Our B&B is placed at San Gimignano art and culture location, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in the historic heart of the city. "Villa Alba" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, a building of the past where the magic of history blends with modern amenities.

Perfect place to relax after the Via degli Dei. A short walk from the daytime hustle and bustle of the walled town of San Gimignano, which is a plus. I loved the furnishings and the peaceful garden areas. It would be 10/10 for location if it had more extensive views. That said, I wouldn't look anywhere else if I return to San Gimignano. Vila Alba exceeded our expectations.

Parking on the premises. The hosts provided good must-see tips. It is a five-minute walk to the old town center. The rooms and kitchen were clean. The rooms have a classic style consistent with the age of the villa, firm mattresses, and extra pillows available.

We had a nice stay here, conveniently located within walking distance to the antique village of San Gimignano. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning did not work as well as we needed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent.

Great accommodation ideally located to walk into San Gimignano and as a base to explore the local area. Piero was a welcoming host and we must also mention Laura who served us a wonderful breakfast each morning and gave us lots of helpful tips and information about the local area. She really made our stay extra special. We would certainly stay here again for sure.

Villa Alba is lovely. The rooms and the whole property have heaps of character. Very Italian. You feel like you are in your own home. Swimming pool very good. Breakfast service amazing. Location right by the main town, 10-minute walk to the Old Town. Next door was a shop as well. Just loved this BNB and I am sure everyone will too. Amazing.

Nice building but not very well maintained. Cleaning also leaves something to be desired. Good and plentiful breakfast with a wide choice. The person in charge of breakfast very kind and helpful. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere by the pool.

This is a lovely place to stay. Piero and Laura and their family are very welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated throughout and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a useful communal kitchen with a fridge. It has a nice garden with a pool. The breakfast was lovely and included the owner's homemade jams. San Gimignano was a short walk away, a very interesting and beautiful town with delicious food and wine.

Beautiful villa close to this delightful Tuscan town. It is a steep walk up to the town but everything is easily reachable. The hosts are absolutely delightful, breakfast is nice, and as a bonus, the owner also runs a restaurant in the town. We would love to stay there again.

This property was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to be in walking distance of S. Gimignano, but with a swimming pool and private parking. The room was comfortable, so were the beds, and there was a good shower. There was a small kitchen with a balcony for lunch or dinner, and tea and coffee to make at any time. Plenty of outside space with garden seats for a quiet drink in the evening. The pool was big enough to swim in, with loungers around. A gentle stroll took us into town, with plenty of restaurants, shops and gelaterias, and lots of history and breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was the same each day, but always croissants, bread, toast, home made jams, juice, tea or coffee, home cured hams and local cheese, yogurts and cereals. Hosts were friendly and helpful - definitely recommended.

We enjoyed our visit to San Gimigiano and Villa Alba. Pietro, Mona & Tamara were wonderful! They were the perfect hosts. We spent much time at the villa, their accommodations were perfect and close to the city center. We were also able to prepare our Pasta with Pesto in the kitchen. We also enjoyed eating at their restaurant in the city. We look forward to a visit next year with more family! Ciao! Troy, Sherry, Lisa & Troy.

Pleasant and calm setting, close to the center within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is very varied and complete (cold cuts, cheese, fruit, etc...). With the arrival of autumn (humidity and freshness), heating would have been welcome, as towels remain wet from one day to the next. The decoration is nice but leaves little room for storage. The welcome is a bit cold and impersonal.

Charming place, 5 minutes walking from San Gimignano. Laura and her husband are super attentive and very kind. The B&B is a "10" in all aspects, especially the breakfast, super abundant and of very good quality! We will return.

A lovely place in the heart of Tuscany, a short walk from the center of San Gimignano. Excellent beds and pillows! Not at all obvious, and in fact we slept very well. A good breakfast with Piero's fantastic salami and many other treats served with the kindness of the very nice Ms. Laura. There is also a lovely pool where you can relax! Thank you for the hospitality and for the wonderful weekend.

We had a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and ready to solve any small issues. The location is strategic. Absolute independence in entering and exiting the facility. Internal parking, you can reach the center on foot in five minutes. The breakfast is amazing! The cured meats are exceptional. The shared kitchen space is convenient for families. If I return to San Gimignano, I will undoubtedly rebook at this facility.

