Our B&B is located at Monteggiori district of Camaiore art and culture location in an area of great history, architecture and culture, quiet, for enjoying a stunning panorama. "Dulcis In Borgo" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a residence with unique, original style, a building of the past brought into the present with unique touches guaranteeing top comfort.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to enjoy and buy local artisan products, taste the typical local products thanks to the food and wine tours, enjoyable long walks in the many gardens and stunning surrounding countryside.

Our passion for food lives on through a carefully curated selection of local artisan products, sourced from small producers in the area. The self-service buffet, always available, offers traditional pastries, artisan biscuits, honey, jams, yogurt, local cheeses and cured meats, bread and selected baked goods. Each product tells a story of tradition, genuine ingredients and people who work with care and respect for the land. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the shared spaces or on the panoramic terrace, surrounded by the quiet of the village and views over the Tuscan coast. Lovely property in the hills. Bit of a drive but worth the view from the Terrace where breakfast is served. Clean and comfortable bed. Just body wash in the shower which we used as shampoo as well. Just one restaurant in town so you must drive to the next town if it’s full, which it was when we were there. \nMarco, the owner, is great 👍.

The accommodation is really super nice and the village is located on a hill. You have to park in front of the village. But you reach the top after 4 minutes. Children should be carried instead, as the stroller is difficult to push. But it's totally worth it. The accommodation is really nice and unique. We had the room with a sliding door, so our 8-month-old daughter had her own space and there was enough room for everything. Marco, the owner, is very nice, super helpful, and also has great tips on things to do. Overall, a great starting point for day trips by car. (Pisa about 30 minutes away, Florence about 1.5 hours away, San Gimignano about 2 hours away). The accommodation is very clean and the view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful. On request, Marco also prepares little snacks for the evening on the rooftop terrace at sunset. The food was varied and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Nostalgic room with spectacular views. Rooftop terrace available for all guests. There was a bottle of red wine and water in the room as a welcome. The owner is very friendly.

Very friendly host. We felt very comfortable from the beginning. We had dinner and breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a magnificent view. For dinner, there were small Tuscan delicacies and a good red wine. Breakfast included homemade sweet and savory pastries and cakes, Sterzing yogurt, and cappuccino. There was also a good restaurant around the corner.

Salve Desiderio, mi dispiace per le vostre sensazioni. Sono d' accordo sulla migliorabilità, infatti sono 8 anni che ascolto i consigli dei miei ospiti che mi hanno permesso ogni anno di crescere ed apportare migliorie. Sono un po' deluso in questo caso, in quanto durante il soggiorno quando chiedevo mi è sempre stato risposto "tutto benissimo". E questo atteggiamento fortunatamente l' ho riscontrato poche volte. Perché dirmi a voce tutto bene e poi recensire negativamente e genericamente non mi permette in nessun modo di fare tesoro della vostra esperienza. Ma in questi ho capito che semplicemente a volte non siamo la struttura giusta per alcuni tipi di viaggiatori, ed alcuni viaggiatori non sono la soluzione migliore per noi. Spero comunque mi vogliate dire almeno in privato cosa posso migliorare per utilizzare le nostre potenzialità. In ogni caso grazie, ogni feedback è per noi un dono.

A very beautiful place, but not for everyone! The fact that you have to arrive in this medieval village by car up to 800 meters from the property and then continue on foot is something that should be communicated immediately, which was only communicated to me the day before my arrival. My husband had hip surgery in January and if I had known earlier, I definitely would not have booked! If I had canceled at the moment this issue was communicated to me, I would have still paid for the room with the penalties imposed by them.

We stayed in the room with a sea view. We liked everything, the furnishings, the pellet stove, not to mention the view. The terrace above the room was also beautiful, where we enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. The hosts were super kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!

The structure is located in a small village and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot from the nearest parking. Marco is a very kind and helpful host. Breakfast is served on a terrace with a view of the hills and, in the distance, the sea. In the village there are no bars, but there is an excellent restaurant "le 3 terrazze" that, in addition to a magnificent view, offers local and delicious dishes. Perfect for those seeking tranquility, but at the same time not too far from the city.

