I had a pleasant stay at Il Profumo Del Mare.The guesthouse overlooks Poetto beach and is close to many restaurants and beach clubs.The apartment was clean and well maintained,with a nice terrace.The host of the guesthouse was very nice and helpful.Overall,I am very satisfied with my stay at Il Profumo Del Mare.

Antonio is a very nice host and has tons of valuable information on what to do and what to see which he sends in a very handy digital document. The room we had (at the corner of the building) is perfect and very clean. It has air conditioning and a very, very large balcony with chairs and a table. And on top of that, it's just crossing the street and you're on the beach. Free public car park is around the corner. The perfect place for a beach holiday. But if you want to go to town, the bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.

Antonio has truly been the best host we’ve ever had. He was incredibly kind, understanding, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We felt so welcomed and comfortable from beginning to end. The apartment itself was absolutely amazing — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and the sea view was simply unforgettable. My visit to Sardinia was truly exceptional. Not only was the accommodation and location truly stunning, but Antonio is the most kind and gracious soul as per all the reviews. Not only does he answer every query, but he looks after every single detail and fixes any problems when they come up. He even kindly did my laundry and found a solution for storing my luggage due to a problem that arose. Thank you Antonio for such a wonderful stay. You are truly rare individual with an outstanding bed-and-breakfast. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family and would love to come back again one day!

This is not my first visit to this guesthouse and, if possible, my holidays in Sardinia will always be associated with Il Profumo Del Mare. A very charming and modern place and Antonio is as usual very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

We loved it very much! Antonio is a very nice host and always willing to help. It was nice, clean and we had a terrace. The location is also very nice, right on the beach with a long path where people run and cycle, so it's worth taking running shoes or a bike. There are also trekking trails and flamingo watching points nearby. The centre is also easily accessible. I think there is something for everyone. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to eat locally, as the local cuisine is a must-try. It's delicious and the pizza is the best I have ever tasted. I will always associate Sardinia with delicious food.

Wow, what an amazing experience I had at Il Profumo del Mare in September. The location is amazing, a few steps away from the beach. The sunrise and sunset from the balcony are beautifully splendid. The room is spacious and you will find everything you need to have a wonderful experience at Poetto beach. Restaurants, grocery store, and pharmacy are within walking distance. You can rent a bike on the other side of the street and discover many things in the area. Antonio is golden, he will give you suggestions, will answer your texts promptly, and will go out of his way to make your time at his B&B a memorable one.

The location and room were amazing. Antonio was very hospitable and accommodating. He also provided an arrangement for a taxi to the airport. Breakfast was across the street and it was simple and good. The view and the seating on the outdoor space were the highlights. If given the chance, would stay here again.

Antonio was an amazing host, he sent so many links for useful information, local tours, restaurant recommendations, breakfast recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble and Antonio always responded really quickly to any questions. The location of the property was excellent and so close to the beach and bus stop for trips into Cagliari. The only downside for us was that there weren't too many shops in Poetta, but that wasn't detrimental to our holiday as we went into Cagliari where they were in abundance. Also no cash point, so if you need to withdraw currency make sure you do it in the capital. We had the most amazing week's holiday and Antonio is a perfect host. Hopefully we will return one day.

