I cannot express how much I loved this place. Angela, the hostess, was the sweetest Italian lady who I had the pleasure of speaking with and practicing my Italian with. She explained everything to us so thoroughly along with nearby recommendations. It is a tad outside of the old town but transport was reliable and quick. Room was very large and so was bathroom. House is beautiful and well maintained.

We liked the place a lot! The owner was nice and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet and nice area. The only drawback is the cold room (we stayed there in April), so taking a shower was a huge and freezing experience.

We (a couple) really enjoyed staying here, a bit out of the crowded Florence (a 15-minute tram ride and a 20-minute easy walk) in a residential part of the city without a tourist in sight! This is a lovely old house with large rooms and a sense of space and beauty. We had a room on the first floor with a balcony, a very comfortable bed, and lots of hanging space. We think we were sharing the bathroom across the hall but we did not experience any clashes and there were not many other guests at the time. Coffee is available in a small shared kitchen. Value for money €180 for three nights including taxes was excellent. We were greeted by Fabrizio's mother who was very helpful and thoughtful and advised us where to go for dinner. We found a tea/beer/snack stop on the way back from the tram and the Pizzeria Cinzia a five-minute walk from the house, where we had two excellent meals. (It is well used by locals and booking is advisable.) In short, if we return to Florence this is where we would stay.

The property is an old manor house, with spacious rooms, but lacking air conditioning. The manager and his mother are very friendly and provide helpful tips. An air conditioner would make this a perfect resort for summer, as the heat and mosquitoes are bothering.

Good very friendly welcome from the owner. Always a kind word from her every day. Spacious room with fan but very hot in summer (air conditioning would be a plus), you can have a coffee in the morning and sit in a small kitchen for breakfast (not provided), a fridge is at your disposal (very appreciated for fresh water in summer). I recommend this establishment.

The negatives are the noise (you will need earplugs) and the heat (no air conditioning). HOWEVER, we were fortunate to be greeted by Angela who is an extremely kind woman. She only speaks Italian but that adds to the experience. I loved staying there. I would go back without hesitation.

To reach the center or the station by public transport, at 200 meters, stop for lines five or seventy-seven which intersect at the Federiga stop with line T1 that goes to Santa Maria Novella.

We chose this accommodation for the price-performance ratio and we were satisfied. The accommodation is 1.1 km away from the station and walking was not a problem for us. During our stay, we did not need the air conditioning due to the weather conditions, but it could be problematic on very hot days. Also, there was also the issue of mosquitoes common throughout Italy. Considering that there was no air conditioning, you should also take into account that you will be sleeping with the windows open. The landlady was very sweet and helpful. We thank her.

As for breakfast, you can make coffee with the machine and have a juice, nothing else. As for the bathroom, it lacks a bidet and air conditioning is not available.

The welcome from Mrs. Angela was impeccable, very helpful in meeting requests and above all very nice and empathetic. The B&B La Tavernetta is located in a historic building with a beautiful entrance. The room is very clean, offering guests a kitchen equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, fridge and everything needed to arrange breakfast. To reach the center it takes a quarter of an hour walk to get to the tram stop, six stops and you arrive at Santa Maria Novella station. A heartfelt thank you to Angela who hosted us with care and attention, we will come back to visit you. Absolutely recommended.

I was not able to pay by card because the person in charge didn't know how to use the POS and didn't even have the cash for change, I had to leave it there. Moreover, I was asked to pay upon arrival at the property, something that has never happened in other hotels, and despite the inconvenience of cash payment not being my fault, the attitude was intrusive and pretentious as I was asked to stay in the property at times that didn't allow me to fully enjoy the holiday. I recommend therefore to update themselves on payment methods and to have cash available for customers.

We stayed from 27th to 29th of May, very beautiful and extremely clean room. The owner is extremely helpful and the lady is courteous and ready to provide us with information for our stay. The property is located near (800 meters) the tram stop that takes you directly to the center of Florence. Breakfast is not included but the owners provide a coffee machine, juice, and croissants. Excellent value for money. GREAT STRUCTURE. I RECOMMEND IT.

The property is in a strategic location, close to a supermarket and a few minutes from Visarno Park. Also good for the bus and tram location, discreet breakfast, they offer fresh croissants every day and then single doses of rusks, jams, and Nutella. Possibility to make a good cappuccino by yourself. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The same goes for the bathrooms. The managers are very friendly, especially the lady who is really very kind and pleasant company. I would definitely like to come back.

Excellent establishment, located in a very well-maintained ancient building, with beautiful plants in the common areas. Recently redecorated rooms. The room for two adults and two children was extremely clean and really spacious. The owner was very kind, and it was very pleasant to have friendly chats with her. It's not right in the center, but in 10-15 minutes you can reach the tram that in 6 stops takes you to Santa Maria Novella and then to the city center. Very large public parking in front of the establishment. Highly recommended.

The structure is brand new (ancient renovated building) and very well maintained. The bathrooms are in the room and the kitchen is on the same floor. The only downside is the location, which requires having a car (otherwise you need to get there by city bus). It is not the first time I have used this structure and I will definitely return.

We stayed for two nights on the occasion of the B&BDay. Easily reachable by car and free parking in front. Well-kept and clean premises. Breakfast for all tastes: a gem the fresh pastries (jam tarts, sweet treats with almonds and pine nuts with lemon cream). City center easily reachable by tram (the Talenti stop is a 10-minute walk away). The lady and her son are friendly. Highly recommended.

The building is old and very beautiful, after a 5-minute walk you reach the tram that takes you to the center in 10 minutes with a stop at Santa Maria Novella Station. Free unguarded parking in front of the B&B. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

Well-kept, clean environment easily accessible from outside and to the center. Beautiful building, apartment, well-finished but on the ground floor. Modern exterior context not suitable.

Great stay, I was sorry to stay only two days! The building is ancient and very beautiful, with a small courtyard, well renovated, the rooms and apartments have a nice furniture and are very clean, the managers are very kind and helpful, Great breakfast with a wide choice, quiet place and even if not exactly central you can park in front and a few minutes away there is the tram station. Highly recommended!

The structure is very beautiful and well maintained. The managers, Fabrizio and his mother, are very kind. Although it is not in the city center, it is conveniently connected by tram just a 5-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

Beautiful structure, very friendly and helpful manager, also well connected to the city center, about 300 meters away you take the tram that goes directly to the center. Excellent value for money.

We had a great stay at the location, spacious room, clean, with great bath towels and bed linen. Special thanks to Angela, the host who made the stay even better. The location is far from the historic center, we were driving and thus moved to the nearest avenue with several bus lines and from there it was easy to access the center. It is definitely worth it for the price.
