This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places I’ve ever stayed in. Giorgio is an exceptional host—extremely attentive and kind to his guests. The room was very spacious and spotless. His home is beautiful and has absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay in Venice. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Mestre station, which makes it super convenient to reach Venice in only 20 minutes.\n\nGiorgio went above and beyond when he kindly offered to drive us to Piazzale Roma because we had to go to the hospital. It was such a thoughtful and human gesture. He was also incredibly helpful in recommending the best places to see and eat in Venice.\n\nThank you, Giorgio, for all your kindness. The apartment is located a few steps from the station, restaurants, atm machines. The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. From the moment we started our stay in this B&B, we felt welcome and comfortable. The place is really good, it is equipped with everything you may need and it is very clean. The attention to detail is superb. It may not look like your typical 5-star hotel, but I guarantee that we felt like we were in one. Like the apartment wasn't good enough, the owner is amazing. Everything he does for his guests doesn't go unnoticed. Our trip to Venice was definitely improved by his advice. I honestly think I couldn't have gone to a better B&B.

Although his English is poor, he knows what he needs to know. He spent over 20 minutes thoughtfully sharing his suggestions for Venice itinerary and local restaurants. These were very useful tips. He is a sincere, kind man who clearly cares about his visitors.

Dear Michael, thank You for Your very nice words. Concerning the breakfast the complete list of the items is duly detailed in the home page of our website. We offer a large series of various items just to overcome the law limits that obliges the B&B to supply only foods in individual packing. If some our colleague offers different items they do it at their own risk bcs clearly out of law. The question was clearly explained during the check-in and a multilingual information sheet mentioning text and nr of this law is attached to the fridge in the kitchen. So your vote (5) is to intend not to our breakfast but to the law that doesn 't allows us to act different. I'll be very grateful if You can suggest me how I can realize a breakfast to vote

What can I say? Giorgio was a fantastic host, easy to communicate with beforehand, and he shared many of his recommendations for things to see, restaurants to go to, etc when we arrived. The accommodation is just a short walk from the train station where there are frequent and very cheap trains to S. Lucia. Breakfast is self-service and there are cooking facilities if you need them. We'd also recommend the Soul Kitchen Cafe by the station if you want to eat breakfast out locally.

The place is a little oldish but very charming. The host is extremely nice and helpful with everything, a perfect location for people wanting to visit Venice but not paying the Venice-prices and/or to get out of the high-density zone for the nights and find some relief in a "normal" city surrounding. Mestre has its own, rough charm, too, by the way.

He allowed us to leave our luggage for an extra day after our stay and gave us the keys to his apartment so we could retrieve the luggage whenever we wanted. The apartment is really nice and clean, you will find almost everything in it to make your travel easier. La colazione a buffet, che si può fare a qualsiasi ora, è composta da brioches, tortini, crostatine, dolci al cioccolato, muesli, cereali di 2 tipi, zucchero biologico di canna, tisane e tè di molti tipi, caffè, burro, marmellatine, yogurt su richiesta, mele, fette biscottate, fette di pane fresco da tostare, tutto di marche primarie. Ovvero il massimo che la legge ci consente stante che, come da apposito cartello appeso al frigo, la Legge Regionale n° 33/2002, allegato F, parte II, vieta tassativamente ai B&B la manipolazioni di alimenti (quindi no affettati sfusi, no dolci fatti in casa, solo prodotti preconfezionati).

Clean accommodation, very close to Mestre station, therefore very convenient for getting to Venice (about 30 minutes) by train or with bus number 2, 150 meters from the apartment. We stayed at the B&B Romantica Venezia for 4 nights and it was simply perfect. The welcome from our host is amazing, with many explanations, advice, and time to make Venice accessible to us. The room is clean and spacious, the sheets smell good and it is very pleasant. As for the common areas, they are adequate, the bathroom was also clean, as well as the kitchen, where we had our breakfasts. The breakfast options are very good, including cereals, sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits, hot drinks, fruit juice, milk, and cookies, nothing to complain about. Regarding the location: it is simply ideal, just 5 minutes walk from the station that leads to Venice "island". We are delighted with our stay, do not hesitate for a second, this accommodation is perfect in terms of quality-price ratio. We recommend it 100%!

