Patatouc Country House

The best hosts. They helped with everything and made a really good dinner. The room was lovely. They restored this very old farmhouse very nicely and with respect for its history. The view from the house is spectacular and there are many hiking trails nearby. We will return.

A very courteous host who went out of his way to help me. A very cozy B&B room with a dazzling array of confections provided (cookies, snacks, coffee, milk, cream, tea, fresh fruit, juices, jams, etc.). Ideal for those who intend to explore the Alta Via del Sale (departure point only 15 minutes by car or bike).

This is the place to stay around Limonetto. The family who run it are incredibly friendly, and they speak perfect Italian, English and German. The food was fabulous.

Hiking the nearby GTA, we received a fantastic welcome at Patatouc, a wonderful renovated farmhouse with views across the beautiful countryside.

Hosts who clearly love their work and take the time to chat. The walking access and the amount of snow made the place even cozier. A delicious dinner prepared with love. I rarely leave reviews, but this time I have to: I loved it.

The Patatouc is a real gem in the Piedmontese mountains. It is located about a 15-minute walk above Limonetto. If you come from Palanfré, you can reach it from above and do not have to descend to Limonetto and climb back up. It was built by Anja and Valter with a lot of taste and attention to detail and has been run since 2024 with a passion for cooking and great hospitality. Definitely for us the best accommodation on the GTA! We spent a wonderful rest day there. The next day we were taken early to the Colle de Tenda. The Patatouc is also highly recommended for a longer stay; by car, for example, it is not far to the coast or the Langhe wine region. Anja and Valter have many good tips and are happy to organize things for their guests. Thank you both for everything!

Nice accommodation and friendly hosts. Very good food. Perfect for an overnight stay on the GTA.

A somewhat unusual accommodation. Great room. The location depends on expectations. After a long hike we still had to go up a steep mountain. It was very quiet though. The host is very warm and caring towards his guests. Sometimes perhaps a bit too caring for adults.

The house has been renovated with much love and taste. Anja and Valter are perfect hosts who try to fulfill every wish. The dinner was very tasty and the atmosphere at the large communal table was relaxed and stimulating at the same time. The perfect place for a little break from everyday life.

A beautiful accommodation in a wonderful location. The hosts Anja and Walther are extremely helpful and provide excellent service and outstanding cuisine in a stylish setting. Absolutely recommended!

For those who love peace and the mountains, this is an ideal place. Top marks to the host Valter for his availability, courtesy and above all his initiative in renovating with taste a very small hamlet to create a hospitality facility of this level.
