We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location is great for heading into Assisi, and the grounds are gorgeous. We walked into Assisi twice during our stay; it’s a short walk up a hill to get to St. Francis’s Basilica. Endro was an extraordinarily gracious host! He gave us a ride to the home from the basilica by the train station and took us back at the end of our stay. He also provided us with a delicious and generous breakfast. It was a very quiet atmosphere without any street noise.

La Piaggia was a wonderful stay. Great parking lot behind the house, where I could safely park my motorcycle for two days. Just 600 meters from the San Francesco Door (walking). Great hosts, very clean and comfortable room, hot shower and beautiful view of the valley. Good breakfast and great cappuccino. Good cost-benefit ratio. Perfect stay, thank you!

Our stay was wonderful: the place has a wonderful town house charm with a beautiful view over the olive trees and surrounding hills. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and they allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot after the checkout for further sightseeing of Assisi, which is a short walk uphill. Absolutely recommended.

We only had one day in Assisi, but we wish we could have stayed at La Piaggia a little longer. A beautiful B&B at the foot of the hill just below the Monastery. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The property is a short walk to Assisi city center. The hosts were very kind and even drove me to the train station after my check-out. The breakfast included freshly baked cake and bread, definitely a highlight of my stay! Thank you again for the warm welcome and for the lovely stay!

Great location, you can reach Assisi on foot, but you have to undertake a rather steep climb and walk for about 20 minutes. The apartment is well-kept, there is also a small refrigerator. The gentleman is very kind and helpful for tourist information. Absolutely recommended.

Country house with a garden immersed in very well-kept and clean greenery, the staff was very welcoming giving us many tips on the surrounding places. The breakfast was super abundant and varied. The location is very favorable for visiting Assisi as it is located just a few hundred meters from the Basilica of Saint Francis. Overall, a great experience even if unfortunately for only one day.

The structure is in a strategic position just a few steps from Assisi, reachable on foot (very close to the pedestrian path) and central for reaching other locations, Spoleto, Spello, Narni, etc. It is located along the road, but despite this, it is quiet and you can rest well. There are no noises, well insulated even with the other rooms. The breakfast is excellent and abundant, just right, served by the manager with local or homemade products. It is worth noting. The manager is very courteous and helpful.

Very nice and well-kept property, easy to reach (it is on one of the main roads leading to Assisi). The property is surrounded by fields for outdoor activities lovers. The manager is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and served with local products. Ample parking. Recommended!

It was the first time we stayed at La Piaggia and we recommend it first of all for its very convenient location because you can reach the Basilica of San Francesco with a 20-minute walk, moreover the structure is surrounded by greenery and this ensures relaxation and tranquility! The room where we stayed was clean, simple but functional. The breakfast was abundant and with quality products both sweet and savory (the cakes were truly exceptional!). When we return to Assisi we will definitely choose La Piaggia!

Excellent location, very close to the Basilica of San Francesco and reachable on foot along a path. The room is very spacious. The breakfast is good and rich. A small suggestion would be to avoid having the TV on during breakfast: the beauty of the tranquility is disturbed and during the days we stayed, none of the guests, mostly foreigners, were interested. The paper tablecloths on the breakfast tables should be changed daily! I highly recommend the structure for the rest.

Located very close to the beginning of the ascent of the Piaggia di San Francesco, which leads to the center of Assisi, just below the basilica (reachable on foot). Well-kept structure, spacious rooms, well-furnished and very clean. Beautiful garden, also very well-kept, a nice lawn to sit in the shade of the olive trees and enjoy a beautiful panorama. Friendly and welcoming manager, abundant breakfast. Highly recommended!

In this magical place, you will certainly not be bored! Want to go to the basilica? Cross the street, walk along the slope, and there you are in front of the Basilica. Want to go to Santa Maria degli Angeli? By car, it takes about 10 minutes, or starting from the farmhouse on foot or by bike through fields full of sunflowers. Want to go to the woods of San Francesco? Just cross the street, and a world full of colors and nature opens up: I recommend wearing sportswear. And if you want, you can also reach San Damiano through another path that always starts from the farmhouse.

Great facility and great hospitality! Beautiful because you can leave your car and reach the basilica in a 15-minute uphill walk that makes you appreciate the beauty of Assisi even more. In the facility, you breathe tranquility among the olive trees and the greenery of Umbria.

We stayed at this property from the 8th to the 11th of August. The B&B is very nice. The room is clean and spacious. Abundant and quality breakfast. The welcome was excellent. The price is absolutely competitive for the period and location. 180€ for 3 nights for 2 people. Very well-kept garden, with hammock, tables, and loungers for a relaxing afternoon. Ample parking. Definitely recommended.

Excellent location for those who enjoy pleasant walks both to reach the Basilica of San Francesco and Santa Maria degli Angeli through paths immersed in the characteristic Umbrian nature. Very comfortable and clean structure; the manager is a helpful and welcoming person who gave us useful directions on the routes to follow and on the city's restaurants. Abundant breakfast in a family context. A B&B definitely to recommend!

Great relationship with Mr. Endro (the manager). I have read other not high ratings regarding breakfast. It is a perfect Italian breakfast. Certainly, do not expect scrambled eggs and bacon. We are in the heart of our beautiful Italy where at most it is called pancetta and not bacon. Highly recommended location to go to Assisi. It is located at the foot of La Piaggia of St. Francis. Just be well trained and after 600 meters of ascent, you are on the Basilica square.

My son and I stayed here and Mr. Endro has always been courteous and helpful. The structure is comfortable and a short walk from the Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi. On occasion, I would definitely return.
