The location makes our facility ideal for shopping in our local Christmas market, perfect for transfers to the nearby railway station 'Stazione Stresa', easy to reach from the nearby motorway 'Autostrada A26'.

Our breakfast offers hot drinks, fruit juices (red orange and ACE taste) the sweet part includes the classic Italian croissants, cake, biscuits, rusks, bread, nutella, jams, honey, butter and fresh fruits. Cereals, musley, muffins and wholemeal rusks. Yogurt natural and fruit taste. And Not sweety: offers ham, salami and cheese + delicious shortcrust salt pastry with mixed fillings.

La Locanda, with an excellent host Daniele, is a very charming, well situated property in Stresa. The hotel, with its own parking lot, is a short walk to the ferry stop to go to the Borromeo Islands as well as a short walk to the restaurant area and the train station.

La Locanda Hotel is a very welcoming and friendly place to stay, just outside the main town but a pleasant walk along the lake side in 10 minutes to reach main town. Clean, comfortable and simple, perfect for a short break to enjoy Stresa.

A wonderful family run hotel. Well appointed and fantastically clean rooms with balconies and very comfortable beds. Helpful managers and staff. 15 to 20 minutes walk to town centre along the water-front - we enjoyed this walk particularly after a meal in town this but some people might prefer to be nearer to town. Close to the station and the Carciano ferry terminal and cable car station. Alibus from Malpensa airport stop nearby.

This is a well-run and managed bed and breakfast. It's a fair, but pleasant hike into the center of town to the ferries and restaurants. Very close to the train station and you can hear them run in the distance. Being away from town center means it's quiet and you stroll into town burns off the carbs from the delicious pasta and pizzas you'll be eating. Rooms and baths are small in the European style but fine if you plan to be active and not spend a lot of time in your room. Beds were made up and cleaning was done each day and little candies put on bedside table. Nice continental breakfast and a machine to make cafe, cappuccino, hot water for tea, yogurt, several juices on offer as well as cereal, brioches, rolls, cake and fresh fruit. A good value for the money in pricey Stresa.

L'hôtel La Locanda est d'un bon rapport qualité-prix pour les voyageurs à budget moyen, dans un environnement où les hôtels de luxe et palaces dominent. Nous avons choisi une chambre standard au dernier étage (bâtiment cour), simple et spacieuse. Stresa est entre la route du bord de lac et la voie ferrée, si bien que l'on entend les voitures et les trains la nuit (les personnes sensibles peuvent craindre). L'hôtel est dans une jolie petite rue tranquille, à 10 min des bateaux et 15 min du centre-ville. Daniele est vraiment sympathique et serviable. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour en cette période de Covid-19 !

L'accueil est excellent, les chambres sont propres et confortables. L'hôtel est proche du Port de Carciano et du départ du téléphérique pour Mottarone (5 min). Il faut moins de 15 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le centre de Stresa (environ 1 km). Cela permet une petite marche digestive après le restaurant. La principale amélioration qui pourrait être apportée serait d'équiper les fenêtres de moustiquaires, de sorte à pouvoir laisser les fenêtres ouvertes sans laisser rentrer les insectes la nuit. En tout cas, nous retournerons avec plaisir à La Locanda lors d'une prochaine venue à Stresa.

Nous aurions aimé disposer d'une terrasse extérieure, même commune, avec tables, chaises et parasols; l'emplacement du parking, calme et en forme de cour pourrait servir à cet effet!

Bon hôtel, calme, situé près de l'embarcadère pour les iles Borromées et du téléphérique. L'accueil, en francais, est très bon et le petit déjeuner correct. La chambre est assez grande et profite d'un petit balcon. A pieds, le centre ville ou se trouve l'autre embarcadère et les principaux restaurants est un peu loin mais je l'ai fait sans problème.

Schlichtes Haus, das sehr zentral aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen ist. Das freundliche Personal hat über das einfache Frühstück "hinweggetröstet" - und der Preis und die Parkplätze unmittelbar am Haus waren total in Ordnung. Wir kommen bestimmt einmal wieder! Ein dickes DANKE an die Mitarbeiter!

Abbiamo visitato il Lago maggiore in moto e abbiamo soggiornato due notti a Stresa. In questo hotel siamo trovati bene sotto tutti gli aspetti. A circa 10/15 min a piedi dal centro e vicini all imbarcadero per le isole Borromee. Buona accoglienza, camera semplice ma spaziosa e pulita. Ci è piaciuta anche la colazione. Parcheggio interno 5 eu al giorno le auto e 3 eu per le moto.