All in all, I can highly recommend it when I look at the location, the price, and the condition, really a top accommodation. I will never forget my view of the sea when I got up in the morning. Absolutely a 5 star experience, the rooms and location alone are worth the price with enough space and all the necessities you would need and just a stone's throw from the beach! \nNot only that but Antonio is by far the best host I've met, from the first day he sent us a whole itinerary of ideas and places to go, both for tourists and locals. We chose this guest house because of the location and the great reviews from the previous guests. The reviews are accurate, Antonia is a super nice host, very welcoming and very kind. He provided all the information for restaurants, boat trip, sunbed hired, bike hired and taxi transfer as well as some history for the flamingos. He noticed it was my husband's birthday, there was a surprise bottle of beer in the fridge. He took us to the wrong room at the beginning, he was very apologetic and even sent us a bottle of wine for his error, he was such a kind host :) the room is very clean and comfortable, the air-con is cool and quiet. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach/restaurants, boat trip, supermarket, bus stop to the city. It's such a nice area with a very wide road for the pedestrian lane, exercise lane, and cycle lanes. We had a stroll after dinner in the evening. Highly recommended! Antonio is a true gentleman and the perfect host. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and safe, and as a solo traveller this was much appreciated. The apartment is in the perfect location on Poetto Beach, with a generous terrace and stunning views of the Devil's Saddle, sunset and sunrise, and over the promenade itself. It's bright, modern, beautifully decorated, with big opening doors and windows, insect screens, generous supplies, huge library, lots of local info, comfy bed and super value for money. I highly recommend this stay and will be back again soon. A very happy Aussie.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect. The minor issues we had during our stay, where smoothly handled by Antonio. He is a very dedicated host with a good balance between excellent service and respect for privacy. His recommendations of all kinds can be trusted. The room itself was very nice, clean and spacious. The fridge was almost noiseless and the aircon too. We fumbled a bit with the doors and keys, but it was actually a quite fun experience. We hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at Antonio’s B&B and despite the breakfast not being officially included, he was so kind to give us 4 tickets for the nearby Lido to get an Italian breakfast. The room was cleaned 3 times a week and we had everything we needed. I would 100% come back to this place.

The room is like in the pictures, just beautiful with an amazing terrace providing a gorgeous view over the beach of Poetto. You can even watch the sea while lying in bed. The flat is located in a traffic-calmed area with a free parking area next to it. A sweet Italian breakfast is served at the beach bar across the flat. The big TV supports Netflix if you are not interested in Italian TV. ;) Antonio is a wonderful host. He is doing everything so that you can have the best possible vacation. We will definitely come back!

The perfect place. I can only praise this accommodation. Antonio is a 1st class host and helped us with recommendations and was always on hand if we needed anything. He is how every B&B host should be. He even provided us with a nice bottle of wine after finding the horrific one we purchased from the supermarket in the fridge. The room is so comfortable, clean and spacious. The balcony is ideal for afternoon naps in the shade or to sun yourself after a few hours at the beach. It’s in a great location and easy to get to the centre and within a 1 minute walk to the beach. If you visit Poetto, please stay here. You will not be disappointed. We absolutely loved it.

The location of this B&B is fantastic: right at the Poetto beach and close to many restaurants and bars at the beach. From the room, the view on the sea was beautiful. The room was very new and clean and had a huge balcony. Antonio was an amazing host: he was very helpful showing us around and even arranged transportation from and to the airport for us. The breakfast was available at a very nice beach club, which was a fabulous way to start the day. The bus stopped around the corner of the B&B and took us into the city whenever we wanted. I can really recommend this B&B to everyone!

Great little B&B. We stayed in the charming blue room. The room was clean and looked newly renovated and had all the usual utilities and a balcony. It's right on the beach with easy access to Cagliari town centre. Plenty of parking spaces for a car and a short walk to the bus stop. Antonio couldn't be more helpful, always able to answer any question and giving suggestions on where to eat and visit. He provided us with a parasol for the week and bikes are available as well.

My sister and I completely adored staying at the Il Profumo del Mare. The "yellow room" was so beautiful and full of character with an equally beautiful bathroom. The balcony was pure bliss with two amazingly comfortable sunbeds overlooking the sea. A huge thanks to Antonio the owner for letting us stay at this perfect property. Pure Perfection!

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Profumo del Mare in December. The location is outside the center but right on the beach, which makes for an excellent view on the bay from the terrace. The blue room is clean and cozy. The owner, Antonio, is very nice and helpful with giving advice to see and do things. We also could use his bikes for free. Only downside; the center is too far away to bike so you have to take the bus (the last one at night is at 11 PM). The breakfast in a small café on the beach is not much but has a great view! Highly recommended! We ended up staying longer than we planned.

