We had a fabulous stay at Locanda El Pino. The place was super cute, the room was charming and everything was very clean. It has lots of character. Everything worked well and the room was spacious with a well-functioning bathroom. We did not know what linen bath towels were at first, but we learned to love the ones provided. The location was incredibly convenient. It was literally steps from Porta San Matteo, where you can park your car for 15 minutes while you drop off your bags, and there is free parking further down the street/hill. The B&B is also located right in town and very close to restaurants and the main street. The location is very quiet at night. We did not eat at the restaurant because it was closed the day we were there, but breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and great service. Amazing coffee. Elena and Filippo were both fantastic, providing excellent service and good advice. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The inn is located within the city walls, near Porta San Matteo and the church of Sant'Agostino, so it is convenient for those arriving by car and excellent for visiting the city center. I appreciated the availability of early check-in at 11:30 and the possibility of enjoying an excellent dinner at the eponymous restaurant adjacent to the apartments. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I give this property top marks.

Great value for money! Property right in the centre, perfect for visiting San Gimignano. The staff were super kind and helpful. We greatly appreciated the little gift they left us for Valentine's Day.