3 giorni di assoluto relax, in mezzo alla natura e al silenzio, ai fiori e alle piante. vicinissima all'attracco dei traghetti, e al lungolago con cui con una bella passeggiata a piedi si arriva in centro. La struttura è confortevole, pulita, accogliente, piccola così da avere una dimensione famigliare. colazione spettacolare. Consiglio a tutti.

Consigliamo il soggiorno in questo hotel tranquillo, dotato di camere pulite e accoglienti. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la colazione molto buona e abbondante. In 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la piazzetta da cui partono sia i battelli per le isole borromee che la funivia che sale al Mottarone. Grazie ancora a Daniele per il piacevole soggiorno!

L'hotel ha un arredo un po datato ma spazi vivibili e puliti. E' situato in una zona tranquilla di Stresa vicino agli imbarchi per le isole, alla funivia per il Mottarone e alla stazione ferroviaria e dispone di parcheggio interno a pagamento. La colazione è discretamente varia per quanto concerne il dolce ma mancano cibi salati (affettati, uova, formaggi). I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili. Nella prossimità supermercato e ristorante. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Bella struttura in zona tranquilla a pochi passi dal centro e dal l'imbarco lido per le isole e per il mottarone. Stanza silenziosa, arredamento essenziale, bagno con bidè e doccia. C'è anche la possibilità del parcheggio per le macchine. Vicino c'è la partenza per i battelli per le isole e la funivia.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni in questo B&B. posizione strategica sia per i monti che per le isole, vicinissimo al lungolago e a 5 min dal centro. una 10 di minuti. dalla villa Pallavicino. Gestori cordiali, colazione a noi è piaciuta, non manca niente (solo dolce). I complimenti faccio però per la pulizia, una delle poche volte anche essendo in un 2 stelle era tutto Pulito! Lenzuola, asciugamani, bagno. complimenti veramente!È stata una bella scoperta!

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia presso la struttura dal 08 al 13 Agosto 2016, ci siamo trovati bene, a piedi in pochi minuti si raggiunge il centro di Stresa e la zona degli imbarchi per le isole percorrendo la parte del lungolago più bella, comodo il parcheggio auto interno a costo abbordabilissimo, unico neo la vicinanza della ferrovia di contro si raggiunge la stazione ferroviaria a piedi in pochi minuti (comodo per raggiungere Domodossola e fare il tour della Valle Vigezzo che consiglio). In conclusione ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Francesco.

La Locanda è un posto carino, in cui domina la calma, e comodo per muoversi a piedi, in auto o moto e per la sua posizione vicino al lago, alla stazione e al molo di Carciano (sul lido di Stresa). Il molo di Carciano è secondo me più comodo per spostarsi sul lago perché li si trovano: il servizio di navigazione pulico, i motoscafisti e la funivia per Montarone. Il personale della struttura è ok e per essere un due stelle è veramente niente male.

Su un altro sito di opinioni alla sua recensione sono stato clemente e cordiale, ora invece che ho capito chi siete, le dico con tutta franchezza che persone come voi preferiamo perderle che trovarle. Avete lasciato la camera in uno stato pietoso. Il personale freddo e distaccato è semplicemente perché avevamo capito con chi avevamo a che fare! La nostra struttura è ristrutturata e imbiancata ad ogni stagione. Per la questione pulizia lascio la parola ad altre recensioni più veritiere della sua. Siamo contenti di sapere che non vi avremo più come ospiti. Grazie.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura il primo weekend di ottobre in una stanza matrimoniale economy. Siamo stati molto bene. Nonostante fossimo al piano terra e avesse piovuto durante il giorno e tutta la notte non abbiamo avuto problemi di umidità perché i termosifoni erano già accesi. La posizione è ottima. Siamo arrivati dalla stazione dei treni a 6 minuti a piedi. La partenza delle barche per le isole è vicinissima e il centro di Stresa facilmente raggiungibile facendo una passeggiata lungo la riva del lago. I gestori sono stati molto disponibili a dare tutte le informazioni. Molto carina la sala colazioni. Familiare e con soffitto con travi di legno a vista. La camera era economy e dava sul parcheggio. Se gradita maggiore tranquillità ci sono le camere con balcone ai piani superiori.
