I stayed at B&B for three nights in May. The location of the B&B is excellent, walking distance to San Marco, Rialto, and very close to Accademia. The decor is a bit worn but still good value for money. The hosts are very friendly, they met me at the vaporetto stop when I arrived, and organized for a light breakfast in my room on my last morning when I had to leave early. Highly recommended.

Clara is very kind and helpful. She met us at the water bus stop and walked with us to the B&B. Breakfast was traditional Italian and very delicious. Please try one of her delicious cappuccinos. She provided us a map and answered our questions. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

A Le Boteghe is a nice B&B perfectly located near Santo Stefano square. One can reach San Marco square, Rialto bridge or Academia in 10 minutes from here. The hosts Clara and Giordano are very kind, they informed us about sightseeing and helped with any trouble. The room was clean with all conveniences: shower, conditioner, fridge, TV, WiFi. However, the stone floor became cold in the cold rainy weather. The breakfast was good with croissants and cappuccino. Also, there were fruits, yogurts, cornflakes, and juice. Moreover, it's a cheap accommodation in Venice with an advantageous location. Finally, I enjoyed being here.

Great B&B! The host/owner Clara was very gracious and helpful, the room was spacious and elegant, and the location was perfect! Venice is an expensive city but I thought it was a great price for the location and quality. The room was very clean and well-presented. The breakfast was not gourmet but all the baked goods and fruit were fresh and Clara handmade a large selection of coffee drinks. We had a tour early in the morning before the breakfast time and Clara made us up a plate the night before! We were also able to leave our luggage there after checkout and then come back and use the restroom before our flight. Only thing to note is if you have trouble with stairs it's not a good place for you. All around really great!

I give the property a low rating for the following reasons. 1. Nowhere was it mentioned that it was on the 3rd floor of the building and you had to climb stairs lugging a suitcase. I am traveling for 4 weeks and no matter how light you pack, you still need clothes for 4 weeks. 2. The air conditioning did not work; it would come on for a few minutes and then go off. The owner admitted they've had the problem for some time and are unable to rectify it. 3. There was no wifi, and despite informing the owner, she just shrugged it off. The people who took the room across from us were also unhappy about it. Because there was no wifi, I did not get any info about the cancellation of my booking in Florence and ended up there without a room for the night, which was stressful. 4. Breakfast was yogurt brought in her hand and said, choose from this. Why can't it be left on the table and you pick what you want. Nobody is going to eat more than one. Everything was one. One chocolate croissant, one apricot croissant. But hard rolls were 2 apiece. Please ensure that air conditioning and Wi-Fi are removed from this listing as they are not available. Please mention stairs to climb. The receipt had no mention of the name of the establishment. It's an ordinary handwritten one. Ensure owners are honest. The room was nice and spacious. But the shower was tiny, and no soap tray in the shower. You had to reach out to the washbasin to get it. I only chose this Bnb because a friend said it was nice... but it definitely was not. Also, if GPS directions are given, the property can be reached easily. I had to use a hotel phone to call her after we arrived and wait in the pouring rain. As they insisted they would pick us up. How can we confirm the time of arrival if there are delays? We always plan in good faith to be on time, but if you are dependent on trains that run late, what do you do?

We collect your observation about the lack of elevator, which we will clarify in the description of our B&B. We regret that there have been problems with the air conditioning system which was repaired in that afternoon and already from the day after your arrival was efficient. Also sorry for the wi-fi system that was reset by Clara and returned immediately effective. We also like to clarify the error regarding the receipt, error that unduly prompts you to doubt about our honesty: the receipts of our B&B are in duplicate, one of which remains in our archives; all the receipts that make up a booklet are previous beforehand printed one-by-one but it is possible that your receipt escape to the stamping: if You warned us in that moment, we would put immediatly the missing stamp. We are a simple bed and breakfast not an hotel! Clara & Giordano.

B&B A Le Boteghe was a really wonderful place to stay during our time in Venice. In terms of location vs price, I don't think you could ask for a better deal. It's a short walk away from both Piazza di San Marco and the Basilica, the Ponte di Rialto and the Ponte dell'Accademia which made getting around really simple and also gave us a base to return to when we needed a rest. With a Traghetto stop literally around the corner, you can also cross the Grand Canal without needing to wade through the San Marco crowds around the Rialto, and at the cost of only 2 Euros a head, it's a really worthwhile experience (far better value for money than a Gondola!). It's an incredibly well-priced B&B for its pretty central location in San Marco. It was also very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but more than sufficient, and the host Clara was lovely. She was always willing to answer questions about where we should go and what we should see during breakfast in the mornings, and we were incredibly grateful for her offering to come and meet us at the Vaporetto stop when we first arrived. We'd definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for somewhere central that offers excellent value for money!

