Very pleasant stay, incredible view of nature, a complete change of scenery. The apartment is very warm, reflecting our hosts who welcomed us with great kindness. It is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, very pleasant and quiet while being very well located: in the heart of the charming small town of Ossi, at the start of the hiking trails, not far from the sea. I highly recommend it!

Ossi is a town of about 2,000 inhabitants very close to Sassari (8 km), easy to reach. It is located 25 km from the nearest sea, Platamona, and from the very long sandy coast of the Gulf of Sardinia, perhaps 20 km of shoreline. It is not the calm, crystal-clear sea of Stintino and Alghero: the water is often stirred and brings seaweed (the healthy kind, though), beautiful stones of various colors and shells. The sand is clean, but the facilities offering services are not all in good condition; some historic structures are reduced to ruins despite attempts to restore them. However, Platamona is the sea of Sassari and offers low-cost beaches and easy travel. Ossi lives, like the other towns near the city, partly as a dormitory for those who do not want to spend much on housing in the provincial capital and partly as a gateway to an inland area that offers many places to visit, from domus de janas to various nuraghi and numerous Romanesque churches such as the Basilica of Saccargia, a small gem. The historic center is small and unfortunately not easy to access, because from there steep little streets begin that are no longer the true living center of the town. However, the ethnographic museum in the small and beautiful Palazzo Del Barone, now restored, is worth a visit. The outskirts are more populated and many businesses have moved so they can be reached easily by car. We spent a magnificent evening in Piazza Sardegna for the “A manu tenta” (“take it easy”) festival, which each year presents Sardinian folklore alongside that of many countries around the world. Restaurants and pizzerias are present and of good quality; bars are abundant. The B&B Le Due Isole is two hundred meters from the square, has a small parking lot thirty meters away, but it is always possible to park fairly close. There are two or three quality supermarkets (especially MD and Coop) within easy reach. The B&B is a real surprise: Maria and Andrea are delightful people (she Sardinian from Ossi, he Sicilian from Syracuse) who offer a top-level stay: bedroom, living-room kitchen with a breathtaking view of the valley, perfect large bathroom with window, well-stocked fridge, two TVs, washing machine. Every morning they leave croissants and fresh bread, and the offer includes juices, yogurts, jams and everything needed for a good breakfast that varies according to your needs. And then… with them you feel at home, everything spotless and tidy. In the bathroom you will find a bathrobe and slippers, towels galore and much more that I will not list. In short, truly delightful hosts who want you to feel good, period. You will discover other advantages by booking (no deposit required, payment on arrival). But I guarantee everything is top-notch. Thank you Maria and Andrea, we will come back!

The apartment is fully equipped, and we did not need to bring anything from home. Maria and Andrea welcomed us with a smile, explained everything about the apartment, and remained available for any questions or requests. Always present, never intrusive. The breakfast pantry was very well stocked, and they also provided cold water (which, after 5 hours by car and over 7 hours by ferry, was greatly appreciated), fruit juices, yogurt, and fresh fruit. We will remember such a welcome for a long time.

I stayed with them for only one day to deal with a family emergency, but staying at Le 2 Isole is an experience I will always carry in my heart thanks to Maria and Andrea. The small independent apartment is fully equipped, perfectly clean and well organized. The owners offer a breakfast that can suit everyone's tastes. Maria and Andrea also did not spare themselves in leaving me candies and Ichnusa that eased my day. In short, the care put into the apartment is evident and you feel at home. I have no words to describe Maria and Andrea. Two beautiful souls. Having the chance to converse with them while respecting personal space and energy was the best part of my stay.

We stayed in this splendid place in Ossi. It is a small apartment with a private entrance, tastefully and characterfully furnished and equipped with everything: air conditioning, iron, living room with open-plan kitchen and a view of beautiful mountains, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, bathroom with all necessities, two flat-screen TVs and even breakfast. Maria and Andrea welcomed us; they are exceptional people and spoiled us in every possible way, bringing us croissants and freshly baked bread every morning. They were attentive to our every need and especially to my food intolerances. We were not simply guests in an apartment; we felt at home. We strongly recommend staying here. The place is fantastic, the view is breathtaking, there is peace and serenity and it is close to all the beaches of northern Sardinia. We thank Maria and Andrea again for their great hospitality. Fantastic stay. We stayed for 3 nights in this fantastic B&B, a true mini-apartment equipped with all comforts: from the spacious bedroom with TV and air conditioning, to the private bathroom, to the kitchen-living room which sometimes allowed us to prepare and enjoy meals with a panoramic view. The fridge-freezer was very well stocked with drinks of all kinds, fresh fruit and everything needed to make a good breakfast, healthy, abundant and varied, and to our surprise each morning the owners left freshly baked rolls and croissants for us. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Maria and Andrea, who proved to be wonderful, affectionate people always attentive to pamper us. The B&B is a short distance from the renowned resorts of northern Sardinia, which allowed us to visit different places. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.
