The breakfast is one of the most beautiful moments of my workday because its the one in which I can meet my guests. I love talking with them while the servant breakfast. I tell them of my land, my story and that of the places where I live and I give them all the information to spend a nice holiday. Starting the day with a nice breakfast makes you feel better and I've always thought this. First, because our breakfast is eaten in particular places, in the summer on the panoramic terrace and in the other seasons in the rooms of the old cellar where you can still smell the wine. This makes you to feel at home, leave a little sleepy from your room and you begin to feel the smell of freshly brewed coffee, find your buffet table laden and full of good and genuine things, a feast for the eyes and a pleasure for the palate. Good start to the day. Cakes and cookies all made by me (Laura) that are a delicious and I always like to experiment with new ones.

We stayed at the church's guesthouse in the parish of Sant'Innocenza. It is a sacred building, dating back to 1081, in Piana di Buonconvento.

Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni presso questa struttura, alloggiando in un ex convento molto suggestivo. Il personale è stato molto gentile e attento alle nostre richieste. La colazione ottima e abbondante. Torneremo in estate per provare anche la bellissima piscina.

Posizione di assoluto relax adatta a chi vuole godersi una vacanza di riposo; la colazione viene servita un pò tardi e questo non aiuta chi invece vuole godere delle prime ore del mattino per far movimento all'aria aperta. Troppe tettoie in eternit. Complessivamente una buona sistemazione.

La Ripolina è una struttura con poche camere e bisogna trovare il giusto tempo per accontentare la maggior parte dei nostri ospiti. Le 8:30, contrariamente alle sue abitudini molto mattiniere, sono un' ora improponibile per certi ospiti che amano riposarsi in vacanza. Sinceramente sarei curiosa di sapere le sue motivazioni relativamente alla votazione che ci ha dato, ma forse se deciderà di farci visita un'altra volta, visto che ci ha definiti una buona sistemazione, sarà lei stesso a spiegarmeli. La Ripolina si trova in un luogo molto bello vicino a Buonconvento. Posta sulla sommità di una collina la struttura è tenuta molto bene, vi si gode un'ottima accoglienza molto famigliare e attenta: sembra di andare a casa di vecchi amici! La signora, padrona di casa molto cara, ha saputo anche consigliarci itinerari piacevoli e molto interessanti. Oltre a un'ottima colazione fatta in casa che corrisponde alle immagini del sito, vi si può assaporare tutta la dolcezza del paesaggio toscano. Abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento ampio e ben arredato. Lo consiglio caldamente sia per soggiorni di coppia o con amici, sia per famiglie. Non mancano le possibilità di passeggiate a cavallo o itinerari in bicicletta. Se avrò l'opportunità tornerò sicuramente: è un'ottima base per scoprire una Toscana minore ma splendida e per nulla scontata! Il cielo stellato della notte completa il piacere delle giornate!

Sono tornato dopo 15 giorni sfuggendo per qualche ora alla vita quotidiana che non ti lascia più di tanto pensare. La sera mi sedevo sulla panchina a guardare il cielo, anzi le stelle, tante, troppe per chi come me è abituato a scorgerle appena dalla terrazza del condominio cittadino dove abito. Per godere di questo spettacolo è necessario venire qui, dove lo spazio infinito della valle che c'è di fronte senza luci, strade, case mi ha fatto pensare a quanto ci sia sopra di noi e non lo vediamo. Ma forse è utile avere anche un libro di astronomia che ci conduca alla scoperta del cielo. Per conoscere invece quanto di bello c'è alla Ripolina, chiedete a Mario e a Laura che vi guideranno alla scoperta di questo meraviglioso angolo di Toscana.

Accoglienza cordiale, discreta. struttura splendida in uno splendido contesto. relax assicurato. Unico neo, per le camere non prevede la cena, ma questo offre un pretesto per andare in paese e fare due passi anche lì.