I could write pages and pages about the B&B, but if I had to choose 3 words to describe Antonio, I would say: helpful, discreet and very kind. We were a couple and our stay there was absolutely perfect thanks to Antonio and Monica. The B&B is very well located, a few steps from Poetto beach, you will also find very good restaurants around. Our room was very well decorated, functional and very clean. The kitchen is big and also very clean. The center of Cagliari can be reached in 15 minutes by bus and we never waited for the bus more than 5 or 10 minutes. Also, don't forget to book excursions with Alessandro (who is in contact with the B&B) from the association.

The apartment at Poetto in Cagliari is simply fantastic! Especially the upper floor with the spacious roof terrace offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding landscape - ideal for relaxing and enjoying. There are great restaurants, a supermarket, and a bus stop nearby, making it easy to reach everything on foot. A big thank you to Antonio and Cecilia, who as hosts were incredibly warm and helpful. The room was very nicely decorated in a maritime style. It was clean and there were plenty of opportunities to hang wet clothes. There are plenty of bath and hand towels. There is a refrigerator and an air conditioner in the room. On the balcony, there were two loungers with soft cushions and a cotton cloth, as well as a pallet bench. Being located on the 2nd floor, you have a good view of the sea (directly in front of the sea there are smaller hotels, but you can see over them). Breakfast was not included, but we received two vouchers from Antonio for a croissant + coffee each, which could be redeemed at Il Lido restaurant across the street. Antonio, the landlord, was very reliable and communication was pleasant. He speaks excellent English.

Very nice rooms for a holiday right by the sea. Close to the bus stop and 20 minutes to Cagliari. The cleaning lady comes every 2 days to tidy up and change the towels. Antonio is very attentive and always stays in touch, answering all questions, helpful. We had a great time and will gladly come back.

A wonderful accommodation. Just a few steps from the beach. At Café Lido you can have breakfast overlooking the sea right on the beach (Italian breakfast with croissant and coffee). You can also enjoy the wonderful view in peace from the balcony. At night you can even hear the sound of the sea - what more could you want. Antonio is very friendly and helpful. The room is beautifully decorated. You don't need a car, as the bus stop, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and various restaurants are just around the corner. I can definitely recommend the accommodation and would gladly come back.

Super B&B with great views and a very nice rooftop terrace. The location is perfect. By bus, you can reach the capital Cagliari in 10 minutes and the beach is right in front of the property, the water is amazingly beautiful and very clear. However, the beach was unfortunately extremely crowded (5-19 July). Antonio was incredibly kind, caring, and always available.\n\nOverall, a great accommodation!

We were with 4 people and rented two rooms. The blue room with balcony is very nicely decorated and has a great balcony with a superb view. We really liked the rooftop terrace, where you could escape well from the crowded beach. The owner is very nice and absolutely helpful, trying to solve every problem or request immediately. The kitchen could be equipped with a bit more dishes.

The accommodation is located in front of the sea, a stone's throw from the beach. Spectacular views. The room was adequate, clean, and spacious with a terrace with two sun loungers. Sufficient for spending a few days of rest. The fridge we had in the room was very useful. Antonio, the owner of the accommodation, was charming. He was attentive at all times, gave us very good advice on gastronomy and sightseeing on the island. 100% recommended.

Very convenient property by the sea, the host is willing to accommodate guests' needs and always ready to provide useful advice on places, restaurants and other everyday matters. From my point of view, cleanliness could be improved and it would be helpful to have a light outside the B&B for when you arrive in the evening so you can see the lock.

We stayed in the blue room with sea view through a window for two nights. The room is comfortable and the terrace is spacious and well equipped. Then we stayed one night in the side sea view suite, which has an even better view because it is located on a higher floor. This room is smaller, but the terrace is well equipped and has a really nice view. The property does not have an elevator. Mr. Antonio was very helpful for any kind of support. The location of the property is perfect for enjoying the Poetto.

