Its strategic location makes it ideal for moving around the city using the vaporetto (Vaporetto San Toma' (Universita' Ca' Foscari), Vaporetto Sant'Angelo, Vaporetto Ospedale (Hospital), Vaporetto Sant'Alvise, Vaporetto Guglie (Jewish Ghetto), Vaporetto Riva di Biasio, Vaporetto San Silvestro, Vaporetto Rialto (Ponte di Rialto), Vaporetto Madonna dell'Orto, Vaporetto San Marcuola (Casino' Municipale), Vaporetto Fondamenta Nuove, Vaporetto San Stae (Chiesa di San Stae), Vaporetto Rialto - Mercato, Vaporetto Ca' D'oro, Vaporetto San Felice...).

The breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30 am. It is also possible, if you wish, to use the kitchen to have a tea, a coffee or to drink something after a long walk across Venice. During the summer season the breakfast is served in the garden. The breakfast offers fresh bread and croissants (they arrive every morning from a nearby bakery), juices, yogurts, typical venetian biscuits (buranei), marmalade, cheese, boiled eggs, cakes, cornflakes, muesli, salami, mortadella, cheese, season fruit, and of course, coffe, cappuccino, chocolate and several qualities of tea.

Great, convenient and quiet location away from tourist crowds. Comfortable beds and enough space in the room to hang clothing and store items. There was some confusion with our reservation — it all worked out, but I would recommend reminding the host of your dates close to arrival.

Fantastic stay for 2 nights! Loved the location on a beautiful canal near some great quieter streets and authentic restaurants. Mattia is wonderful and made us feel valued and welcome, giving a great itinerary for our days. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but overall we were very happy with our stay! Lovely communal area and garden - very charming.

Lovely hosts and very friendly staff. Breakfast was great, loved the variety and sitting in the beautiful garden/courtyard. Nice neighbourhood and fairly easy to walk to the main sites. We had stayed at 3749 Ponte Chiodo for two nights. Mattia was a very nice and helpful host, he taught us how to get around in Venice and he recommended us great traditional places for lunch and dinner. His B&B was clean, tidy and the breakfast was good.

We loved it... Room number 4. The owner's welcome and his advice, especially for the nearby restaurants. The location is quite close to the vaporetto and the main shopping street frequented by the Venetians themselves. The bedding and the decoration. The price, breakfast included. A little home away from home.

Address to know in Venice, it was perfect, close to the water buses of Murano, Burano, airport, shops. Small canal next to the house passing under our windows, host taking his time to inform us. Employee at our service with a lot of attention. Breakfast on a magnificent terrace when the weather is nice. Thanks to Matthia and his employee.

Correct room with no external noise but internal disturbance, being an old house with no soundproofing.\n\nNo daytime reception, the owner arrives in the morning, code to enter the courtyard with a box for the room keys.\n\nVery simple breakfast. The restaurant addresses provided are not always appropriate, to be checked.

It seemed that nothing was missing. The service was friendly and there was a lot of attention to detail. The abundant breakfast served in the garden, you could make tea/coffee by yourself, the owner was very helpful (he even let me leave my suitcase in the property after check-out so I could explore before catching the train). The room was small but clean and comfortable with air conditioning. I loved it so much.

After 3 days spent here I can say that as a quality/price ratio it's the best area in Venice. With the owner Mattia you immediately reach a familiar understanding. If we were to come back here we wouldn't have doubts about the structure to choose.

From Matteo excellent hospitality and especially great advice on how to make the most of our vacation. Useful information was provided on itineraries to follow for the city visit, suggestions on the best times to visit the sites, on some interesting places or palaces not widely promoted in tourist guides, and also useful advice on where to eat. Very convenient area, 3749 Ponte Chiodo is perfect. Aesthetically curated and very clean. The owner, a true Venetian, is very courteous and helpful, providing excellent advice about the city. We will definitely come back.
