Didi House

I stayed at this apartment with my son for a week at the end of May, and we were very happy with our stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and fully equipped — everything we needed was there: kitchenware, appliances, bedding, etc. The location is also excellent — almost in the city center, with shops, cafes, and sights all within walking distance. Our host, Delia, was very kind and helpful. She was always available and gave us recommendations on where to eat, shop, and explore. Thanks to her, we felt right at home. One thing worth mentioning is that while the apartment itself is well soundproofed, noise from the staircase could sometimes be heard, especially during the night or early morning. Neighbors were occasionally loud, talking or slamming doors. It didn’t bother me too much, but my son did wake up a few times because of it. Also, if you’re traveling by car, be prepared for a bit of a daily adventure finding parking, as the apartment’s central location means spaces can be limited. All parking is paid, but the rates are quite reasonable — especially considering that it’s free overnight from 10 PM to 10 AM. We never paid more than €3 at a time. Just a 5-minute walk away, near the beautiful Porta Giuseppe Garibaldi arch, there’s a pizzeria called Diabolika. It was hands down the best pizza we had during our stay — delicious and very affordable, with medium-sized pizzas starting at just €5. Overall, it was a great stay.