Beautiful room with a large bathroom and top shower! The manager is super welcoming and helpful. The beach adjacent to the property is well serviced. Supermarket, bus stop, and restaurants are very close and all super friendly. To see the most beautiful beaches, you need to rent a car from the airport or in downtown Cagliari. Highly recommended.

We felt great from the very beginning. The owners are very kind and helpful, they provided us with all the necessary information to have a nice vacation. We took the room on the top floor with a sea view and a huge terrace with a bed-like structure sheltered from the sun, 2 comfortable wooden loungers with mattresses, various loungers with tables to happily dine sheltered by a tent. The room is very large with a king-size double bed, a fridge, and a coffee machine with capsules. And the bathroom was also large with a giant shower. However, I recommend spending a little more and taking this room.

Wonderful room with a sea view (even if side) immersed in the atmosphere of the sea. Very courteous host. Highly recommended also for the location which allows quick and easy movements. Free parking nearby. I suggest paying more attention to the stair area, doormats, and plants as they are important indicators to reach perfection.

I spent three wonderful days in Cagliari with my husband at this delightful bed and breakfast. The room with sea view was simply enchanting: waking up to the sea view was a true privilege. The interiors are tastefully decorated with attention to detail, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Another strong point is the silence: the property is extremely quiet, perfect for those who wish to rest in total serenity. The owner, Mr. Antonio, was very kind and always available for any information or needs, making the stay even more pleasant. So beautiful that it seems unreal! Strategic location, outside the city center but very close in case of need. Breathtaking view, both day and night, to the point that the beautiful TV seems useless (and for me, it always is on vacation). Very kind and present managers. It's advisable not to forget anything in the room when going out, the rooms are on the 3rd or 4th floor without an elevator. But it's definitely worth it!

We stayed two nights between May 4th and 5th and found the accommodation comfortable and convenient for our needs. There is also a free parking right under the house. The view of the sea is nice even though it is partially blocked by an ugly building close to the beach. Mr. Antonio was very helpful, punctual, and thorough in giving us advice and explanations. The breakfast needs improvement. We hope to return.

Gentile Ludwika, innanzitutto mi spiace non si sia trovata bene nel mio affittacamere . Mi piacerebbe però poter rispondere ad alcune osservazioni: la camera che avete prenotato era la camera senza vista mare con alcuni pezzi vintage che abbiamo appositamente scelto così, infatti la chiamiamo anche così “ camera vintage senza vista mare”, lei per datato intende questo stile voluto? Pulizie : nessuno in circa 500 recensioni che abbiamo raccolto negli anni in varie piattaforme aveva mai messo tre per la pulizia o usato l’aggettivo “sporchissimo”, però siccome lei ha già pubblicato in un’ altra piattaforma una foto di un mobile con un po’ di polvere all’entrata di un appartamento al piano terra del palazzo, penso che si riferisca a quello. Il problema è che noi siamo al secondo piano e quella è l’entrata di una casa privata che nulla ha a che vedere con la mia struttura. Sarebbe corretto specificarlo quando si scrive : ingresso struttura sporchissimo. Comunque grazie alla sua segnalazione ho provveduto a pulire anche il mobile all’entrata dell’ appartamento dei vicini e speriamo che ora non la prendano come un offesa e mi scrivano una recensione su Google anche loro. ??. Sarebbe una bella beffa. Mi rimane poi un dubbio : ma se era tutto così sporchissimo e datato , perché mi avete chiesto di fare una notte in più in quella camera ( io ero al completo) il giorno del check out ? ?? C’erano, a poche centinaia di metri da casa mia, sullo stesso lungo mare, tante altre strutture, anche più belle della mia, che avevano posto. Lo so perché gli indirizzi ve li ho dati io per cercare di aiutarvi. Cordiali saluti. Antonio Proprietario

Antonio is a kind and helpful person. We received two breakfast vouchers and also a bottle of wine. He tried to meet every request of ours. The room is better, but more expensive, than the one from our previous stay two years ago. There was a beautiful sea view terrace with sunbeds and a table to enjoy the sunset. Cleaning and bed sheet changes are done every two days and beach towels are provided for free. The seafront location, yet close to the city, makes it easy to plan evening outings in the city center, although there is a wide availability of high-quality restaurants in the surroundings. Antonio provided us with many indications upon arrival, as well as on excursions and other activities, to better organize our free time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Antonio.

