I loved Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast and really enjoyed my stay there. The property is in a great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The property and the rooms are all modern looking and comfortable. Giovanni was also nice and welcoming and he made me feel at home. The pastries and fruit for breakfast were great and the rate was affordable. I definitely recommend Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast. I will stay there again the next time I visit Palermo.

Everything was perfect!

Great little bed and breakfast away from the main city in a nice neighbourhood but still within walking distance and close to the bus stops that take you to all the main sights and also the airport. Giovanni is extremely friendly and helpful from the moment of booking the room until departure, always available to answer questions, recommend things to do and places to eat. Delicious selection of fresh cakes and pastries for breakfast along with fresh fruits and various tea and coffee options. The room was large, spotlessly clean and well thought out with everything you could need.

We have just returned home after 3 wonderful nights at Mama Tita Rooms. The property is on a lovely tree lined street just a few moments walk from via Liberta and its very smart designer shops. Meanwhile we discovered via Lumia which was lined with many different wine bars and restaurants and only a moments walk from the front door of the property. The property itself is beautiful! The main reception area is light and welcoming and is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the breakfasts in the mornings. We stayed in the Mama Tita suite and it was possibly the nicest room we have ever stayed in! The exposed stone walls and the vaulted ceiling were incredible and the double balconies provided light and allowed us to watch the world go by on the streets below. Finally, our host Giovanni was excellent! He was so welcoming and full of knowledge of the city as well as excellent recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. Having worked in the hotel business for much of his life his passion and eye for details is second to none and makes for a really special stay. We hope to visit again soon, thank you for making our first trip to Italy so unforgettable!

We had a wonderful time. We chose this B&B because of all the good reviews and it didn't disappoint. The host was a delight and very helpful. The room was not big, but it accommodated everything we needed. The breakfast was a typical Sicilian sugar treat, great to kickstart the day.

This was a first time B&B experience for me and it was amazing! The host was very helpful, the rooms were clean and the host also told us how to control the air conditioning because we did this completely wrong. I still miss the pastry with watermelon we got during breakfast and the cappuccinos were so good! Location was good also, walking distance to the centre seemed long but I think it was because of the heat. The balcony on the property is also nice to hang out a little bit and really feel "Italian."

Had a wonderful time in Palermo staying at Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast. The hotel is close to the historical center and the area is very quiet and not crowded. Giovanni's welcome was wonderful. He discussed my plans with me and helped me plan my sightseeing itinerary. He also gave me a link to a website where I could book a spot on the beach when he found out I was going there. He also gave me a link to a few restaurants that are not touristy, but are delicious (I went to a few of them and was very pleased!). If I go to Palermo again, I will definitely stay at this same place. Thank you!

One of my best Bed and Breakfast experiences. The room was spacious with high ceilings and very well decorated with great lighting. On top of that you have an exclusive concierge service with Giovanni who also takes care of breakfast, he will guide you in whatever it is you need or want to do in Palermo. Where to go for food, book a taxi to the airport or where are the hotspots to go in the city. This is a real added value to the experience. I hope you will stay there if ever in Palermo.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Our host was very pleasant and breakfast was terrific. But our room was tiny. Fortunately, we are both slim and we managed OK. But if you are pregnant, very tall or heavy set, you will have difficulty negotiating the bedroom space. Perhaps the other rooms in the B&B are larger. The building is in an awesome location in Palermo; upscale residential but still within walking distance of the old town center. But certain safety features would help improve the guest experience. There are no railings to hold onto in the marble stairwell or entry stairs. The overhead motion light comes on only on entry from outside but not when negotiating the steps down the stairs to the outside. So without a railing, the trek downstairs with luggage becomes treacherous.

I was very comfortable in my room and I loved Giovanni. He was a great host, who made us feel welcome and comfortable. There are cute restaurants and bars nearby.

