We had a really nice time in Alghero, at Roberto's place. The house is nice, absolutely and perfectly clean. The room was big and comfortable, quiet and lovely. Breakfast was very convenient, you could take it in the room whenever you want. Coffee was good. I had the possibility to drink an herbal tea each evening. Roberto was really helpful. We had a warm welcome as we arrived, and he even called us to say good bye and have a nice trip as we left. Very good memories and a very good place, we recommend it absolutely!

Thanks Roberto for your warm welcome at Blue Dolphin. We felt very good at the Sea Turtle room. The only minus is that when you’re the last room to wake up, you are awakened by the other room preparing breakfast in the common room that separates the rooms. Apart from that, it is a 10!

Only positives. Well located, the B&B is easy to find and there are plenty of parking spaces available. The double room was impeccable and super clean. The decor was really nice, we immediately felt at home. Breakfast is self-service from an adjacent kitchen shared between only 2 rooms. We loved the all-you-can-eat breakfast (coffee, tea, chocolate, biscuits, croissants, cereals, milk, yogurt...) and I even received lactose-free products for my intolerance. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs to enjoy the sun already at breakfast. Roberto, the manager, is lovely and charming. He will not hesitate to share his tips with you. A positive point, he speaks French very well. You can communicate with him anytime via WhatsApp if needed. In short, I will gladly come back to the Blue Dolphin.

We stayed for two nights at the Blue Dolphin. Spacious room on the ground floor. Possibility to leave our two bikes in the entrance hall. The owner is very welcoming and provided us with a lot of information. Nice swims in the bay near Alghero at Frutili and at Lazzaro beach. Good restaurants in the old Alghero within walking distance from the B&B in about twenty minutes.

Overall a bit disappointed because we never met Roberto (everything is done via whatsapp) and the breakfast was 100% industrial. We chose this establishment because we were sold conviviality and a dream breakfast, but we didn't get any of that. Despite this, Roberto responded to our needs.

A good address! We appreciated the welcome of Roberto (in French!) and his sense of service, the cleanliness and the decoration of the room. The location a bit away from the historic center is not a problem (a good fifteen minutes walk) and offers the advantage of being able to park easily and for free. The only real downside is the breakfast, still limited (self-service industrial products). This justifies the 8/10 rating.

- Reception: perfect, Roberto is kind, punctual, smiling, very accommodating (we could leave our luggage before check-in time without any problems) and full of good advice (it was a pleasure to chat with him for 5 minutes in front of the coffee in the morning to get good tips before heading out to explore Sardinia). Almost bilingual in French, helpful when one doesn't master Italian well. - Cleanliness: perfect, we could have eaten off the floor. - Services: the breakfast is remarkable: the coffees and other cappuccinos, milk etc. are perfect (good quality bean machine. And I am picky about coffees.), some homemade cakes (apple, chocolate) delicious, standard cereals for the less greedy, homemade fruit salad, yogurt of all kinds and I imagine you can ask for something else without problems. Breakfast is served on his large sunny terrace, quiet. - The neighborhood: quite far from the center, a 20-minute walk to the city center. Calm. Very easy to park in the area.

A lovely place in Alghero, clean, well-furnished with impeccable linen. Excellent hospitality from the owner who was available to give us advice on what to visit in Alghero and the surrounding area. The only downside is 1 km from the center, but in fifteen minutes you can go down and see the beauty of the historic center.

Unfortunately, we stayed here for only one night. We hope to return soon to stay longer because it really deserves it. The host Roberto was simply fantastic, availability and friendliness never found before. He was able to help us after having a small mishap with the car (therefore not related to our stay at the B&B) with his kindness and always with a smile. The structure is 15 minutes on foot from the historic center of Alghero, reachable by taking a pleasant walk, located in a quiet and little-trafficked street.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for only one night. Roberto is a fabulous person who made us feel welcomed and well received upon our arrival. The services offered were of the highest quality and the experience exceeded our expectations: we found a coffee maker, a kettle with herbal teas and biscuits, a hairdryer, three towels each, a shower gel dispenser, television, a third pillow, air conditioning, a balcony with mosquito net, and the possibility to use the beach umbrella for free. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, just like the impeccable cleanliness. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! If there is a chance to return to Alghero, this will definitely be our first choice.

Structure located in an excellent position, 20 minutes walk from the center and 15 minutes walk from the main beach of Alghero. Roberto was very kind and super helpful. The room with the bathroom is a bit small but very cozy and equipped with everything you need. We also had breakfast included, where we were provided with milk, fruit juices, cereals, biscuits, rusks, croissants, and various jams (nutella, marmalades, butter) and also yogurt! All delicious!

