Guests love it because: in the city center, charming property, at the seaside, spectacular view, shopping area, abundant breakfast, near the metro, very new, the design of the property.

Breakfast will take place from 8 to 10 in the morning on our beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. This is based on two personalized menus that the guest will choose between sweet and savoury. everything is accompanied by fruit, eggs and other types of food that the guest will order the day before upon request.

My room (Gold room) was so spacious and well-knitted. Valentino was a very kind and helpful host, and his father was a very warm person as well. Valentino or his father prepared breakfast on the rooftop. They tried to provide warm and plenty of food. Thanks for your kindness. I had a wonderful time in Siracusa.

B&B Marina di Ortigia is the ideal spot for visiting this lovely island. Off the main tourist drag with its entrance tucked away in a side street, it gave us the opportunity to walk around the island and catch the local island bus close at hand to discover nearby places. Valentino’s father is an excellent and helpful host and Valentino provided a number of useful tips by WhatsApp. The room was well equipped and comfortable and bigger than many Italian hotel rooms. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast and the sunsets.

Great place to stay in Syracuse. Excellent location in the historical center, and all interesting places outside the historical center are within walking distance. The B&B service is at the highest level. The hosts are friendly, polite, and attentive, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The only downside is the street noise, so be prepared to either wake up early or keep the balcony door closed. However, the fantastic service and all the other benefits more than compensate for this issue.

The room and building are nice but the service is completely dysfunctional. We received a confirmation email saying who would meet us for check-in and a contact phone number. It took over an hour to get in and that only happened because of the help from a very nice man doing construction next door who contacted the host multiple times. The number in the email was wrong and I originally blamed my phone because this was my first call in Italy. That evening we were told that they had double booked our room for the next day and that we would need to move, first to another room, and then to another B&B and that they would minimize our inconvenience by transporting our bags and providing breakfast the next morning. As someone with Muscular Dystrophy that affects my breathing having someone deal with our bags on all of the stairs here and at the new place was much appreciated. Unfortunately, they went back on their word and didn’t move the bags or provide breakfast. I can’t recommend staying here until they actually fix the booking/check-in system and have customer service on-site that actually does what they promise in emails and texts.

Very nice place. Valentino takes care of his guests. Ideal location to enjoy Syracuse on foot. Magnificent terrace with a view, in the shade in the morning for breakfast. Spacious, modern, and clean rooms. Valentino registers your car in the ZTL so you can access the parking just two steps from the B&B.

Wonderful triple room without extra charge for single use. Very nice terrace with a direct view of the harbor. Extremely friendly service and staff. Always happy to return.

Beautiful apartment with a comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. The best part was the wonderful host, who took care of everything. Especially the breakfast on the terrace with a view of the sea was incredible! Thank you very much for the fantastic stay!

We were informed upon picking up the keys that breakfast can be enjoyed at a nearby café (1 coffee & sweet croissants); room price was quoted excluding tax, which we then had to pay in cash (additionally).
