At acceptable walking distance from the airport. Please note that there is no pedestrian available most of the time. You have to walk on the street. I would advise to take a taxi if travelling with children or heavy luggage.

Fair value for money. Close to the airport. Not easy to find walking. Clean, internet, bathroom all work fine. Recommend as an overnight stay for limited budget, good physical condition (no elevator).

The property manager was extremely helpful and communicated well. Our flight was cancelled and we had to book a room last minute. We had to be at the airport at 4:00 the next morning. Our host took care of scheduling a shuttle to pick us up and the shuttle was on time. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The host recommended a local restaurant within walking distance that had very good panini and pastries. She also gave us her number in case we needed anything. We really appreciated her help and kindness.

The worst thing about the property is its location. It is located on a major four-lane highway in the middle of an industrial area near the airport. It is a minimum 15 to 20-minute walk for any food and there is nothing in the area to do. Beyond this, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. They are spacious and good for rest. If you are needing somewhere to stay overnight before catching a flight out of Catania the following day, this is a very comfortable place to do it. It isn't really a bed and breakfast, given that it doesn't actually serve breakfast. There are pre-packaged croissants and breads with some jam available, as well as some water and a coffee pot. That is the breakfast. The price is reasonable, however, and with managed expectations this hotel is adequate.

Difficult to find the property...our rental car GPS could not find it. Good location relative to the airport for an early flight. Area itself did not seem very safe and restaurants not nearby. Federica was a lovely host. Breakfast was not very good...packaged pastries.

We were looking for somewhere close to the airport which would be clean and comfortable with secure parking, to serve as a base for our short visit. We found this and much more at B&B Fontanarossa Airport. Francesca and Mario were the perfect hosts and made us comfortable and welcome right from start to end and I would not hesitate in recommending them nor booking with them again either at this same airport B&B again or at their other B&B in the centre of Catania.

This is an excellent B&B a short walk from Catania airport. The hostess, Federica, is a warm, helpful, and kind lady. Everything about the accommodation was of the highest quality, and I recommend it most highly for an overnight stay before or after a flight. If you don't fancy the walk, Federica will arrange for you to be collected at the airport on arrival, or dropped off at the airport on departure, at a reasonable cost.

Certainly, the neighborhood is not the most welcoming, the hotel's facade is skeptical. But the interior is spotless, quite well insulated, secure, and the welcome is really very nice. Coffee, tea available, breakfast included. Obviously the big plus is the proximity to the airport (15 minutes on foot or 5€ shuttle for two, even in the middle of the night). Promise kept!

It is the right accommodation for an overnight stay if you are landing in Catania the following morning. The location is perfect, but of course it is not intended for a longer stay.

We stayed at the facility for only one night and, upon arrival, the rooms were freezing. Thanks to the air conditioner in the room, we managed to warm up the environment after a while; while the bathroom remained icy because it was without heating.

I recently stayed at the Bad and Breakfast and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with great warmth by the reception staff, who were always available and ready to meet my every need. The owners are kind and helpful. The location of B&B Fontanarossa Airport makes it convenient to go by car or bus to the airport, the sea, and downtown. There is supervised parking, internet, and well-kept and clean rooms. A nice place.
