The host Giacomo was very welcoming and friendly. The house was very cosy and we felt very welcome. We received great restaurant recommendations and local tips too. Would definitely recommend. Nice quiet location but not too far to walk around the whole city.

Such a lovely stay! The location is lovely and you feel very much nestled in the neighbourhood. Staying at La Sensa was a highlight of our trip and very much made our trip to Venice amazing.

The accommodation takes 25-30 minutes from the main station. The house is almost a host's private home. The bathroom was shared and the air conditioner had to keep the exhaust out of the window, so we always had the windows open. It was too loud and it didn't get cool at all. The kitchen was far from clean. Also, there was a mini bar on the street right in front, so it was very noisy until midnight. The host was nice, but if you really care about the guests, you had better set them up for a relaxing environment.

Giacomo is the most fantastic host I have had the pleasure to meet so far in the shared economy. I am hesitant to praise him too much, as I hope to go back soon, and I would not want to be unable to, due to overbooking. He is extremely generous and I had a wonderful time learning about Venice through our discussions. Location was also fantastic for me. Exactly what I wanted.

Chambre à Cannaregio at La Sensa with Giacomo who lives in the room next door. Sdb used only by the guests. A bit noisy in the evening because a restaurant is on the square right next door but nice view on a canal. Near Vaporetto, restaurants and bars.

The house is located in a picturesque area, not very touristy, but a few minutes walk from the center. The room is spacious and bright. The bathroom, generous in size, is separate. The manager is very kind and ready to help when needed. However, the breakfast is a bit poor.

The room is spacious, overlooks a beautiful small square and, although the bathroom is external, it is for exclusive use. The included breakfast is not really sufficient, you can make yourself a coffee but there is not much else available. Giacomo was a very courteous and helpful host, as well as his dad, who warmly welcomed us upon our arrival.

At Giacomo's, availability and courtesy are guaranteed. It's the second time I come back to sleep at his place and once again it proved to be as precious as the first time. I highly recommend the La Sensa facility and hope to be able to visit him again soon. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful time - my wife, our two little girls and I. I recommend this B&B to everyone. If you want to experience a true Venice, without the suffocation of ordinary tourism, choose "I Mori". Giacomo, the owner, was splendid, welcoming, nice, generous, as Venetians know how to be. Thank you, we will return.
