to Venice, we will definitely stay at Katia and Luciano's place! A beautiful residence, well taken care of in details and furnishings, completely modernized. Very easy to reach Venice, the transportation is really just a few steps from the door, excellent value for money. The manager was really kind and attentive, the same for the person who welcomed us, I would not hesitate to come back.

At 50 meters from the B&B there is the terminus of public buses to Venice that you will reach in 10 minutes by bus.\n\nThe owners Luciano and Laura are very kind and very helpful.\n\nThe room was bright and well furnished, equipped with air conditioning and a large wall TV.\n\nVery good cleaning: the shared bathroom was very fragrant and very clean. Excellent breakfast, plus we requested something gluten-free and we were satisfied.\n\nThe B&B is very close to the center of Mestre and so in the evening, returning from excursions in the lagoon, we could dine in one of the bars in the center of this delightful part of Venice.\n\nAn ideal place for those who want to visit Venice out of necessity without spending a fortune and with an ideal quality-price ratio.

Great, we stayed with children and we had plenty of space. Cleaning was top-notch and the managers were very helpful. Really just a stone's throw from the center and the bus stop to Venice, easy to reach without incurring in the limited traffic zone. I gladly recommend it and if I were to return to Venice, I would have no doubts about going back. Congratulations to the managers.

The place is great in every way. Let's obviously start with the structure that reflects (as it should) the personality of the very kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful owners. The assigned room was an island of relaxation. Bed, wardrobe, well-lit with two large windows that overlook the main street, equipped with mosquito nets and a very large flat-screen television. Excellent cleanliness. The shared bathroom was very fragrant, very clean, and new. Excellent breakfast made up of whatever the guests want. Delicious the hot croissant and the coffee from the machine. For the rest, nothing is missing, and any request is immediately turned into reality by the owners (husband and wife who live a stone's throw away and are therefore always present in case of need). For the rest, the B&B is practically located in the very center of Mestre. Just 50 meters away is the bus terminal for Venice, reachable in just 10 minutes with very frequent buses. For the rest, a very quiet area both day and night. Ideal for those who want to visit or have to go to Venice for necessity without spending a fortune. Truly excellent quality-price-welcome ratio. Sincere and genuine compliments to the managers.

What can I say? I stayed very briefly in this establishment unfortunately, but I promised myself to return soon. Everything is taken care of in minute detail, very clean. Laura is a fantastic person, very helpful, organized and very kind. And the breakfast is fabulous.
