B&B Nonna Amelia

Elisabetta and Andrea take pride in hosting well, excellently, to be more precise. The Bed and Breakfast Nonna Amelia is a short distance from downtown Vicenza, yet we are in the countryside, where we can relax and simply breathe fresh air, be in touch with nature. Everything we need is well taken care of – the rooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped, with all the necessary appliances and breakfast that can be personalized to our liking, plus a large terrace adjoining the kitchen. Access to the rooms is independent, so we don’t feel we are intruding. Should something unexpected happen, both Elisabetta and Andrea are available to help. Absolutely recommended.

It is a very nice, comfortable, original place to be, with very friendly owners. They will do everything to make it a special, unforgettable stay for you. A lovely family.

I stayed with my husband at this accommodation during the van Gogh exhibition. The location is in the open countryside, yet only 5 km from Vicenza. The rooms, quiet and peaceful, are tastefully furnished with antique furniture. They are complete with all the necessary amenities including extra pillows and blankets. The renovated bathroom also has a spacious and functional shower box. I have nothing to say about the cleanliness, which I found to be excellent. It's a shame that due to organizational reasons during those days we couldn't enjoy breakfast, however, the kitchen area was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing missing was an oven, but we were told that an electric oven will be installed soon. Special mention to the host, Mrs. Elisabetta, who is very kind and available for all our needs. She is also very generous with tourist and gastronomic tips. A truly pleasant stay!