Giorgio is a host of rare kindness and very good advice. The check-in is so masterfully conducted that it saves the crowded Tourist Office visit! The breakfast is abundant but sometimes lacks a bit of variety. The apartment is very close to Mestre train station, where all trains to and from Venice Santa Lucia pass. Small restaurants and supermarket nearby (well-equipped kitchen). Excellent value for money!!! I recommend it!!!

For a first stay in Venice we were not disappointed. The accommodation was well located even if outside Venice (2 minutes walk from Mestre train station - very regular train departures with a journey time of 10 minutes for a fare of 1.45 euros one way). Spacious room for 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) with a slightly outdated decoration but very clean and with an excellent value for money. The most remarkable thing about this accommodation is our host: attentive, discreet, welcoming and very good advice (he spent more than an hour on our arrival explaining to us, with a map in hand, the points to see and the organization to have to optimize our short stay. We recommend this place.

Great value for money. The accommodation is very well located - 5 minutes walk from the train station and then 10 minutes by train to Venice. Trains run regularly (you don't need to choose in advance which train to take; cost per trip: 1.45€). There are also some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The landlord is very kind and provides a lot of information about Venice and tips for sightseeing and restaurants. The accommodation itself was very clean, especially the shared bathroom. There was a daily room service that made the beds. The air conditioning kept the room at a pleasant temperature even on hot days. Unfortunately, the apartment is extremely noisy, so it is advisable to bring earplugs. The price includes a small breakfast. Unfortunately, this only contained packaged products, as B&Bs are probably not allowed to provide an open breakfast. Nevertheless, we had a good time and can definitely recommend the accommodation!

My partner and I stayed one night at this property and I must admit we were sorry to stay such a short time. What we appreciated most was the host's welcome: we really felt at home. The gentleman was extremely helpful, as well as very cultured and kind; he gave us various information and little insider tips about Venice, extremely useful recommendations without which we probably would not have been able to appreciate the real Venice in such a short time. The property is very easy to reach, practically less than 5 minutes from Venezia Mestre station, from which you can reach Venice by train or bus in very little time without any stress. Nearby there are also supermarkets, restaurants (especially Chinese cuisine), bars — in short it's real convenience in every way. The shared bathroom, which might seem an obstacle, was actually perfectly managed and was not a problem at all. The property is clean, bright and equipped with every necessary item (even makeup remover pads); there is also a fully equipped kitchen. We absolutely recommend staying at Romantica Venezia. Very convenient location to go to Venice by train, really available and caring host. Acceptable cleanliness, quiet area. There is a double room and a triple room (one double bed and one single bed), we were a group of 5 people so it was perfect because we didn't have to share the bathroom with strangers. We were very pleased with our stay in Mestre at "B&B Romantica Venezia". Mr. Giorgio is very hospitable. He met us on time and provided all the explanations to visit Venice. Positive side: the price corresponds to the quality, the train station is a 5-minute walk away. In compliance with the law, which Giorgio scrupulously follows, the breakfasts are all 'industrial' in packaging. The owner still provides a fully equipped kitchen. There is a supermarket near the house. I would like the sink tap in the bathroom to be repaired and for the bathroom to be cleaned more thoroughly (because there were hairs under the rug on the floor and the bidet had not been cleaned). But these are minor notes to make the structure better.

Extremely convenient structure because it is close to the station, excellent for those who need to go to Venice. In particular, it has 2 free parking spaces (not owned but generally available), right next to the structure. In the worst case, there are numerous paid parking spaces at 80 cents per hour. Numerous restaurants and bars in the area, spoilt for choice. The owner was very nice and kind, he prepared and illustrated to us with a map in hand a list of things to see, where to go, where to eat and tips on how to save even on transport. He made himself available for every need at any time even after check-in for any requirement. The breakfast is plentiful, packaged snacks, rusks, jams, Nutella, cereals, barley, milk, coffee, herbal teas, fruit juices, etc. The structure and the furniture are a bit dated but everything is neat and clean. The only downside is the shared bathroom. It still went well for us because the other room was empty.