We stayed 4 nights at the Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast. Giovanni is a kind man who will answer all questions in English or Italian with a lot of useful information. In the morning, coffee or tea is served (in paper cups) and a more than sufficient self-serving breakfast buffet is offered. After breakfast, Giovanni can provide you with a lot of information for a trip in Palermo and surrounding area with information about public transport, restaurants, places to visit, signage, etc. The price of the B&B is correct for the services offered and the quality of the B&B. The rooms are very clean and perfectly maintained. We recommend this B&B.

Great location which is a) around the corner of the airport bus stop, b) a stop on the main city bus line (5-10 minutes to the old town) and at the same time in a good and pretty quiet part of town.

The host was so very nice and accommodating, he really cared that you have the best stay possible! The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, with a really nice Sicilian breakfast served each morning. It was easy to reach by the bus from the airport and there is a charming walk to the city center through the shopping street and historical part of the city. I was very happy with the entire experience, I even booked there again!

Great place to stay both for work and for leisure. The room was very clean and great. The structure is easy to reach, even at late night. The location is perfect: very central. Most places of touristic Palermo and shopping areas can be easily reached on foot, but the bus stop to other parts of the city (e.g. Mondello) is just 2 minutes away. Same distance to get the airport shuttle and to reach via Libertà (my favourite avenue in Palermo). Giovanni is one of the best hosts I've ever had. Very nice, helpful, always available. Breakfast was always fresh and abundant. Totally recommended.

We can highly recommend staying at Mama Tita. Giovanni is very helpful. The room was beautiful and quite spacious with a large and very clean bathroom. The breakfast is typically sweet. The only thing, the house and rooms are a bit noisy, so you can hear the streets and doors but it didn't bother us. The city center is walking distance but you can also take for example electric scooters to get there faster.

Truly a discovery. Giovanni always kind and helpful, beautiful and well-kept room down to the smallest detail. Also, the whole structure very clean, you can see all the effort and love they put into it. If we go back to Palermo, without a doubt, we already know where to stay and we highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect. The host was a very kind and helpful man and gave us great tips on what to visit in Palermo.

How wonderful!

It's a nice B&B, well managed by Giovanni who has always been available for any information or needs. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast: it was an exclusively sweet breakfast (although with quality products), there should be cheese! The second negative thing about the breakfast was that for coffee, American or otherwise, there were only plastic cups - this made me angry! The B&B was not a McDonald's anyway.

Giovanni is a wonderful host and the place is really top.

We stayed for 4 days in this lovely new B&B in a historic building. Our room was the "Mama Tita suite". Everything was perfect, the room and the bathroom in vintage/charme style, tastefully furnished. We chose this B&B for the excellent reviews we read. We can confirm that they are all true, both regarding the structure itself and Giovanni, a dear person who makes you love the wonderful city of Palermo even more and beyond. Giovanni is a truly caring person and gives great advice for tourists. We will definitely return very soon. Another plus is the area! The building is located near Viale della Libertà (the most beautiful street in Palermo), in a one-way tree-lined street where it is often possible to park the car. Well done, Giovanni!

Perfect structure! Great location just steps away from Via della Libertà, a street full of shops and services, and 15 minutes from the historic center. Giovanni, the manager, was very kind from the first contact, during which he provided me with precise and detailed information in no time and worked hard to find a solution for all my requests. The three booked rooms turned out to be beautiful exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and finely renovated with an attention to detail that shows the care of the owner. In the bathrooms, a well-stocked courtesy kit, soft towels, and even a shower with chromotherapy! The breakfast was also excellent, with delicious local products. Moreover, Giovanni was very helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage in the structure until the time of our departure, well beyond the checkout time! Definitely a positive experience. Highly recommended.

Since my stay was enhanced by a birthday, Giovanni wanted to surprise me with a cake and candles, a gesture that made the day even more memorable. We had a great time. Giovanni is very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. The structure, although small, is very cozy and modern. It is a mini hotel and very well maintained. Super breakfast! Also close to the shuttle bus to the airport, which is a plus. Great experience.

