Mare Nostrum breakfast is served in the newly renovated breakfast room, with modern furnishings and decoration of paintings by young local authors from Pozzallo. The breakfast is mainly buffet with hot foods (Croissants and savory foods) served at the table. Breakfast can be requested in the room with a supplement of Euro 2. 50 per person. Sweet dishes: cereals, croissants and mixed treats cooked by ourselves in the morning, fresh bread every day and white and wholemeal bread in a crate, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade cakes, mixed fruit juices and depending on the season local oranges and juices. Savory: mixed cold cuts, boiled eggs, national and local cheese On request with a little extra, € 3. 00 per person: menus for coeliacs with quality products purchased from specialized shops such as biscuits, bread in the oven, biscuits, croissants and cakes.

Poor value for money. The structure needs renovation. The photo of the room is misleading as it is very different from reality.

We stayed for about a week, it was a nice holiday for several reasons. Firstly, the location, just a stone's throw from the center and with everything at hand. The management of the Hotel Mare Nostrum, Enrico is a very kind and friendly person (the good morning is seen from the morning) is available from the first phone contact, full of advice that are very useful. A special mention to the structure, really very well taken care of in the details and very clean environments, a thank you to all the staff for their courtesy and availability. Finally, Pozzallo, a really nice town, very clean with many bars for all tastes. Not to mention the proximity to fabulous beaches like Sampieri, Maganuco di Modica, Santa Maria Del Focallo etc. I hope to come back.