Somewhat dated property a short walk from the center of San Gimignano. The owner seen once for commitments but it was not a problem given how positively we were followed by Asmitha. Good breakfast, but it would have been really great with more homemade products. Indeed excellent the savory breakfast. Recommended!

My son and I stayed for two nights at Villa Alba! We had a great time! Very nice room, close to the city center within walking distance in a few minutes and the friendliness and courtesy of the managers. Moreover, the property has a beautiful pool, very much appreciated! And last but not least, a delicious and abundant breakfast! Highly recommended property.

We stayed for two nights with our dog, who was welcomed very well. Villa Alba is very beautiful, well kept in detail and clean. The owners and staff were super helpful and caring with every guest present. It is excellent for its location, as it is a stone's throw from the center of San Gimignano and can be easily reached on foot without having to take the car. Internal parking. Overall quiet environment and good breakfast, fresh typical food.

Continuing our tour of central Italy, we chose Villa Alba as the starting point to visit the area. We stayed for 2 nights in this bed and breakfast located about a 10-minute walk from Villa Alba. I want to emphasize the extreme proximity to an excellent grocery store and typical products. Spacious and clean room, fairly comfortable bed. Fairly recent bathroom with good quality courtesy kit. Wi-Fi available, a small TV, and a fridge in the kitchen located on the same floor as the room. Quiet and peaceful stay. The decor is characterized by floral patterns and colors that reflect the name of the room. Indoor parking. The garden is very pleasant, with chairs, tables, a rocking chair, and the pool area with a whirlpool. The pool loungers are reserved per room, much appreciated. Unfortunately, ours were in the sun only during the hottest hours, but you can move them compatibly with the distances from other guests. The staff is kind and helpful as well as the owners. The best breakfast of the whole tour! Wide choice of sweet and savory foods and cold and hot drinks to be ordered the day before for the next day on a special card. Also in the breakfast room (absolutely fantastic and carefully designed in every detail!), the table is always the same and reserved for the room. If available, ask for rooms with a balcony to eventually hang swimsuits and towels.

We stayed with my daughter for a weekend. Very nice structure, well maintained, excellent cleanliness and the pool is a gem that made our stay special. The owners are very kind. We suggest advancing the breakfast time by half an hour.

An excellent facility from all points of view: rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, swimming pool, parking, distance from the center of San Gimignano, and last but not least the kindness of the managers and their friendliness. Truly deserving. There is also a good word to be said for the affiliated restaurant: such a good Florentine steak is not easily found and the pici and/or pappardelle with those sauces are something delicious for the palate.

Even though my husband and I stayed for two nights, we had a great time, especially thanks to the very comfortable bed, considering my husband's back issues. Excellent comfort, just 5 minutes away from the historic site of San Gimignano. Clean environment following safety regulations, quiet atmosphere, perfect climate. Lots of kindness and availability.

We found the only accommodation in the province and surroundings that accepted the holiday bonus for 80%. The property is located just below San Gimignano, close to the parking lots for the historic center. The pool is decent, a bit dirty but the weather was bad. The room is standard in size, the breakfast excellent. They also accept dogs!

If you want to go to a facility and feel at home, this is the perfect one. Courtesy to the nth power, unique availability both from the staff and the owners, truly exquisite people. The rooms are cared for in the smallest details, clean and tidy, something never seen before. Super abundant breakfast and of excellent quality, 5 minutes walk from the center, what more could you want from life. We really enjoyed our stay in this facility and it will surely be our favorite location when we return to Tuscany.

A pleasant stay at Villa Alba, a beautiful structure managed with sympathy and courtesy by Simona and Piero, two exquisite people, as well as the lady who took care of breakfast (whose name we unfortunately do not know). Fantastic jams prepared by Simona and served with breakfast! The location is ideal for walking to the center of San Gimignano without worrying about parking (10 minutes). Interesting the possibility of having half board, dining at the La Stella restaurant with an excellent quality/price ratio. The pool with whirlpool allows for a nice moment of relaxation after a day spent visiting the many places in the surroundings.

Breakfast is served at the table after filling out 2 pages of choices ranging from aged Tuscan ham for over 3 years (and you can feel it... too good!), bruschettas, omelettes, brioches, tarts, crepes, fruit, fruit salad, yogurt etc. Lovely pool with whirlpool equipped with sun loungers, tables, chairs and a gazebo with relaxation area. About 300 meters from the center of San Gimignano... I will return!

