Halicyae B&B

The hosts made us feel extremely welcome in this modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean accommodation. The room had efficient, quiet air conditioning and an extremely comfortable bed, with plenty of storage space. The breakfast room was spacious too, and the breakfast itself was brilliant, with local produce and fresh fruit. The coffee machine was excellent, and we enjoyed being able to use the facilities in the breakfast room throughout the day. We loved using the roof terrace with its 360-degree panoramic view and space to relax. Diego ensured we were on time for all of our classes at Salemi Ceramics and was extremely kind. He told us all about the history of Salemi, and nothing was too much trouble.

My hosts were so great! I had a million questions that Daniela always answered promptly and reassured me that everything was fine. Since I was at the ceramics school, the location was not ideal, but Diego drove me to and from the school and to any after-class events. He was on speed dial and very attentive and understanding toward my ever-changing schedule. I think my accommodation was much more modern, clean, and comfortable than some of the closer B&Bs. Although I had requested no housekeeping since I was only there for six days, they insisted on delivering fresh towels and sheets daily. If you like a little exercise before class, Halicyae is perfect for you. Breakfast was always neatly laid out and there was lots to choose from. The coffee was delicious and everything was fresh every morning. I enjoyed my stay and the history lessons about the area, as my host and his family had lived there for several decades. It was a pleasure to stay at Halicyae B&B! Diego and Daniela are so sweet and helpful and make you really feel at home. The room is very clean and equipped with all the comforts. As a student of Salemi Ceramics, Diego took care of the transfers to and from the studio. He knows a lot about Salemi and tells many stories about his town's history.

I stayed here for my Salemi Ceramics course. It’s a newly updated property and very comfortable. They provided fresh towels and sheets throughout the week. Diego (the owner) also drove me to and from class or the city center whenever I asked; he was very responsive and it’s a very quick drive. While the location is a little inconvenient for the class, Diego makes it easy, and I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a newer, more modern accommodation. They asked my preference for breakfast and had things I liked every day. I would recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Halicyae B&B. Diego and his family took incredible care of me; it was hard not to feel like family. Salemi is a beautiful and unique city, and Diego has many interesting facts to share about its culture and history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

I had a lovely stay here. I was attending Salemi Ceramics and, although the B&B is outside the town, my host offered a lift service so it was no trouble. My room was large, clean and comfortable. My host, Diego, was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

When I arrived in Salemi, the whole village was preparing beautiful breads and decorations for the festival of San Giuseppe. It was very special to see a whole community work together to transform the village. Diego was a very charming host who never hesitated to help and helped me appreciate the special qualities of Salemi even more.

This is an amazing B&B/Hotel. The owner, Diego, is the nicest chap you could ever meet. I am looking forward to the opening of their roof terrace.

Excellent B&B strategically located in Salemi. All extra services, as an added value, are nearby. Impeccable management for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Recommended. Ideal property for couples or singles.

I highly recommend the place, the rooms are very clean, comfortable, super modern, and the owner is a lovely person, helpful, talkative, he served us breakfast like at home. In short, everything is really excellent!
