Cascina Rosengana

Unfortunately, the bathroom in our room needed a lot of attention (the shower doors were not cleaned; one was broken and did not close properly; the heater was not working). The bed was old and no longer very firm. The room was generally clean and the staff were nice (both at dinner and breakfast). Breakfast did not have many non-dairy options, but again the staff were nice and did what they could to accommodate. Dinner was disappointing for the price, but this may have been due to the holiday.

4 very enjoyable days: the place, the tranquility, the services (kindness of the owners, meals, pool). Delicious homemade ice creams. \nWe had taken half board and dinner was very generous and varied. Very satisfied with our choice!!

At Casa Rosengana everything comes together: a friendly, obliging, attentive host family, the excellent quality of the products (organic from their own farm or regional), the equally excellent kitchen that prepares delicious dishes, and outstanding wines. All coherent and committed to the family's organic farming tradition. In addition, a large beautiful dining room with an open fire and a very pleasant atmosphere, and a room to sleep in that is completely quiet and very nicely designed with wood. A stroke of luck for our short Christmas break in Cocconato and an ideal starting point for hikes, excursions and (in other seasons) bike tours.

As always, everything was perfect! Very friendly hosts who do their utmost to make guests feel well. The food, as always, excellent! We come once or twice a year to Cocconato.

Very noisy due to arrivals throughout the night. The hosts are polite but seem overwhelmed by the property. In the restaurant I find the value for money not appropriate.

We really enjoyed the beautiful accommodation. Very nice room, fine aperitif, great food, Piedmontese atmosphere. It was a shame that we were surprised by the drink prices. 12€ for a draft beer or 5€ for a 5dl water.

Very nice reception, simple but functional rooms, excellent, innovative cuisine (unfortunately after breakfast and lunch we could only eat two appetizers each in the evening), the presentation of the "Carne cruda" is impressive. We will come back!

Everything was fine. Low rating for the cleanliness of the room (bathroom): the shower is full of mold, which can be dangerous. The small internal garden and the exterior of the building could be better cared for. The kitchen and breakfast were good.

Excellent offer in every respect. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay, feeling pampered as if we were at home!

We stayed at Cascina Rosengana after my wedding with all my relatives. Beautiful rooms, very spacious, with everything needed. A wonderful atmosphere. Each room opens onto balconies overlooking the pool and hills. Very clean and with spectacular details. Very fair price. Alessio and his family are exceptional people who put the guest first with care and a smile. Delicious breakfast with their artisanal products. We will definitely return soon.

Kudos to Massimo and Alessio, always impeccable.

Farmhouse in the middle of the Monferrato hills, well maintained and clean. The staff's kindness was top-notch, food is locally sourced, especially cheeses made by them. The pool is unusual; it almost seems natural without chlorine. Homemade ice cream. Breakfast abundant and excellent. A great discovery!

We stayed for 4 days. We were in complete relaxation. Top cleanliness and welcome. I was just not very happy with the breakfast. For those who have a savory breakfast, it's top, for those who, like me, have a sweet breakfast, there is no choice, I saw the same 2 cakes for 4 days. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Wonderful place and friendly, professional staff.

Accommodation chosen for a few days out with the family. Unfortunately, we could not go due to family arrangements. I spoke to the manager on the phone for information. A delightful and helpful person, friendly and cordial. I recommend considering a vacation there; I am sure it will be a wonderful experience. Thank you for all your availability and infinite kindness.

We had dinner and stayed overnight in this beautiful place, my wife and I, for our wedding anniversary, and in the afternoon we enjoyed a great aperitif by the pool. Very welcoming structure, beautifully furnished, the staff and the owners are fantastic people and very attentive to pampering their guests. Everything was fantastic, including dinner and breakfast (top products!). We will definitely return. Well done everyone!

Beautiful place, we had a very good lunch and the guests felt great. I would just suggest maybe putting two bottles of water in the fridge/in the room (even for a fee, if necessary).

Well-maintained structure, very pleasant saltwater pool, excellent cleaning. We had dinner on-site, everything was very good. Managers are helpful and friendly. Recommended.

I only spent one night. The room was cozy and warm, thanks to the wooden paneling. The property is beautiful and in a panoramic and quiet location. I appreciated the abundant and varied breakfast, with local and homemade products. I saw 3 of the managers, very courteous and passionate about their work.

