We stayed one night at Canto del Sole while walking the Via Francigena. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Laura and Luciano are wonderful hosts and the property is exquisite. Anyone having the good luck of staying at Canto del Sole should take the opportunity to walk the trail behind the property and experience the magnificent views.

The location is as good as can be expected in Tuscany. A wonderful host who ensures you have a great time. Only a 20-minute drive from Siena, a must-see town. When back from Siena, there is a large pool to cool down and refresh. Young families will enjoy the abundant breakfast and all the equipment for kids to enjoy themselves.

We, myself, daughter and granddaughter, were delighted with our stay. Our hosts were welcoming and kind, the property is beautiful, quiet and well located. My husband and I owned and operated a highly regarded B&B for 18 years and our expectations are high. This property is amazing. I hope to return one day.

Beautiful, beautiful place. Offers a nice, relaxing stay inside a small farm-like place with nice, stone housing. There's a lovely pool area, lots of trees, a few animals like chickens, geese, dogs and cats. Location is somewhat further away from civilisation, only dirt roads are leading to the place and neighbouring areas are wheat farms as far as eyes can see, but the solitude and calmness are what we loved a lot. The facility has everything, the building and rooms are historical, but well maintained and equipped. No shortage of anything and nicely renovated. Has lots of parking space for cars. \n\nBreakfast is incredible!! We loved how many different kinds were there to eat. Very delicious, too! And staff is very nice and hard working. Also the owners are very very sweet and kind. We thank them once again for making our stay so lovely! \n\nOnly concern could be to have some mosquitos in the room, which is to be expected in a natural, green place like this. But even for that, the owners provide some repellent bracelets and tablets to put into the power outlet. Every night we slept very well, no issues. \n\nThis place is a sure choice if you were ever to visit the vicinity.

We (party of 3 friends) loved everything about Il Canto Del Sole. The location is very serene on a solitary patch of land. It is very clean, and well maintained. The check-in process was very easy and the actual reception by Luciano was very welcoming and helpful with great tips and advice. The room was very nice, good air conditioning for the hot summer days and nights. The swimming pool is a good size with differing depths which is great. The whole terrain was laden with spots to sit outside, not just at your own apartment (which also had its own space). Breakfast was also great. So nothing but positive remarks. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here, whether you are with friends or as a family. We would return ourselves!

This is a very special place. The owners do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. The grounds are beautiful. This is my second visit and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a little isolated, but that may be part of the charm.

Magnificent place lost in the countryside, quiet in an exceptional property. Very welcoming hosts, very complete buffet with homemade cakes. Superb pool, ping-pong table, shaded tables, you could spend days lounging! Comfortable rooms (bed a bit soft), very clean, small private garden. In short, magnificent, thank you.

Magnificent structure benefiting from a quiet setting in the Tuscan countryside. Very beautiful park with a lovely pool equipped with enough sunbeds. The buffet breakfasts are delicious and varied. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Nearby tourist sites, such as the city of Siena, the Chianti route, the villages of the Sienese hills. In summary, a very beautiful and relaxing holiday week.

I was a guest at this farmhouse for a weekend when I had to go to a wedding. I am also disabled and was alone, so they were super welcoming and helpful, assisting me with everything quickly! I would have stayed with them for weeks! I hope to return soon, it's great, the place looks like it's designed when you imagine a farmhouse in Tuscany. Thanks again for everything! See you soon.

We stayed at the property for four nights. The owners, Luciano and Laura, are two simple, helpful, and very kind people with all the clients of the property. Even the cleaning staff contributes to make the property 'Top' for courtesy and excellent room cleanliness. The place is enchanting: unspoiled landscape, clean air and guaranteed relaxation also from the splendid pool, equipped with all comforts (sunbeds, umbrellas, wooden table with benches, covered, small table with chairs for the little ones, barbecue corner). What more to say: we will definitely come back!