Clara and Giordano could not be better hosts. The experience that I shared with my little boy is one to be treasured for a lifetime. The stay in Venice was splendid. We were on top of everything because of the location of the B&B A Le Boteghe, and our hosts really helped us to get around providing knowledge of the area, route maps, etc. I have only positive things to say about Venice and our hosts. The reason I score 8 for breakfast is because while the choice is varied, there is nothing hot. Thank you. Hope to visit again x.

A Le Boteghe is a beautiful old Venetian building which is well situated 10 minutes walk from Saint Mark's square and the Rialto bridge. It's also situated right beside a lovely square - St. Stefano's where you can sit with a coffee or glass of wine. The rooms are quiet and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was simple but adequate and the owner helpful and pleasant. A lovely place to stay.

Very nice and clean room at a good price. Breakfast is served in the common room, in classic Italian style and rich with fresh pastries. The location in Venice is perfect for exploring the city and yet it is quiet. The only small drawback is the third floor without an elevator, which can be tiring for people with a lot of luggage. We will gladly come back anytime.

Even before our arrival, the communication was very pleasant, we were picked up from the pier, - I can only recommend everyone to accept the offer, unless you are familiar with the city. The location of the accommodation is optimal, the rooms are spacious and spotless.

The first thing to highlight is its privileged location, 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge and 5 minutes from the Accademia Bridge from which you can reach the Dorsoduro area. Clara, very attentive, indicated to us in the booking email how to get to the accommodation and waited for us at the vaporetto stop to take us to the B&B. She serves breakfast herself, with a very good cappuccino. The room is large, with a large double bed and in our case an extra bed for the child. Very comfortable and everything very clean. Perhaps in the bathroom a bit of maintenance would be needed, one of the shower supports was missing and the mirror was somewhat worn at the upper corners, but nothing major. Free WIFI that works perfectly. Clara recommended the Rosa Rosa restaurant-pizzeria for dinner, very close to the B&B, we were delighted, the pizzas were delicious. A very good place to stay in Venice and at a good price compared to the accommodations in the city.

Spacious, tidy, and clean room. Exceptional location, 50 meters from Campo San Domenico, with a restaurant and bar right at home. Comfortable and clean bathroom. Breakfast (rich and varied) is served in the dining room of this beautiful palace, right in front of the splendid window richly adorned with flowers and various plants. Truly a beautiful place... "far" from the city chaos just enough not to hear noise while resting. The square in front, but let's call it campo as the Venetians like... is always cheerful and full of people. Nearby is the "Accademia" stop for the water taxi. Mrs. Clara welcomes you from the check-in with her smile and elegance, ready to give you tips and advice on how to move and what to see without waiting in long lines. Very accommodating with various requests from guests, you can leave your luggage without problems even after check-out, she even lets you use a service toilet in the hallway even if you are no longer her guest. There are many little details, but those who travel know well how important they are... Exceptional location Maximum attention for guests. Availability and courtesy Very good breakfast Clean room and bathroom. What more could you ask for? Rating 9. I don't give 10 only because there is no support, no shelf... in the shower and you don't know where to put the little soap bottle without it falling to the ground :) Well done Mrs. Clara.

B&B A Le Boteghe is a little gem. Strategic location, a stone's throw from all that matters in Venice. Extremely clean and tastefully decorated spaces. Spacious room with attention to detail. Rich and quality breakfast. A thank you to the owner who pampered us and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back.

The only negative note is Kitchen closed. Usually in B&Bs the kitchen is always available to guests who can make a coffee or a herbal tea at any time, in some you can even cook.

Le ricordiamo che la più recente Legge sul Turismo della Regione Veneto, non prevede l'uso della cucina per gli ospiti dei B&B, nè consente di servire cibi preparati o manipolati in casa. Nel nostro sito sono elencati tutti i prodotti freschi e confezionati che serviamo giornalmente durante la colazione. Comunque, le ricordo, che per soddisfare la sua richiesta di poter avere una tisana alla sera, le abbiamo fornito il bollitore, le tazze e le tisane/camomilla. After being here for the first time 2 years ago, this has become our reference point every time we visit Venice. The hospitality, cleanliness, and kindness are excellent, not to mention the abundant breakfast. The place is very quiet and very close to St. Mark's Square.

A structure I would recommend to anyone. The only downside is the absence of the elevator, which could be very welcome after walking around the city of Venice without using public transport.

The structure is located in a convenient position to reach the main destinations of Venice. Just a few minutes from the vaporetto stop, the B&B A Le Boteghe is well managed by the helpful Mrs. Clara. The room is spacious, bright, clean, with a new bathroom. Not charming but still nice. I recommend this structure and I would return.
