Our holiday home is found in at Mondello district of Palermo a few metres from the seashore in an area of great history, architecture and culture. "Mattei Appartamento" is welcoming, with refined attention to detail.

Very nice apartment for two people, very clean and approximately 15 minutes to the beach. Our host Alessio was very friendly and accommodating, offered shuttle from and to the airport, provided us with guidance for Mondello and Palermo. We appreciated our stay and our host Alessio very much. Highly recommended.

Mattei Apartments is a great place to stay, very spacious, quiet, and comfortable. We had a fantastic and hospitable host, Alessio, who helped us with all our holiday queries and needs. We highly recommend the flat! The only thing to note is that all amenities and shops in Mondello are a minimum of 10-15 minutes walking distance away (e.g. the closest Tabacchi or a bakery), so if a guest has difficulty walking it may be a little challenging (hence our Location rating). Otherwise, it's a beautiful and gorgeous place, with a super nice host!

Alessio is an amazing host. The place was clean, fresh despite the heat wave we had in Palermo, thanks to the AC. The terrace is big and very nice! Alessio was very generous and willing to help in every way. We were moved by his kindness that represents in my opinion Sicilian people’s kindness. I recommend Mattei Apartments.

15 mins walk from one of the best beaches in Palermo. Host was super nice, helped us to get from Airport even though we arrived at 2 AM. He even helped us via WhatsApp, gave us recommendations for places etc. There is a great pizza place right next to the apartment, we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. We’ll recommend the place to our friends, and if ever come back, we’ll stay here again. Thank you from Vaclav and Valery!

Lovely and very cozy apartment. 15 minutes walk from the sea and the center. There are few services around, but it's a relative fact to all of Mondello. Perhaps the only flaw is the presence of only one air conditioner, but since we were out all day, we hardly felt it. The added value of our stay was Alessio who went out of his way to help us with every request and whenever needed (he even took us grocery shopping).

Abbiamo climatizzato la seconda camera che sottolineo vendiamo per singola ,ma a richiesta ha un letto IKEA che si trasforma in un comodo letto matrimoniale .come si nota dalle fotografie in galleria.

Simple but very welcoming location, I stayed on the ground floor and made great use of the sunbathing area at the back, quiet and suitable for evening reading. Alessio is very nice, helpful and always found an answer to my questions, from food to shopping. I will recommend it to my acquaintances.

A fantastic surprise, clean apartment well equipped with everything, even the tourist tax included in the price. Alessio kind and professional, we went to the sea and then to Palermo for a typical Sicilian dinner and a fun evening. We plan to return to Palermo in September so we will definitely book this apartment. Recommended.

We stayed in the apartment, equipped with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and terrace. We were welcomed by Alessio, a lovely, friendly, and courteous person who helped us move around quickly in Palermo. The apartment is quiet, well-stocked, and very clean. Dining on the terrace is truly priceless! Next to the apartment, there is an affordable little restaurant where you can eat well. The sea is 10 minutes away on foot. We were satisfied and will definitely come back. Thank you.

I rented this apartment because it was advertised as having air conditioning, but in reality, the air conditioner was only in a small bedroom, so the rest of the house was like an oven. I didn't have a great time with 35 degrees, honestly. The structure is nice, but the shower was broken, so I had to hold the phone in my hand, which was not the most comfortable. I have to be honest, when I mentioned it, they wanted to send someone to fix it, but since it was a 5-day vacation, I didn't want to waste time making an appointment and waiting for the technician. And can I say something? I think it was done on purpose to increase consumption. This way, you are forced to turn off the water to soap yourself! I also think that to keep the air conditioner on, you needed a key, and this key was welded to the keychain. So if I went out, I couldn't leave the air conditioner on, which would have been useful to cool the house since it was only in the bedroom.

Ci dispiace che ha trovato degli inconvenienti per la sua vacanza, ho chiesto al nostro responsabile cosa sia accaduto, lui si è prodigato immediatamente per mettere il gancio per sorreggere la doccetta, ma ad oggi mi ha detto che attendeva la sua chiamata per confermare l'intervento che sarebbe durato 1minuto svitare 2 viti. Nelle nostre descrizione non abbiamo mai scritto bugie, bastava solo leggerle la descrizione che specifica che solo la stanza da letto ha il clima e bastava tenere la porta aperta della stanza da letto per avere i benefici in tutte le stanze come fanno tutti i nostri ospiti dopo le spiegazioni del nostro collaboratore, bastava anche ascoltare che la casa è non fumatore Che non si può fare entrare altre persone che non sono state registrate al check in, la sanificazione delle intero appartamento che puzzava di sigaretta e costato 60€, un lenzuolo bucato con la sigaretta 20€ non penso che a casa vostra bucate un lenzuolo al giorno e non penso che uscite di casa e lasciate 24ore il clima acceso. Noi accettiamo tutte le opinioni dei nostri ospiti per migliorare la qualità dei nostri servizi e la ringraziamo della sua recensione, ma bisogna essere anche un po' onesti specialmente quando si publicano delle recensioni.