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for 5 nights and we had a great time. The room is equipped with all the comforts and the extreme cleanliness is what struck us the most. There is a small kitchen, but useful and equipped with everything. However, the gem that makes everything truly perfect is the owner, our Roberto. He is a truly special person. We will not easily forget the welcome and the attention he has given us. Always ready for advice and a chat, he managed to make us feel at home. He is very kind and attentive to the little things. We left really happy with the stay, but even more so for having met such a kind and special person. If we return to Alghero, our choice will undoubtedly fall again on the Blue Dolphin. July 2023.

A perfect structure. Excellent cleanliness, well-furnished room, of good size and with all the amenities. Well organized breakfast space, shared with another room, and with trays and placemats to then be able to take breakfast to their own rooms. Everything well arranged and nothing is left to chance. Host very attentive and helpful. The location is convenient, about 10-15 minutes from the waterfront and the center, in an area still served by shops, pizzerias, etc...

Roberto's availability is great, but we encountered several issues. The air conditioning had a smell of unclean air, and shortly after, he managed to fix it; however, the mattress was sagging, and he explained that it depends on the type and that it was softer. Considering that we are frequent travelers, we have never found such a bed. Additionally, at the time of payment, he wanted cash, issuing a paper receipt that, if not presented, has no value. WE HAVE NEVER PAID IN CASH AT SUCH FACILITIES! VERY BAD!

Non comprendo, però, una cosa: dato che il problema del climatizzatore l'ho sistemato in 5 minuti da quando me lo avete detto e che vi avevo anche spiegato la motivazione, pensavo che non sarebbe stato oggetto di critica: -) Il materasso non era sfondato ma morbido, ricordate? L'ho ricontrollato con voi; ho verificato anche le doghe di legno del letto. Pensavo che anche questo fosse risolto. La ricevuta che ho rilasciato è, sì, di carta ma non carta straccia: -) Mi permetto di suggerirti, come più volte da me richiesto, di dire sempre al proprietario se c'è qualcosa che non va e una volta risolte, non "vendicarsi" con una recensione che rende davvero tristi e fa sparire la cordialità con la quale ci siamo rapportati. Io ho fatto tesoro dei consigli ed ho acquistato un nuovo materasso. Imparo sempre tanto dal confronto con le persone e soprattutto con imiei ospiti, grazie ai quali cerco di migliorare il servizio che offro. Buona estate: -) Cordialmente, Roberto.

The B&B is located just outside the center (15 minutes walk), which makes it ideal if you want to stay in a quiet area where you can find parking or even just a bar to have breakfast peacefully away from tourists. The room is spacious and clean, also equipped with a small balcony where you can have breakfast. Breakfast includes some snacks, toast with butter or jam, yogurt and of course coffee. It's not a rich breakfast but it's absolutely fine. Roberto is very kind and hospitable. He will give you advice on everything. Do not hesitate to ask him questions, I'm sure he will answer any of your questions. \n\nHighly positive experience: 5 out of 5 stars!\n\nUntil next time.

We couldn't have made a better choice for our stay in Alghero. We spent six wonderful days of vacation thanks to this bed and breakfast, very convenient both for accessing the beaches and reaching the historic center. The room is very beautiful, spacious, and clean, carefully furnished, and the bathroom is also clean and spacious. Roberto is an excellent host, always available, he gave us great advice on beaches and restaurants in the area. Easy parking under the structure. Highly recommended.

Excellent B&B in a recently renovated building, clean and functional. The owner Roberto is very kind and available to listen to any requests. The breakfast is packaged but still abundant and varied. The only real downside is the distance from the center, around 15 minutes on foot or a little more, however, there are supermarkets and services nearby. Overall, a great experience with a good value for money.

The owner is a truly exquisite person, very kind, made us feel comfortable always ready to help if needed. He advised us on many places to go. He prepared a really abundant breakfast that maybe not even in a hotel they do. I highly recommend going, you will feel great.

From the beginning, Roberto proved to be a kind and caring host, welcoming us into his home and providing us with all the information we needed to explore the city and its surroundings (restaurants, beaches, archaeological sites). In the B&B, our room was exactly as we expected, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Every morning, Roberto awaited us on his terrace for breakfast, always abundant and rich in homemade products, also having the opportunity to meet and interact with other guests of the B&B. It was a truly positive experience that we highly recommend to all those who wish to visit Alghero and its surroundings for a few days, we hope there will be the opportunity to return to Roberto's Blue Dolphin!

5 well-spent days. Roberto, the guest, is a delightful person. He has a great sense of hospitality in manners and substance. Besides being competent in describing the places, in supporting the conversations, he is able to provide tasty breakfasts that are held convivially on the terrace of the Blue Dolphin. It is very clean, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. It is an accommodation to consider for spending a few days in Alghero.
