The property is unassuming,so don’t judge it by its exterior as that’s Palermo. Once inside,you are in a safe and fabulous apartment. Excellent location,and Stefano is a wonderful host. He will totally look after you.

The rooms are located on the 4th floor of the building, but do not be put off by the exterior of the building, as once you enter the Maqueda Suites, you will be blown away with the size of the rooms, the cleanliness and the high standard of furnishings. It’s ideally located for the historic centre and main attractions as well as the more modern parts of the city too. The hosts Stefano and Elisabetta will certainly give you a good welcome and help with tips on sightseeing and good restaurants.

We were in December with our eight-year-old daughter for a two-day trip to Palermo. We booked the apartment at the last minute and were very satisfied with both the furnishings and the hospitality of the host family. The apartment is centrally located in the old town, just 5 minutes from the lively Via Maqueda, which invites you to stroll with numerous cafes, shops, and restaurants. All major attractions are easily reachable on foot. A big plus point is the possibility to park a car about 100 meters away in a secure parking lot organized by the host. Although parking is not cheap, it is definitely worth it. The apartment is located in an old building, which is not surprising when booking accommodation in the old town. The stairwell was clean, and we were particularly delighted with the nostalgic elevator with wooden doors that we had to open and close ourselves. Our daughter had a lot of fun with it and even made some great explanatory videos. The accommodation is run very professionally: modern furnishings, electric shutters, a comfortable shower, and comfortable beds. We found the small refrigerator with provided drinks particularly practical. The room was cleaned and tidied during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. A highlight was the well-functioning heating that kept us pleasantly warm during the cool December temperatures. Our host Stefano was extremely friendly, helpful, and always easily reachable. All in all, it was a perfect choice, and we can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

The structure is located in a strategic position, in the center of Palermo and is convenient for all visits to points of interest. The rooms are brand new and spacious. Convenient also for taking public transport that takes you to visit the surroundings. Attentive, present and never intrusive management. An excellent base and a reference point for the next times.

The Panorama suite where we stayed is brand new and very functional. The building in the historic center of Palermo is similar to many others, but inside the suite is comfortable, bright, and well-furnished. Central location near via Maqueda and via Roma, therefore convenient to move around the historic center and visit the main monumental sites of the city. Public transport is also easily accessible on the nearby Via Roma. We stayed in 3 in the Politeama room, functional and welcoming, recently renovated and very clean. Warm welcome from the managers, Stefano and Elisabetta, also available to provide any directions. Absolutely recommended.