Dulcis in Borgo was a real gem for us in search of a quiet and special place while visiting Versilia. At the top of Monteggiori, just a short distance from the main attractions in the Camaiore area, with a terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the coastline and, which is a nice touch, close to an excellent restaurant. Marco is a passionate and courteous host who prepares gourmet breakfasts. We hope to return soon.

The structure is located in a small and picturesque village in the hills. Spectacular panorama and total relaxation. Marco is a delightful, kind and helpful person, he made us feel at home. The room was welcoming and spacious; the breakfast was definitely abundant served on the terrace that offers an enviable view. We will definitely return.

The managers are super available and very kind. The breakfast is fantastic with a spectacular view, breathtaking, in a super quiet area. Unfortunately, there are some downsides; the location is a bit inconvenient to reach if you have a lot of luggage (some steep climbs and descents that are not reachable by car) and the room does not have air conditioning or a bidet.

What can I say about this place? The pictures speak for themselves. The magic of this place is unique. The care, kindness, and attention of the owners make you feel at home. We experienced moments of total relaxation and we are thankful that there was no television because that place should be experienced like this, between the warmth of the house and walks in the village. The structure is located in the ancient village, very charming and with a breathtaking view. The manager is very helpful, kind and always present. The only flaw is reaching the structure from the parking through the steep alleys of the village, one must be fit.

Only the rocky climb leading to Dulcis in Borgo opens your eyes to the charm of what surrounds us. Here, it's as if time had stopped. Yet, an inhabited village, where you greet those you don't know and your gaze gets lost among the rosemary, the lemon groves, the stone houses, and the meticulously maintained terraces that stretch towards the sea. And then, you meet him, Marco, the very kind host who knows the effort you made to reach him and immediately comforts you with his attentiveness and promptness to fulfill your every request and with his special sweet and savory breakfasts, prepared with his hands and creativity. Definitely a place of meditation and peace that deserves to be experienced.

A pleasant surprise! We stayed myself, my 3-year-old daughter, and my wife in the top floor suite in March, with a spectacular view of Versilia. The stove in the room heated the entire space very well. Borgo Montiggiori is very nice, the only service available is a restaurant open on Friday and Saturday, Sunday. I would like to thank Marco, the manager of the b&b, truly a kind, helpful, and very friendly person. Excellent value for money for the service offered and for the unforgettable view. Oh, I would like to point out that to reach the property you have to walk up two hills because the village is reachable only on foot, but there is a convenient parking at the beginning of the village. Thank you very much, until next time.

Marco has been extremely kind from the beginning, allowing us to stay for just one night even though the period (July-August) required a minimum of two nights. He always responded quickly to messages and accommodated every request. A super hospitable person who loves that place and wants to make it known to others. The b&b is conveniently located in the center of Monteggiori; it is a pedestrian village, so you need to leave the car in the parking lots near the cemetery (there are 4 hidden at the end of a small street to the right of the cemetery, very convenient. Free). We slept in the Billy room, the 'simplest' but lacking nothing: very comfortable bed and all necessary comforts (including a bottle of good wine as a gift for guests). Breakfast is served on the top floor, on a terrace with a breathtaking view; even breakfast is amazing, with plenty of local products, some cooked by the owner himself. Absolutely recommended for those who love tranquility like us. Thanks again to Marco for his availability, kindness, and hospitality!

Never been better! This is the thought after having been to Dulcis in Borgo, because the place is truly fabulous and the owner treats guests like kings. A combination that is hard to find equal. Kindness and availability are the protagonists in the well-kept rooms of the bed and breakfast, in a delightful setting like that of the village of Monteggiori. We are not used to going back to the same places but here you feel like coming back the next day already. Thank you for everything, Marco.

We had a wonderful weekend at this Bed and Breakfast located in Monteggiori, a beautiful small village a few kilometers from Camaiore. We were pampered and spoiled by Marco, a splendid host, who not only met our requests but also served us delicious breakfasts. In this regard, I recommend not to miss the opportunity to dine on the terrace, in front of a splendid sunset panorama, where you will be served excellent local products, even zero km. It was truly a pleasure to spend the weekend at Dulcis in Borgo and we will return to visit Marco and his beautiful Bed and Breakfast.

Very quiet place and the height of hospitality. The structure is located among the Tuscan hills, a 10-minute drive from Pietrasanta and 15 minutes from the sea. Super breakfast. To come back.