We had a fairly good stay. The manager was very helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The sweet breakfast was of excellent quality. The only thing we did not like was the rudeness of the neighbors in the room due to the disturbing noises after 24:00.

From the first to the last day, my wife and I felt like family. Giovanni, the owner, proved to be a kind and welcoming person, always ready to understand the needs of the guest. Our stay at Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast was very pleasant. The room was very clean and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast was superb, with all the typical delicacies of Sicilian cuisine. The owner Giovanni was very kind in providing us with all the information we needed and gave us excellent tips to better appreciate the city.

Room & Breakfast adjacent to the historic center of Palermo, extremely welcoming, particularly well-kept in furnishings, where the tuff of the walls adds warmth to the environments and everything feels new also because it is excellently maintained. A jewel box where you are pampered by the rich breakfast with artisan Sicilian pastries and above all by the discreet, helpful and always courteous hospitality of Giovanni. Attention to detail, such as the cleanliness seal at the entrance doors of the rooms, the accessories accompanying the services, and the air conditioning, make the stay even more enjoyable. Seeing is believing.

The structure is new and despite being economical, they have thought of personalizing each room in a simple way. The owner is very welcoming and offers a simple and sufficient breakfast. It is not far from the center and the walk along the avenue is interesting.

"Mama Tita" is a very cozy Bed and Breakfast, tastefully renovated without overlooking any comfort, the owner Giovanni, extremely kind and highly competent, enriched our short stay (we will be back!) with an excellent concierge service, very convenient the nearby private garage and excellent the cuisine of the recommended local restaurant. We stayed at Mama Tita just last weekend and I cannot refrain from writing something about it because the property is delightful: attention to detail, very clean (you can smell a 'clean and tidy' scent as you climb the stairs leading to the entrance of the B&B). We were greeted by the very friendly Giovanni who from the beginning made himself available to provide directions, make sure we had everything we needed, and to explain that the next morning we would have a typically Palermo breakfast, with the delights of the local pastry shop, prepared by a baker (who works at night... the old-fashioned way), which he would personally pick up to make available to his guests: very well-groomed sweets inside glass stands worthy of those who make attention to detail their own excellence. To accompany this well-groomed breakfast, every kind of drink, tea, juice, or whatever else (prepared by Giovanni based on everyone's desires). The location is ok. The property is close to the Politeama, allowing you to walk to the city center for a bit and then everyone can continue on their own itineraries. There were no shortage of recommendations for eating in non-touristy places where you can taste the typical cuisine. The room (suite) very well-groomed. I couldn't find anything missing no matter how hard I tried. Truly a charming B&B where the courtesy of the owner makes you feel at home. I will recommend it to friends who will be going to Palermo and it will certainly be our reference on the next stop in the city.

The structure is splendid and maintains in a modern key all the architectural characteristics of the palace: from the vaulted ceiling inside the room, to the tufa walls, to the recovery of doors and fixtures in style. The exterior also features beautiful decorative friezes on the windows of the first floor, where the structure is located. The spaces are perfectly structured with functional details: from wall lights, to USB sockets, to the fantastic shower with chromotherapy spotlights. The structure is a few steps from the center and well served by public transport. The breakfast is spectacular: from the baked cassata, to the pistachio cake, to the fig cookies. In the area there are also several restaurants and a few meters away starts Via La Lumia, the center of Palermo's evening nightlife.

It was a surprise, and like all surprises, it left us amazed! The structure is new, well-furnished, attention to detail and very clean. It meets the needs of those who stay away from home, offering comfort, tranquility, and a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. But the highlight is Giovanni, the owner, who entertains his guests with his joy, hospitality, and friendliness, delighting them every morning with traditional mega breakfasts each different day! Not recommended for those on a diet.

