Seeing as we are a Bed&Breakfast we do pride ourselves in the wide selection we offer at breakfast time – there’s no better way to start the day, especially when you are on holiday! Every morning from 8. 30 to 10. 00 am you can find a typical Italian breakfast buffet in the Villa’s breakfast room: all kinds of cakes and biscuits (often homemade), croissant and brioche fresh from the pastry shop, fresh bread, butter and jams, yoghurts and cereals of various kinds, fresh and dried fruit, nuts and seasonal fruit salad. If instead you prefer something more savoury, we also offer a cheese platter with cold cuts, tomatoes and even hard-boiled eggs on request. The small size of the structure and the limited number of guests allow us to offer practically a “personalised” experience for our guests according to tastes and needs. Even so we do require that you inform us beforehand of any food allergies or intolerances so we may do everything possible to satisfy your needs.

What a wonderful gem and a caring owner, it was a true treat to stay at Villa Ricci and would highly recommend their hospitality. Thanks to the free bikes we were able to explore the city of Lucca at large in just one day and have a wonderful dinner at Restaurante All’Olive. Also, parking on property in the back of the villa was exactly what I was looking for.

One couldn’t ask for more. Serena is an amazing host. Glorious accommodation and property. Slightly removed from walled city but just a quick 5 minute walk. We appreciated the quiet. The bikes were the best way to “walk” the wall! Excellent for groups and families. 10/10!

We were greeted by a very nice host, Serena. We rented the Adriana suite, which consisted of a room with a double bed and a room with a single bed. Bathroom in the middle. Both rooms had comfortable air conditioning. Private parking meant that our car was safe and secure inside the property. Nice kitchen with good breakfast facilities. The house consisted of only 3 suites. This made the stay very exclusive, private and intimate. It suited us very well. Only a 5-minute walk to the Old Town, which is within the walls. The fact that we lived just outside the Old Town and near the station made it easy to take the train to Pisa. Easy to drive around the area as the car was on the property. The location was a very good choice for visiting Lucca and the surrounding areas, and we felt like we were staying in a fashionable and historically well-kept villa.

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Ricci in Lucca! Serena was an awesome host. She made us coffee every morning to go with our breakfast, and her homemade cakes were delicious! Our room was very spacious for Italy standards. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets which we appreciated. The location is so ideal, especially if you have a car. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the walls of Lucca, so nothing is ever too far away. We definitely plan on returning and staying at Villa Ricci again. Thank you Serena for remembering our anniversary!

Serena was an incredible host and we loved the property. It had everything we could need or want and had plenty of Italian charm. It is just a short stroll to the inside of the city wall which meant it was quiet while also convenient. Would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Lucca.\n\nBig plus to Serena who managed to organize a great and comfortable private transfer from Pisa Airport at the last minute for us.

Our party of 6 really enjoyed our stay. The B&B Villa Ricci Suites had large and clean rooms. We had a comfy sleep. Great location with a nice outdoor area with candles where we could convene at the end of a long day. The bikes were a real bonus and reason enough to stay here. They are readily available, and we used them both days of our stay. The breakfast was enjoyable. The transaction overall was convenient from start to finish. Great value, we recommend!

A beautiful villa with a warm welcome from the hosts. We loved the room and the use of complimentary bikes. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely do so again when we next travel to Lucca. Lucca town is very pretty and it is a real treat to be able to stay at this lovely villa. Serena and Julia were just lovely and helped make our holiday very special. We could not give it any less than 10 stars.

We greatly enjoyed our 4 nights at B&B Villa Ricci Suites. The house is a 10-minute walk from Centro Storico and an easy drive out of town so it was easy to access everything we came to Lucca to do. The room was generously outfitted for comfort and breakfast was ample and tasty. Serena was always available for questions and kindly offered all the assistance we could want. Our top pick in Lucca! 3-minute bike ride and you're at the old city center gate! The villa offers you Tuscan elegance! Two bedrooms and one ensuite bathroom, perfect for our family of four. Very comfortable and elegantly decorated. We recommend staying with Serena for sure!

Villa Ricci is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful Villa at a perfect location close to the city center, but as the villa is close to a main street it is not the most quiet location. The rooms are very spacious and nice. We had a family room with two bedrooms and a private bathroom. The breakfast is also very good and (for Italian standards) rich. Serena is a perfect host, who takes care of her guests and has a lot of good tips. We definitely will come back!

The Villa is very well maintained, tastefully decorated, spacious rooms and above all very clean. The night a bit noisy, but we were aware after reading the previous reviews. We had a reservation of 2 nights, if we had to come back to Lucca I would book this accommodation without hesitation.

Perfect for a family of four with a dog (who can play in the garden). Within walking distance to Lucca's wonderful old town. The host is attentive and friendly, very delicious breakfast. Great mattresses, very comfortable! Last year we had one night before and one night after the trip to Corsica and this year we extended it by 3 nights to explore Lucca better and we were not disappointed. We will gladly return, THANK YOU 🌺

The location is very good, the city is quickly reachable on foot. The breakfast was very good and the hostess fulfilled our wishes. It is a villa from the last century that has been lovingly renovated. We visited Luca and felt very comfortable.

We were able to use the parking, unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to use the garden. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended for a visit to Lucca.

We felt very comfortable. All our requests were met. The B&B Villa Ricci Suites is beautiful and very clean. We could rent bikes and park our car in the enclosed courtyard. You can reach the city center in a few minutes on foot. The villa is located directly on a road, which is quite busy during the day, but the traffic decreases significantly at night, so it becomes very quiet. We didn't hear anything from the other guests, even though all the rooms were occupied. We were very satisfied and can definitely recommend the Villa.

The structure is very beautiful, clean and welcoming. The location for visiting the city is excellent, the walls and the center can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Those who manage the B&B along with their staff have proven to be very helpful and kind. The possibility of accessing the breakfast room at any time and being able to make a hot drink along with drinks and biscuits has proven to be a winning solution. Mi dispiace molto però di vedere che ha dato voto 3 al rapporto qualità/prezzo.....purtroppo il voto così basso fa media per comporre il punteggio generale e non viene compensato dalle belle parole! Non capisco sinceramente...avete avuto una Suite tripla per 2 persone in una data di fine giugno tra le più ambite a Lucca dato lo svolgersi di un concerto unica data in Italia, ragione per cui avete soggiornato da noi....avete avuto la Suite disponibile già dal mattino, parcheggio privato a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dal concerto....colazione inclusa usufruita solo da una persona perchè l'altra non fa abitualmente colazione..... Il giudizio sul rapporto qualità/prezzo andrebbe a mio avviso espresso non in base a quanto idealmente vorremmo pagare, ma in base a ciò che si è ottenuto pagando quel prezzo considerando determinate circostanze...che in questo caso sarebbero l'alta richiesta di camere quel giorno a Lucca o il fatto che la camera prenotata è una Suite per 3 persone con due camere comunicanti ed un bagno ed il prezzo non può essere paragonato ad una camera doppia standard di qualunque altra struttura. Elegant structure in a strategic position in the historic center. Discreet and professional welcome and management. Excellent opportunity to use bicycles on site and for free. One advice: to review especially the fender supports and check the lights. Convenient parking and well-kept garden. Too bad if the windows are left open at night, to avoid using the air conditioning, due to intense traffic at certain times. Thanks to Serena and… onwards!