We spent 2 nights at the very kind and friendly Mr. Giorgio who welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism, illustrating, map in hand, in great detail, a 2-day tour of beautiful Venice. The property is very close to Mestre station and after a 10-minute train ride we were already on the vaporetto heading to San Marco. We had a truly beautiful weekend.

I start by saying that Mr. Giorgio, an excellent host, welcomed us very well (even though we had forgotten to call him 20 minutes before our arrival) and above all explained how to move around, which places to visit, the restaurants, etc. \nIdeal if you are looking for a simple, clean, and quiet place to rest after seeing the wonderful Venice. \nClose to the station, many restaurants and various shops. \nWe highly recommend it, you will not regret it.

Room of adequate size and very clean structure. The manager provided me with many useful tips for visiting Venice and I appreciated the availability to keep the luggage until the evening. It is close to the station, bars, and restaurants.

The structure is a bit dated (although I believe foreigners appreciate it, as it closely resembles what one imagines an Italian home to be like abroad) and the breakfast is a bit anonymous (more due to legislation than choice), but having said that, we can only speak well of it. The house is clean, has everything one needs and more, you have access to the kitchen, and the location makes you forget the regret of not being able to find a room in Venice at an affordable price: close to buses, the station (very frequent trains), supermarket, restaurants, etc. The area is multicultural and safe: even returning late at night, we never had anything to fear. The icing on the cake is the host, who is a wealth of information that I highly recommend taking into account because it helps avoid much of the stress that a visit to a city like Venice could create (I won't say more, so it's just us, Giorgio's guests, who know the best tips). In short, a positive experience all around, including the price.

La struttura è volutamente datata, era la casa dei miei suoceri e tutto li dentro ha una sua propria energia. The property is very comfortable, very close to Mestre station. It is very easy to reach Venice from the station with a train every 10 minutes. We were two during Carnival and we had a great time. In addition, we were well advised by the owner on everything: restaurants, places to visit, means of transport, curiosities about Venice. Really highly recommended. The house is simple and clean, nothing to add.

Everything ok. Old-fashioned apartment but well maintained and very clean. The manager is very kind. Being the B&B less than 3 minutes from the station, you are in Venice in a quarter of an hour. If you are looking for luxury, go elsewhere, if you are looking for a quiet and clean place to sleep and have breakfast, this is the place for you.

For me it was a nice experience at the B&B Romantica Venezia of Giorgio: we were really welcomed well and seriously, not only he gave us the keys and the basic notions of how the B&B works (as it had already happened to me in other places in Europe), but he also suggested how to move around, what to avoid and how to make the most of our day in Venice. Furthermore, he was always available, via messages and calls, to answer all our doubts. The room was clean, spacious (the triple), warm and I always found it in impeccable order; living with the other tenants was not unpleasant at all, considering that the bathroom and kitchen were shared. I always found the bathroom clean and tidy; the only "inconvenience" maybe are the bathroom shifts, but it wasn't a problem so relevant in the end. I really recommend this place.

Great location, bus 200 meters away and train 500 meters away. The manager is very helpful even with unexpected issues, you can tell he cares. The kitchen is convenient and allows for flexibility in solutions. The only downside is the shared bathroom (although always clean) for three rooms which forces shifts. Fortunately, we found guests with whom there were no issues. I recommend it.

The location of the structure is excellent for those who want to stay as tourists. The bus stop is right outside, the station is a 10-minute walk away, very close to the center of Mestre. Mrs. Marina, who manages the B&B Romantica Venezia, is very kind and helpful, and her advice on when and how to visit is excellent. Overall, it was a great experience. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the station. The structure is very clean and the bathroom, although shared, is large and equipped with the necessary personal hygiene products. There is also a washing machine! You can use the kitchen to prepare lunches or dinners. For example, we had lunch at home, saving money. The manager is very helpful and kind and will give you lots of information to help you navigate and experience Venice. We had a great time and I feel like recommending it.

Our stay was fully satisfied based on our needs but also based on our ideas of stay. Unfortunately, it was brief, but during the New Year period, the quality price ratio and convenience in location and nearby services were excellent. Giorgio is a wonderful person who transmits to you his passion implicit in his activity. We would not know what more to say because his site or blog is perfectly complete and personally reading what he describes and finding it perfectly in what is present in the structure is very important in these times where contacts are made by email or through sites.