Beautiful villa with few but well-kept rooms, close to the historic center. In the morning, you can visit the beautiful nearby villages and in the afternoon relax by the pool. Simona and Piero are very kind and helpful, Tamara is very nice, and the breakfast is super abundant. I would go back.

Mi dispiace molto che lei non abbia visto il giardino di Villa Alba nella stagione primaverile. Io curo personalmente l' esterno e la faccio con tanta passione. Purtroppo quest'anno è stato un inverno con neve, pioggia e molto vento e purtroppo le piante ne hanno risentito. Con il prolungarsi della brutta stagione non è stato possibile curare il giardino più di tanto - Comunque io avrei molto piacere se in futuro lei potesse tornare a Villa Alba in piena stagione e vedere il glicine e i gelsomini in fiore, le piante degli agrumi con i frutti, gli iris, le ortensie, i gerani sbocciati e tutto il giardino con la piscina arredati per la stagione. A truly pleasant two-night stay, cozy room with balcony as promised, pleasant garden and pool, good breakfast in a delightful tavern, very convenient parking and excellent proximity to the center of San Gimignano, within walking distance. Courtesy and hospitality of the owner. Also excellent the La Stella Restaurant, affiliated, where we had lunch and dinner, with an excellent quality-price ratio.

Excellent place; the structure has a parking lot which is very important due to its proximity to the center. Piero, the manager, is helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is abundant and rich, including cold cuts and Tuscan pecorino cheese.

My mother and I had a really great time: Villa Alba is beautiful and very welcoming, in a very convenient area both for its proximity to San Gimignano and for parking. The managers are always available and very kind, they offered us a dreamy breakfast.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful liberty villa, just outside San Gimignano. Thoughtful welcome and attentive and available hospitality. The house restaurant, La Stella, in the village, is worth trying for excellent Tuscan cuisine.

My wife and I went ahead, then our daughter, her husband, and two children arrived for the wedding on Saturday. We were guests for a few days at this establishment and I can only confirm what many have already said: a very helpful family, Mrs. Gabriella for breakfast is very friendly and nice and everything is always at its best. If we return to that area, we will definitely go there.

At the beginning of September, we spent three wonderful days at Mr. Piero's B&B, chosen thanks to the internet without knowing him among the many in San Gimignano, for the evident convenience of parking, the close proximity to the historic center, and the tranquility of the place. The owner proved to be a reserved, honest, courteous, and pleasant person with us (without being sycophantic, I do not know if you understand me, I mean not just appearance). The parents and the lady in charge of breakfast were also nice people, it was as if they had known us forever. The villa is really nice; private parking in the shade; a swing in the garden; abundant and varied breakfast; romantic, cool, and well-ventilated room thanks to the two windows. And as if all this were not enough: a fantastic swimming pool with a hydromassage area and free sun loungers. The best money I have ever spent in my life.

I discovered this quiet and lovely B&B through an online search for B&Bs in San Gimignano. After reading the description of the property and seeing the photos on the website, I immediately liked it and booked. I can affirm to those who will read my review that the B&B is an excellent property recently renovated, with tastefully and carefully furnished rooms, each different from the others. It also has a swimming pool. There is the possibility to park the car and walk to the center, which is about 300 meters away. The next morning, we had an excellent breakfast with warm croissants but especially with exquisite ham. I also want to highlight the excellent welcome and kindness of Mr. Piero and his mother. I have no complaints about the price, which I consider appropriate. I take this opportunity to extend a cordial greeting.

We stayed in Tuscany to celebrate New Year's Eve. Already on the phone, talking to the owner Piero, he made a great impression on me. But when we arrived, we immediately felt a courtesy and a genuine and friendly hospitality that immediately won us over. Convenient parking. The rooms are very clean, welcoming, and above all beautiful. As soon as we entered the room, we found some very good typical Tuscan cookies (Brutti ma buoni, ricciarelli, tozzetti) with some very good vin santo. The breakfast then, there was an apple pie made by the lady, which was unbeatable. I think I have never eaten such a good apple pie, the ham was excellent. The manager Piero also has an excellent restaurant where they serve pappardelle with wild boar and very good Chianina meat! I recommend it without hesitation! Greetings and many compliments to this quality structure.

Delightful structure, spacious and very clean room. Excellent location just outside the walls, a few hundred meters on foot, with the possibility of parking at Villa Alba. Delicious and abundant breakfast, the ham is simply divine. Piero, the manager, is very kind and very nice. The price is fair. If I return, I know where to stop.