Thank you for this unforgettable holiday! We were welcomed very warmly by the host. Since we landed relatively early by plane, we were able to check in at 10:00. It was very nice! The host was able to help us with every question! He even lent us an umbrella. The rooms were very clean and lacked nothing, they were modern and the terrace was incredibly beautiful. The location is perfect, right next to the supermarket and two free beaches. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. Super central location on the Poetto promenade at Lido. Starting point for excursions by land, by sea, or for a day at the beach, with a wide choice of beach resorts within a few minutes' walk. The room is spacious, well furnished, and meticulously cared for in detail. Comfortable and renovated bathroom with a window, large and well-structured shower cabin. The terrace is beautiful with two comfortable sunbeds for relaxation, and it turns sideways where there are other seats and an area for hanging out. The structure is undergoing renovations but without any inconvenience for the guest. The suite, although not very large, has a terrace and a spectacular view. I used it a lot for snacks and evening aperitifs with friends. Everything is always very clean and well cared for. The location is perfect as it is steps away from restaurants and beach entrances, including the Lido. A big thank you to the owner Antonio who was a perfect host, always present, full of attention and care, and a fantastic guide thanks to his WhatsApp messages with links to tourist and culinary interests. Excellent structure with breathtaking view. Antonio the owner is a very scrupulous, hospitable, kind and caring person having taken care of every detail. Nothing has been left to chance as the love for his work and for the sea come through in every detail that can be highlighted both in the room and in the spacious veranda equipped with every comfort which, with the white and blue colors, recall the wonderful sea view that appears in front of amazed eyes. The interiors are well finished, of excellent workmanship with a large double bed in aloe and wooden slats that ensures a restorative sleep (an element not to be overlooked in every leisure trip since humans spend 1/3 of their life sleeping). Antonio, we will definitely return to your wonderful structure and recommend to all travelers to stay at Il Profumo del Mare.

Structure managed by Antonio, a friendly and very helpful person. It is located in a beautiful area with 5 rooms, the sea view suite we took was spectacular. The structure is very close to all the restaurants on Poetto beach and a supermarket - there is a bus stop 100 meters away to reach Cagliari in 15 minutes. On the last day, he gave us the opportunity to leave our luggage for the whole day in a local place and to be able to change and still enjoy a day at the beach. Cagliari and the surrounding areas are very beautiful, as well as the sea. There is also the possibility to rent a bike at the beach in front. Thank you Antonio for letting us have 4 days of relaxation in these very beautiful places. Definitely an experience to repeat in this structure. Thank you Antonio.

My partner and I stayed in the lateral sea view suite: spacious room, well-kept furnishings, clean and with a beautiful and very useful balcony. Large windowed bathroom with comfortable shower. The location is excellent as it is on the Poetto promenade facing the sea, close to a supermarket, bus stop, food trucks, restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. Extremely satisfied with the facility, with the owner Antonio and his collaborator, both very kind, friendly and always available, ready to meet my requests. The facility is located in a wonderful location with the possibility of walking to the beach, restaurants, entertainment and much more without the need for vehicles. The bus stop is next to the facility and allows you to reach any place in a few minutes.

The suite was fantastic with a terrace and stunning view. The third floor without an elevator rewards everything and is definitely worth 100%. The room has everything, very clean and beautiful. Very comfortable bed. Antonio is a very attentive manager and a fantastic person. With him we felt almost at home. Always available and kind. He gave us many recommendations. Waking up in the morning with that view will be greatly missed.

