Our B&B is placed at San Pietro in Campo district of Barga in a lovely mountain area, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a quiet, panoramic setting. "Casale I Girasoli" is a period building where echoes of the past blend with modern comfort.

You will find everything you need for breakfast (prepackaged) in your room so you can sleep as long as you want. For a good awakening can not miss the coffee or tea if you prefer. The milk will be fresh and will not fail. A good fruit juice will help to complete the work but you have to fill your stomach so you do not miss cookies, biscuits and pastries. All topped off with jam and fresh fruit that you will find in our garden. You can taste the apples historical or peaches, plums, pears, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Grapes and pomegranates await you in the fall. ON SUNDAY fresh breakfast in the garden on request you can have hot cakes or homemade cookies.

Great location in a small quiet village close to the lovely town of Barga. Perfect kitchen, friendly and helpful owner. Very good bed.

We spent a week here with our 2 boys and felt extremely comfortable. Apart from the good gastronomic infrastructure of the surrounding area and the closeness to nature, we were delighted by the hospitality and helpfulness of our hosts. Our children could move freely, play football, jump on the trampoline, play darts, or swim. For a quick snack, it doesn't have to be a Snickers. Figs or grapes, depending on the season, are always within reach. Despite the steep terrain in Garfagnana, some villages in the vicinity of San Pietro in Campo can be easily reached by bike without motor support (even for children aged 6). We will definitely spend another holiday at Casale I Girasoli.

We had a great time. A place suitable for dogs. In the summer, the use of the swimming pool is definitely a plus. The family is very welcoming and available for any needs.

We needed to relax and I must say that this is the ideal place. The owners, a lovely family, made us feel at home: very welcoming and available for any request. The apartment is very nice, equipped with all comforts and above all well-kept and clean. We definitely recommend it for those, like us, looking for relaxation and especially surrounded by nature.

My wife and I spent 3 days in this beautiful Casale I Girasoli where we immediately felt at home thanks to the wonderful welcome of the owners, who are really lovely and very helpful. We were offered fresh products from the garden, fruit and eggs that we enjoyed for dinner on the terrace, accompanied by the silence and the relaxing view of the estate and the mountains. We couldn't use the beautiful pool due to the slightly unstable weather, but we will definitely do it next time we come back to this beautiful place. See you soon!

Casale I Girasoli is very beautiful and well maintained. My family and I spent a weekend of complete relaxation and we are so excited about Barga and Casale I Girasoli that we will definitely return. Leo and Erika are exquisite and very hospitable like the rest of their family. The Casale is located in a quiet area but also very close to the beautiful center of Barga. We felt at ease and even our little dog Violetta enjoyed the hospitality of Casale and the two cute dogs Spank and Bly. Thank you again Leo and Erika and see you soon.

A wonder! I stayed here one night with 4 friends and it was a beautiful experience. The house is very beautiful, with well-crafted wooden furniture made by the owners. It is surrounded by a large and well-kept garden, full of plants, trees of all kinds, wild berries, fruit trees, fresh vegetables in the vegetable garden. The breakfast, although packaged, was very much appreciated, not to mention the kindness of Leonard who gave us a basket of freshly picked wild berries. All the family members were really kind and caring towards us. And the swim in the pool in the shade of the banana trees after the trek on Pania della Croce delighted our evening. I recommend a vacation at Casale I Girasoli to anyone.

Good morning, I remember that in 2010 I didn't know where to go on vacation, I was alone and then by chance I found an ad in a women's magazine and so I replied and rented a small apartment. I was doubtful, but when I arrived I received a splendid welcome. The very kind owners invited me to lunch and for breakfast they made me find everything and more, including the famous apple cake. What can I say, the place is beautiful, clean; the pool is a great refreshment to relax after visiting the surroundings. In front of Casale I Girasoli you cross the street and almost every evening there is a village festival where you eat very well. There are many beautiful places to visit in the surroundings. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this farmhouse, even for families because the accommodations are very comfortable and children have fun. Try it!

If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries, Casale I Girasoli is the place for you. The room is small but welcoming and functional, free access to the swimming pool and the garden, with the possibility of personally choosing the fruit and vegetables to bring to the table. The managers are very helpful but respectful of privacy. In five minutes, you can visit the wonderful village of Barga which left us breathless, literally, walking through all the little streets up and down. The restaurants in the area are also good, reasonable prices and local cuisine. Recommended for lovers of total relaxation.

We found ourselves very well, even with our dog. He had never been so happy in the city. He woke up early in the morning to go out in the garden. The managers were really friendly and helpful; they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The swimming pool with hydromassage was used excessively due to the heat. Since it is a guesthouse, we found everything we needed for breakfast in our room and made it ourselves in the kitchen, but let's say this is manageable thanks to the fact that, in return, you can take advantage of the garden and the orchard to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables.
