Typical farmhouse of these wonderfully renovated areas and very kind and friendly owners. The dinner was also excellent. Great location to visit different places: 20 minutes from Arezzo and in about 1 hour you can easily reach Perugia, Assisi, and Gubbio.

I stayed at this ancient farmhouse, nestled in the woods, with my wife, for 2 nights! We needed to 'unplug' and rejuvenate: Il Cardo Resort, its tranquility, combined with the extreme kindness of Mrs. Dania (owner and manager of the property), managed to give us everything we needed. From there, we easily reached Assisi first, to lift the spiritual part, and then Montepulciano, Arezzo, and again Florence, to visit the wonderful Christmas markets! Truly special breakfast: products different from the classics, both sweet and savory, refined and homemade! Last but not least: a romantic candlelit dinner! I highly recommend it to families, but especially... to couples.

Il Cardo Resort is a magical place. Here you have the feeling that time stands still! Immersed in the green hills between Umbria and Tuscany, it's in the perfect position to visit both. We were hosted along with our dear little dog by Dania in one of the most beautiful suites, 'la ginestra' carved out of an ancient mill! After a long and cold day, we couldn't wait to return to our suite, where a breathtaking atmosphere awaited us: the warmth of the lit fireplace combined with the presence, in the center of the room, of a whirlpool tub, ready for use. In the evening, at dinner, we enjoyed an excellent dinner of typical products and rich breakfasts with homemade sweets and jams. In short, the Cardo Resort is not just a place to stay during vacation. It's an experience that gratifies the senses.

Wonderful facility nestled in the greenery of Tuscany for those who love a moment of rest and tranquility, good position to visit the beauties of the area starting from a splendid medieval village. Absolutely kind and affable they responded to all needs, excellent breakfast that would deserve an 11.

In a panoramic position on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. We spent 3 days in total relaxation and peace. From there, very close and beautiful medieval villages to visit. Comfortable and clean room, healthy and wholesome breakfast. Efficient staff and Mrs. Dania helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Let's start with the fact that I chose Il Cardo Resort because after requesting information, they called me personally to understand what I needed (that was the added value). Not an easy location to find, brand new structure, stylish, our apartment spacious, clean, very quiet, and complete with everything. Pool very close to the structure, about 30 meters. Recommended.
