The host was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The structure is a townhouse in a quiet place in the countryside, not so far from the center of Siena (if you have a car). The house has a backyard and some tables outside. Our room had a terrace with a table where we had breakfast. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast. Best quality/price in the area. Recommended.

During a stay in northern Italy, we spent several days with Roberta, it was great. The B&B Il Girasole is very nice, Roberta is very friendly and we had good discussions about Siena and the surroundings, she also recommended places to visit. We chose the B&B "Il Girasole" for its proximity to the city of Siena, no parking issues. Very kind owner, helpful, provides a lot of tourist information and also speaks French. I highly recommend.

Excellent facility a few kilometers from the city. Clean and comfortable environment, you can enjoy a very pleasant tranquility. Roberta is very friendly and helpful. On foot you can easily reach a bar, a pizzeria, and a restaurant of excellent quality. Recommended for those looking for tranquility and don't want to spend too much.

Mrs. Roberta was very kind, she gave us several tips on where to go, what to visit, where to park, and was always available. She also had a special care for our 9-month-old baby and always made us feel comfortable. The structure is new, with a garden and a spacious living room with a kitchen available. It is located a few minutes by car from the center of Siena. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I made a quick stop at this B&B very close to Siena. Clean and tidy room, well cared for in detail and new, as well as the entire structure. Very rich breakfast served in a very charming living room. The landlady is super kind and helpful, served us breakfast and provided some directions to continue our journey; it's very nice to meet hosts so helpful and attentive to guests.\n\nFor those who want to stop in Siena I highly recommend this B&B, which is just a few minutes drive from the center of Siena.

I stayed at this establishment for a couple's trip, and I must say we were very satisfied with the beauty of the B&B Il Girasole and the kindness and friendliness of the manager. Located in a quiet area but close to the center of Siena, we had a great time. If we were to return to Siena, we would stop there again. Excellent value for money!

We spent a long weekend on May 1st at B&B Il Girasole, what can I say, the location is excellent, just 15 minutes from Siena. The owner, Mrs. Roberta, a lovely person, welcomed us with a smile from the beginning to the end of the holiday, giving us directions and suggestions for our trips and things to visit, also providing us with her Siena guide on loan. The breakfast served in the splendid tavern is excellent and complete. The rooms, tastefully furnished, are clean and functional, with free wifi. I recommend this property to everyone! Goodbye Roberta and thanks for everything, see you soon.

In the nice Guestbook that is in the entrance, we left this message: "Where Roberta is, there is home!". It's true, Mrs. Roberta is of a truly rare caring kindness these days. Her attention to the guests is also evident from the small details with which the rooms are furnished. The large tavern is also equipped with a kitchen with microwave, fridge, and freezer, so it is also possible, some evenings, to avoid eating out. Wi-fi is available in all rooms. Mrs. Roberta provided us with a lot of information to go to the city: where to park (also for free), what to visit, where to eat. She also told us a lot about the Palio and the traditions related to it. Finally, a comment on breakfast. Despite the lack of homemade products, its abundance and variety are unquestionable, as is the freshness of the products, although packaged.

Just outside Siena, among the first hills, reachable in about ten minutes by car from the San Francesco parking lot (paid) under the walls. Recent structure, harmonious, silent and very clean, with all the comforts, including a beautiful flowered garden to go down to and a spacious living room to rest and read in peace. The owner, Mrs. Roberta, is very kind and friendly, with whom it was really pleasant to talk and who gave us tips for dinners (there, not even five minutes away by car, there are two taverns where we ate very well), as well as advising us on how to get around the city. Spacious room, on the first floor, with balcony; parking right in front, always free for the guests of B&B Il Girasole; good and varied breakfast with a huge kitchen available for any need, from homemade meals to tea, coffee or herbal teas that can be prepared at any time. We had a good time and recommend it to all those who want to visit Siena and the surrounding area, without feeling closed in the city center.