Really top as welcome, beautiful structure, great location, stratospheric sweets for breakfast... what more could you want? I absolutely recommend!

For our stay in Palermo, my girlfriend and I chose Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast. We had already read excellent reviews but we did not expect such a warm welcome, kindness, and friendliness from Mr. Giovanni and his family. Always available for information about the city of Palermo and great recommendations on what to try and where. The bed and breakfast, as in the photos, is very well-kept and characteristic. The location is also excellent, a short walk from the center but away from the urban chaos, and very close to various bus stops. Last but not least, Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast offers a fantastic breakfast with a wide selection of typical Sicilian pastries. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience at Mama Tita. In the heart of Palermo you will find a well-kept, clean, and modern Bed and Breakfast. The property is managed divinely by the owner who is always friendly and ready to help his customers. You can notice from the first moment the experience and care with which this place is managed. I stayed at this property at the beginning of July 2021. I was very happy with my stay there, cozy atmosphere, hospitable host, central location. Famous Mondelli beach reachable by bus in 15 minutes.

B&B not very far from the center, located in a quiet area, beautiful, comfortable, furnished and cared for in every detail with taste and references that refer to the style, traditions, and colors of Sicily. Tasty typical Sicilian breakfast with fresh and delicious products. The owner of the B&B Giovanni, a very helpful and polite person, will advise you on the places and monuments to visit in a Palermo to discover. Trust him!

We stayed at Mama Tita for a long weekend in Palermo, our first time in Sicily. We are a young couple, who immediately felt welcomed by the city and by Giovanni, a smiling, courteous and helpful hotelier, who responds instantly to any doubt, curiosity, and requested advice, a truly impeccable host. We arrived comfortably from Piazza Politeama and then directly from Palermo airport. During our stay, we reached the city center on foot daily and Mondello several times by public transport: the stop is less than 100 meters from the house, the ticket purchased with the city app is very convenient. We slept in the Papà Franco room, where you will find every comfort and accessory necessary for a very pleasant stay, including air conditioning, safe, minibar, a small balcony corner, and a tea corner. The bathroom is a design treat, with a shower with chromotherapy jacuzzi, with ceramics that recall classic Palermo and Sicily and spectacular sinks. The room is furnished with a music theme, you will immediately capture the essence of Giovanni's welcoming quality, who creates a truly relaxed atmosphere for guests and provides information materials for free (maps, home services, affiliated restaurants). He gave great importance to the guest's well-being and it shows in every detail, including the quality of sleep and the abundance of the Italian breakfast supplied by a local bakery with truly exquisite products, and in this pandemic period he provides hand gel, a small appreciated attention. In this regard, the cleanliness of the property is careful, impeccable, and well-kept, the room is cleaned every day. We really enjoyed a splendid stay, an experience within the pleasure of traveling and discovering a pearl city of our peninsula.

To say the least, magical, in every corner you can feel the love and care with which Giovanni created this place, when you enter Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast it doesn't seem like you're entering a bed and breakfast but a friend's house. Large and spacious room, very clean bathroom equipped with all the comforts and courtesy kit. Typically Sicilian breakfast with typical local artisan products. What can I say, highly recommended. It was my first (of many I hope) stay in Palermo (a wonderful city); the B&B Mama Tita was an excellent starting point to discover the city. In a city area, but away from the chaos, well surrounded by services (restaurants, supermarket, luxury shops, bars/pubs, etc). Excellent welcome and availability of the manager (who allowed me to check in the morning, much appreciated), wonderful room from every point of view (very comfortable, very clean, well furnished, and the bathroom was impeccable), abundant breakfast, perfect wifi. The only flaw, if I really have to find one, is that the rooms are around the entrance/breakfast room, and you can hear the entrance door opening/closing and people at breakfast. Perhaps softening the closure of the door would earn the eleventh star, but it was truly a pleasure to stay here. Thank you Giovanni.
