The breakfast is one of the most beautiful moments of my workday because its the one in which I can meet my guests. I love talking with them while the servant breakfast. I tell them of my land, my story and that of the places where I live and I give them all the information to spend a nice holiday. Starting the day with a nice breakfast makes you feel better and I've always thought this. First, because our breakfast is eaten in particular places, in the summer on the panoramic terrace and in the other seasons in the rooms of the old cellar where you can still smell the wine. This makes you to feel at home, leave a little sleepy from your room and you begin to feel the smell of freshly brewed coffee, find your buffet table laden and full of good and genuine things, a feast for the eyes and a pleasure for the palate. Good start to the day. Cakes and cookies all made by me (Laura) that are a delicious and I always like to experiment with new ones.

A very pleasant stay.

We spent 10 wonderful days at La Ripolina at the end of August. It is an enchanting place, located at the top of a hill and surrounded by nature and vineyards, which you will find if you are willing to drive approximately 4 kilometers off the main road. The view/panorama is spectacular, and your day will start with a breathtaking sunrise. You will find peace of mind in this quiet and beautiful place. We were welcomed and hosted by Laura and her daughters, and we are very thankful for the hospitality we received. The hosts will make you feel like at home; we also had the pleasure to eat our breakfasts there and dine a couple of times, where for a fair amount of money we could taste local specialties. Our apartment was styled in a simple yet aesthetic Tuscan style, it had a very comfortable bed and was equipped with everything you can think of when it comes to electronic devices (even a hair dryer) or kitchen devices. It was clean with plenty of space. Outside you will find a pool (approximately 10 x 4 meters), a playground for children, and many spots where you can relax in the sun or shade. Furthermore, within a radius of 30-35 kilometers you will find Montalcino, Siena, Pienza, and the stunning beauty of Val d'Orcia - just to name a few. This place is perfect if you want to spend your holiday both chilling by the pool and going on trips. We miss La Ripolina and her hosts, hope to visit her again in the future, and we can warmly recommend this beautiful place.

What a wonderful stay we had at La Ripolina. My husband, toddler and I stayed in La Conchiglia apartment and it was just perfect. A great kitchen with full size fridge and dining table, and housed in a wonderful old convent building. Very traditional, but not to the detriment of comfort. Despite no air conditioning, the apartment was a lovely escape from the heat outside. A fan was provided.\n\nLaura was a very pleasant host. Breakfast and the fresh cappuccino each morning was enough to make me feel Italian myself.\n\nThe pool is the cherry on top. It really is as nice as it looks in pictures. Be warned that from our apartment we didn’t feel we could walk to the pool as it was slightly too far (and hilly) for our toddler to navigate. But in the car it was literally 2 minutes so didn’t really bother us at all.\n\nIt was a dream!

We stayed at Ripolina for a weekend during the Nova Eroica Buonconvento, the service and availability of the managers attentive to the needs of cyclists were excellent, we will keep it in mind for future occasions! One small suggestion, the apartment was spacious and perfect for our stay, but the mattresses should be renewed.

Isolated structure immersed in the green of hilly fields, peace and tranquillity reign supreme, you go to bed with the dance of fireflies and wake up to the singing of birds. It should be noted that dinner is not guaranteed in the low season.

We stayed at the church's guesthouse in the parish of Sant'Innocenza. It is a sacred building, dating back to 1081, in Piana di Buonconvento.

We spent three days at La Ripolina, staying in a very suggestive former convent. The staff was very kind and attentive to our requests. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We will come back in the summer to also try the beautiful pool.

Position of absolute relaxation suitable for those who want to enjoy a restful vacation; breakfast is served a little late and this does not help those who instead want to enjoy the early hours of the morning to exercise outdoors. Too many asbestos roofs. Overall a good accommodation.

La Ripolina è una struttura con poche camere e bisogna trovare il giusto tempo per accontentare la maggior parte dei nostri ospiti. Le 8:30, contrariamente alle sue abitudini molto mattiniere, sono un' ora improponibile per certi ospiti che amano riposarsi in vacanza. Sinceramente sarei curiosa di sapere le sue motivazioni relativamente alla votazione che ci ha dato, ma forse se deciderà di farci visita un'altra volta, visto che ci ha definiti una buona sistemazione, sarà lei stesso a spiegarmeli. La Ripolina is located in a very beautiful place near Buonconvento. Located on top of a hill, the structure is very well maintained, you can enjoy a very familiar and attentive welcome: it feels like going to the house of old friends! The lady, a very dear hostess, also knew how to recommend pleasant and very interesting itineraries. In addition to an excellent homemade breakfast that matches the images on the website, you can taste all the sweetness of the Tuscan landscape. We stayed in a spacious and well-furnished apartment. I highly recommend it for both couples or friends stays and for families. There are plenty of opportunities for horseback riding or cycling itineraries. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely come back: it is an excellent base to discover a lesser-known but splendid and not at all obvious Tuscany! The starry night sky completes the pleasure of the days!

I returned after 15 days, escaping for a few hours from the daily life that doesn't leave you much time to think. In the evening, I sat on the bench to look at the sky, actually the stars, many, too many for someone like me who is used to barely seeing them from the condominium terrace where I live. To enjoy this spectacle, it is necessary to come here, where the infinite space of the valley in front of us without lights, roads, houses made me think about how much there is above us that we don't see. But perhaps it's useful to also have an astronomy book that leads us to discover the sky. To discover the beauty of La Ripolina, ask Mario and Laura who will guide you to this wonderful corner of Tuscany.

Friendly and discreet welcome. Beautiful structure in a beautiful context. Relax is guaranteed. The only downside is that dinner is not included for the rooms, but this provides an excuse to go to the village and take a stroll there.