Beautiful location right in front of the long Poetto beach. The room is equipped with all comforts, air conditioning and refrigerator, spacious shower and also beach towels provided. The decor is maritime-themed, very detailed and gives a feeling of relaxation and vacation. Our room had a beautiful terrace facing the sea with a table and sun loungers, ideal for sunset aperitifs. The owner was extremely kind and helpful for all our needs, providing us with non-trivial information and advice on places to visit, things to do, and restaurants. We hope to return in the future.

Excellent guesthouse in a perfect location both for enjoying the sea on the spot without stress and as a starting point to visit the beautiful beaches on the Villasimius side and Chia side. Good breakfast at the beach club in front with the ticket arrangement. The seafront Suite room is very beautiful with a large balcony and a superb view of the Gulf of Angels and the Devil's Saddle. It is indeed a third floor with corresponding stairs, but they can help to stay in shape for a little while. Needless to confirm the kindness and availability of the manager Antonio whom I greet with thanks for the hospitality received.

Mr. Antonio is very welcoming and helpful. Room inside an apartment in a building on the seafront in Poetto, public parking nearby, supermarket and pharmacy nearby, bathing establishments, water sports at hand, so excellent location. The room was clean. Only observation: from the published photos, the room seems much newer and more modern. It should be renewed a little. The price requested is therefore a bit high compared to other structures in the area and considering that we were there at the end of May.

Amazing place! We were welcomed by Antonio, a delightful person who manages The Scent of the Sea impeccably, always available he gave us valuable advice on what to visit and where to eat. The seafront structure has well-kept rooms, tastefully furnished, clean offering an unforgettable view of the Bay of Angels. Il Poetto is a magnificent place, a car-free promenade where you can walk, ride a bike, in short, relax and enjoy the "The Scent of the Sea". Thank you Antonio, we will definitely come back! We stayed at the Bed and Breakfast 'Il Profumo del Mare' from the 1st to the 6th of August and what can I say, fantastic! We were immediately welcomed by the very kind Mr. Antonio, who showed us our room and explained everything we needed to know (room cleaning every two days, etc...). We were in the blue room: really well furnished and well equipped, with air conditioning, a beautiful bathroom, a fridge, and a spacious balcony overlooking the sea of Poetto. Outside the room, there was a large kitchen equipped with cutlery, dishes, and plenty of water. Antonio also gave us the contact of a very good guide who took us to various beaches in Sardinia, in short, a truly complete service. Highly recommended! Greta and Andrea.

I stayed with my wife at this facility from July 14th to July 21st, 2019. We were greeted by Mr. Antonio in a friendly and helpful manner, providing us with information about the place. The room is simple but essential, with a new fridge put in during our stay and essential air conditioning due to the heat; the room is quiet, ours was garden-side. In the apartment, there are brochures about Sardinia and books of all kinds, also there is a kitchen available for light breakfasts or to eat something for lunch. Antonio is a helpful and kind person, as are the girls who take care of the rooms. The windows are well soundproofed and equipped with mosquito nets, the room is very clean. We stayed as a couple and we will certainly return if we can.

Great location, very kind Mr. Antonio, truly super helpful. According to our opinion, the terrace that has a breathtaking view should be enhanced/cared for more. The only negative note is the impossibility of using the bicycles because they are out of service. Good breakfast at the beach club in front of the property.

My husband and I spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this B&B located in a quiet area (ZTL) right on the seafront. The view from the room is very beautiful and the panorama can also be enjoyed from the large shared equipped terrace on the top floor. The property is easily reachable from the center of Cagliari, also with buses that stop a few minutes away on foot. The price included an Italian breakfast at the bar of the Lido beach establishment, which is 2 minutes away where we had a great time. The furnishings in both the room and the kitchen are very cheerful, typically nautical, and met my taste. The cleanliness is impeccable. The air conditioning certainly made the stay pleasant even inside the apartment. Inside the room and in the common areas, there are fiction books, brochures, and maps of Sardinia. We received useful information and advice from the manager Antonio, who kindly and sympathetically facilitated the organization of our vacation.
