This is perfect for travelers who seek nice, quiet, and friendly accommodation. We stayed in the 'romantic room' and it was really nice; it must have been recently renovated. It's not in the center of Florence, but the bus takes you there fast, and it's not even too long a walk. Host Niccolò is very helpful; for example, we got the tip of the pizzeria Piccolo Cesare near the B&B, and it was the best pizza we had during our 1.5-week stay in Florence and Milan. The bed was very comfortable, and there wasn't even a sound from the streets. Shades in the window kept the room dark even in the morning. Even though it's a B&B, there is no breakfast included. Niccolò prepared a very good cappuccino in the morning when he happened to be there at the same time we were heading out. But otherwise, you can prepare breakfast in the shared kitchen with supplies you have to buy yourself, if you want. But anyway, it's a good price-quality deal. We really enjoyed our stay.

I only stayed here one night, but would have no hesitation about returning. It is a very small place with a few rooms. It is quiet, exceptionally clean, and close to the airport and old town. You can catch the tram one stop before the airport, and can catch another tram in the area going to the old town. This location keeps you out of the touristy areas but makes it easy to spend time there if you choose. \n\nThe host, Niccolo, is very accommodating and thorough in his explanation of everything. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but he is only on the property at certain times, so you need to plan for that. \n\nIf I return to Florence I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Niccolò was very helpful in explaining to me how to navigate the city. The bed was very comfortable and everything very clean. Located within walking distance, we did not take any public transport after arriving. It is a short walk from the train station. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for three nights and loved every second of it. Our room was upgraded to a bigger room which was very clean, spacious, and bright. The bed is 200x200 and is big enough for tall people like us, and the mattress was of really good quality so we could get a very good night's sleep. The best part was our host Nicolo who was very helpful throughout all of our stay. He gave us all the information we needed about where to park, what to see, and where to eat, and he served us coffee in the morning and took time for small talk. We couldn't have wished for a better host.

Niccolò is an excellent host. He is happy to take the time to sit and give as much information as you need about Florence. He is a perfectionist, which is why this property is such a fantastic place to stay. Our room was charming and spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The building has a small elevator and is in a fantastic position close to the station, making it easily accessible. Breakfast is plentiful. Our one and only suggestion would be to have a soap dish in the shower. Otherwise everything is perfect! Grazie Mille Niccolò!

We stayed for two nights at this new and very clean property. Excellent location, close to the bus stop and not far from S.M.N. station. Mr. Niccolò, very kind, gave us all the directions to easily reach the places we wanted to visit. If we return to Florence we would choose this B&B again.

The host was patient, kind, and professional. He showed us where to park and how to get around, both before our arrival and during our stay. The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort. The room overlooked the street but had excellent windows, the insulation was great, and we did not hear a single noise, neither from outside nor from the other rooms. We will definitely return!

Strategic location, great cleanliness and courtesy of the manager. Although a proper breakfast is not provided, there is a coffee machine and sweet and savory snacks, herbal teas and fruit. I would gladly return!

A really well-kept, beautiful, simple, clean, and tidy structure; the location is excellent, a quiet area but close to the center which can be reached on foot or with the T2 whose stop is practically around the corner; the parking at la Fortezza della Stazione is convenient and very close to leave the car. We stayed at this B&B for the first time and I must say that cleanliness, friendliness, and hospitality are really the strong points. I highly recommend it, the owner helped us with the check-in when we arrived early by bus; moreover, he provided us with a lot of information about Florence that we didn't know and also helped us with the check-out by letting us keep our backpacks until our departure.

We stayed in one of the rooms of this B&B Firenze 8 Cittadella 8 in the middle of July and the prices were suitable for the location and the service offered. The owner is a lovely person, always available for any information and to offer any help and kindness. For breakfast, he personally served us satisfying all possible requests. He brings freshly baked brioches, the rest of the breakfast (snacks, cookies, cakes, yogurt, fruit juices) is mostly packaged but certainly worth it (especially everything related to coffee, thanks to an exceptional coffee machine). The rooms are spacious, new, and elegant, the same I can say for the bathroom that had a spacious shower. The cleaning is daily and perfect, the change of towels is not daily (only on request) to avoid unnecessary water waste. We were also welcomed with candies, coffee, and very fresh water in the fridge, which is a plus with the heat of Florence in July. Many of the recommendations on places to eat and things to visit were given to us by the manager himself. Absolutely recommended!

I stayed with a friend for 3 nights and 4 days. The room was very large, tastefully furnished, and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows very soft. The sheets and towels were always clean and fragrant. In the room, you can find all the essential comforts, including a very convenient small fridge where you can put your own drinks. Moreover, the owner provides a glass bottle that you can fill with fresh water whenever you like. We chose the option with breakfast and even though it was just the two of us, we were never lacking anything. It felt like being at home. Hot teas, coffee, juices, pie, fresh fruit, yogurt, and for those with intolerances, he also offers biscuits and various sweets without lactose or gluten. Speaking of the owner, saying that he is kind is an understatement. He shows passion and love for his work and for the customers. Whatever you need, he always manages to satisfy you. We also had the opportunity to leave our luggage until it was time to take the train, so we could still explore the city calmly. The location is great, close to everything, 15 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from the station. Moreover, the area is very quiet. When I return to Florence, I will definitely come back here. Really, highly recommended!

Excellent hospitality and professionalism! Very welcoming and courteous arrival by Niccolò, a very helpful and kind person, who immediately made us feel comfortable and gave us very useful directions to move around Florence. The room, as well as all the other spaces, are comfortable and furnished with great refinement and good taste, and above all, cleanliness and hygiene are very accurate (even for me who is a clean freak!). The breakfast is the typical Italian one, offering quality and freshly daily products, very varied and for all tastes. A satisfying and very pleasant stay.

We stayed five days at this very cute and central bed and breakfast in Florence. The room 'Il silenzio del mattino' was very spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. Furnished with all the comforts, equipped with a small fridge and TV. The owner, Niccolò, was very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection. Highly recommended.

The B&B Firenze 8 Cittadella 8 is in a good spot: it's near the train station, so you can easily reach the bus/tram stops you may need for roaming around the city, but it's also possible to get to the city center by foot in five minutes. The street in which it is located seemed very quiet. The room was comfortable, silent and extra clean, had new furniture, a safe for jewels and other stuff you may want to bring with you. Our bathroom was a bit small but clean, with a nice shower: actually the manager wanted us to take a bigger room for free instead of the one we booked, but we were staying for the weekend and it wasn't necessary. So, last but not least, thanks to Niccolò, the manager, who is very kind and helpful.

I stayed only one night at the property during Firenze Rocks. Excellent reception and cleanliness. The B&B manager was available right away. The rooms are well furnished and spacious, but above all clean. The buffet breakfast is plentiful. The property is in a great location. The city center, the station, and the Visarno arena are easily reachable on foot. I would definitely return to this property even for a longer stay.

The location is convenient, quite close to the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station and very close to the Leopolda. It is located on a secondary, quiet street, but just crossing the nearby Porta al Prato you can find many bars and restaurants. The structure is small, but nothing is missing. Well finished and furnished in an essential but tasteful way. The room is quite spacious, comfortable, cozy with a small but well-equipped bathroom. The manager is a young, nice, very helpful and courteous person. Price-quality ratio for Florence definitely positive. Worth a try.
