The man who received us was very friendly and informative! He gave lots of tips on getting around town and even helped us save money by encouraging us to take the tram instead of the taxi to the airport. Didn't get his name but he was great! The property is a bit old but is located in a great place- close to the train and tram station and there are plenty of good food nearby. Overall, excellent service!

No lift, security codes and keys provided. More suitable for backpackers than families. The kettle can only be plugged in the socket in bathroom due to plug configuration. A/C couldn't be used but the window can be opened.

Najat was so friendly and helpful during the check-in and throughout my stay. The location is perfect (right between the train station and city center). As an American, I had never used this BnB service before, but Najat made it a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

A short walk to all the action, and a great place to stay in Florence! The host was wonderful. Very friendly and there to greet us. The room was very tidy and it gave you a great sense of what it would be like to live in the city. There was also a communal fridge and air conditioner which were very useful. Considering the position, time of year and room, the price wasn’t too bad, although it would have been great if breakfast was included. Thanks again! Absolutely loved our time in Florence.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the Easter weekend. Najat contacted me about our arrival time; she was very kind and helpful. The room was excellent, everything clean and in great condition. We had a small equipped kitchenette with coffee, tea, kitchen utensils and a refrigerator. The location was also ideal, close to the station and the historic center, both within walking distance. It was exactly what we needed. If we return to Florence, we would definitely choose it again. Before leaving, we were able to leave our luggage there until our afternoon train. Thank you very much for everything.

The property is old and unfortunately the cleanliness was disappointing. The en-suite bathroom is very small: the floor was dirty, water was leaking from the cistern above the toilet, and the shower was uncomfortable and dirty. One positive note is the location. It can be said that it is in a good area for visiting the main attractions.

We had a good stay. The place is well kept and clean. The only issue: the bathroom has no bidet, which we are used to, although we adapted without difficulty. The hosts are kind and helpful. We recommend it. For those traveling by train it is ideal: it is reachable on foot in 10 minutes and, being in the centre, you can visit the city on foot.

Overall I had a great stay. The B&B is close to Santa Maria Novella station but, despite being very central, it remains very quiet and peaceful. I would only have one 'issue' (if it can be called that): the lack of air conditioning made the heat very uncomfortable for me. If the room is hot, the fan only blows hot air and does not solve the problem. Apart from that, I had a great experience. I will definitely return to Florence and will consider staying at this B&B.

Renovated and new room. Very comfortable bed, new kitchenette and new bathroom, but everything is part of an old condominium. There is a smell of rotting wood and a gas boiler in the adjoining room, which is noisy. I have difficulty sleeping at night. You can also hear faint noises from the rooms next door.

Economy room, small as seen in the photo but with the necessary amenities for short stays of 1-2 nights. Friendly and welcoming staff. The strong point of the property is definitely the location, practically in the center, 10 minutes on foot from the cathedral and a few minutes from the station.

Good structure, strategic for those who want to visit the center of Florence. Clean room and in line with the photographs. The only notes to make: the sink in the small bathroom in the room is really small. Since there is no air conditioning, if you go in a very hot period, the fan provided is not enough to cool down.

The kindness of Najat was unparalleled. She welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. I really appreciated how she decided to assign us a better room than the one we had booked after a sudden cancellation. The area is super convenient for visiting the city and the room very clean. The host (Najat) was very hospitable. Very precise on requests for clarification about booking and payment. The property is located near the station and close to the city center and the central market in a fairly quiet area, very convenient. Breakfast was not included, but water, a teapot, instant coffee, and tea bags are left in the room. However, there are many bars in the area. The property is on the second floor without an elevator. The bathroom was in the room but without a bidet. The room is cleaned daily. After check-out, Najat was very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage in the property until the afternoon. Pietro.

The location of the property is very functional to reach both the station and the main destinations of Florence and the kindness of the manager are the most positive points of Soggiorno Venere. The cleanliness is good, with the tidying of the sheets, addition of toilet paper and daily emptying of the bins. Very comfortable bed with even more comfortable pillows. The studio offers the possibility to have breakfast with the moka and the stove, very convenient. The only flaw is that the room is not soundproofed, so if you are unlucky enough to find noisy and rude guests, you risk hearing all the noises (including those of the shared bathroom provided for other rooms). The only advice is to try to soundproof the studio to allow for a peaceful sleep. Overall, a more than positive experience.
