Nestled in the green hills of Torricelle, Alla Fontana del Ferro is a short walk from the historic center, giving the impression of being in the country: 600 mt from Roman Theatre and Ponte Pietra, 1. 5 km from Piazza Erbe and via Mazzini, 2 km from Piazza Bra and the Arena.

Close enough to the center to be able to move by foot, but far enough to guarantee you a peaceful rest after a busy day of sightseeing
Our recently renovated rooms, are located on ground floor, and each one has:

As during 2018 the property will be going through renovation works inolving the exterior of a nearest building, part of the garden and of the parking lot will not be available. During this period you may experience minor disturbances on weekdays between 8. 00 and 16. 00. During weekends and holidays works will be stopped, so you will have no disturb at all.

Despite the closure of the parking lot, we have some availability of parking in the garden. Please specify at booking time if you need parking: availability is subject to confirmation on a first-come, first-served bases. We will confirm availability by email.

A lovely setting, away from the centre, you get some real peace and quiet here from the tourist crowds in the old town. The room was nice, but very dated, with items like the TV useless for those who aren't Italian speakers (terrestrial channels only and not a smart TV to allow casting). Lastly, despite the neatness and cleanliness of the rooms, there is a strong smell of cats as you enter the lobby and in the room itself.

Good location, within easy walking distance of the town center. Comfortable room, and nice to have a coffee machine to use. Parking available, which is good. My only complaint is that there was no fresh bread for breakfast, but there is a bakery not far away. Check-in and check-out were very well organized.

An establishment with many cottages, well maintained, very clean. In a beautiful garden, very quiet on the hills of Verona. Only small drawback: not really close to the city center if you are on foot.

Breakfast is typically Italian, with only sweet items. If you don't like this, you have to take care of yourself. Otherwise, you can make tea, coffee (instant coffee) anytime. There are also cornflakes, milk, fruit nectar, and apples.

The Fontana del Ferro was a pleasant discovery, to be absolutely considered for future trips in the Veronese region. The instructions for self check-in are very clear, providing the possibility to arrive at the property even at slightly inconvenient times. The location is equipped with many comforts, rooms with spacious bathrooms, with everything needed for breakfast in the room such as a well-stocked refrigerator, coffee machine, and disposable tableware. Bathroom equipped with a hairdryer and towels of all sizes, including black ones that can be used for makeup removal. Each room has its own personal outdoor space with table and chairs. The property has a laundry room with detergents and everything needed for ironing. The rooms are well soundproofed and equipped with mosquito nets and shutters. TV and air conditioning are available. Great stay, relaxing. Definitely recommended!

Excellent! The property is surrounded by greenery, in a very quiet area not far from the center, which, leaving the car in the internal parking, can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes or by bus, the nearest stop of which is about 600 meters away. The road to reach it is uphill in the last few hundred meters, which are not easy to walk when carrying luggage. The managers are very welcoming and discreet; the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. Very positive experience, definitely worth repeating.

Splendid location, quite close to the center and in an excellent position for walks on the walls. Very clean, equipped with every comfort, very comfortable beds. The breakfast, even if not included, is of decent quality.

The structure is very beautiful and so is the location. Good value for money. The two negative points I found were: the lack of practicality in the booking method and the strong presence of humidity in the room, especially in the bathroom. They should install dehumidifiers.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast with a good quality/price ratio. Room with all the comforts and excellent cleanliness. Bed and Breakfast located in a very quiet area just a few minutes from the center. You can use the parking inside the property.

Great B&B in the old part of Verona, not far from the city center. You can reach it with a pleasant twenty-minute walk (you pass by the old bridge, splendid view). We stayed in the red room, cozy. The latex mattress was comfortable, and there was a small kitchenette with a microwave oven and everything you need (dishes, cutlery, plates, etc.). The fireplace was beautiful and romantic. There was a parking space in front of the room. The B&B is inside a splendid garden. Too bad we found bad weather. In conclusion, we had a very good experience overall, much more than in a hotel. When we return to Verona, we will gladly come back here.

The structure is in an excellent location, 3 km from the center. Regarding my stay, I was very happy because I used the disabled room with an equipped bathroom. The only observation is for the bathroom mirror, which is too high for those in a wheelchair; they cannot see themselves, so it would be necessary to lower it. For the rest, very good.