Excellent accommodation in the hills: everything is well-kept and the managers are extremely kind and helpful, definitely worth returning.

Well, what else can I add? If you want to stay and eat very, very well with undeniably high-quality food in a charming environment that exudes history, you must stop in this magical place.

We had a great time. The staff was very kind and the structure was very nice.

…because it is not possible to give more than 10. The owners and the staff are courteous and helpful beyond any rosy expectation.

There are places that go unnoticed. Others like this splendid Cascina Rosengana that are remembered forever. Family management with high-quality products certified by Demeter. The cheeses and wines are produced on site and will be difficult to forget. Impeccable service from Alessio who skillfully takes care of every customer. Incredible atmosphere fueled by a fireplace always lit in winter. It is worth stopping for a night using the entirely wooden rooms and purchasing the company's products in the small shop inside the restaurant.

The structure is fantastic as it appears very rustic. The managers are very nice and knowledgeable about wine. I find it very original that almost everything that can be eaten is made by Cascina Rosengana itself: from cheese to meat. The rooms are wonderful, of medium size, but the rustic style and wood make a great impression.

We spent a wonderful weekend with family. The place is beautiful, the food is excellent. We visited even more renowned restaurants, but the place where we ate the best by far is Cascina Rosengana with genuine products and an excellent quality-price ratio. The truffle dishes are special, as well as everything else starting from breakfast. The guys who manage the structure are very kind and their dad is lovely. The rooms are spacious, my son did not want to go home anymore. The only downside is that it is just a bit on the road. Maybe behind there was a lawn accessible for children that I did not see, so I do not know how it is in summer. The area with the pool is certainly nice, we will return in another season.

For years we have been coming to Cascina Rosengana and we always return with great pleasure.

Adequate structure. The breakfast is good. The catering is average. With regret, I must say that paying for herbal teas and paying for a not good bottle of wine 45 Euros did not please us.

Beautiful rooms, entirely clad in elm wood, very clean and spacious. Breakfast with various products of their production. The location is fantastic, an ancient farmhouse recently renovated with great care in enhancing particular characteristics of the old building. Original terracotta floors and ceiling with exposed beams. The restaurant hall is beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to try their cuisine due to lack of time. But that will be the next step. Since we will definitely return.

Everything is "great". We ended up almost by chance looking for a place to sleep and eat well in Monferrato. I would say both wishes were fulfilled. Excellent quality-price ratio, there is also a swimming pool. We stayed for dinner in the evening, everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

The structure is beautiful and the management is perfect. This is the fourth consecutive year that we stay and dine there for the Bagna Cauda Day. Alessio and his family are phenomenal! Thank you very much for everything from my whole tribe, including the Tuscans.

We stayed for a few days as a couple and we really enjoyed it, the structure is located 2 kilometers from the center of Cocconato, amidst hills and vineyards typical of the area. Very quiet place for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday, excellent food not to mention the wine, the owners of the farmhouse are kind and knowledgeable in giving advice on food and wine. Prices are reasonable, recommended.

Delightful structure, super helpful staff, excellent restaurant especially for the quality of food and wine.

The only negative points are the broken air conditioning, which was known since August 15th and we booked on the 20th without anyone reporting it. Also, there is a lack of covered parking for motorcycles and the low brightness of the room, especially the loft area.

The Cascina Rosengana is well restored, with a spacious and well-kept room. The bathroom is spacious and the saltwater pool is beautiful. The breakfast is excellent, with products from the farm. Massimo, the host, is very attentive and friendly. We had a great family experience and will return as soon as possible.

The property has great potential that is not fully utilized. Unfortunately, during our stay, we suffered from the night heat even though we had access to the air conditioner/fan provided, to the point that we had to sleep with the window open. The pool area definitely needs to be reviewed and improved. Too many insects, not the cleanest pool and no umbrellas to shield from the sun if needed. A sore point is the menu and the lack of clarity on what the half board includes. The tasting menu and the à la carte menu are very limited and change weekly starting from Monday, so if you decide to dine there for several days it's a problem because you eat the same things. I recommend adding more vegetarian dishes for those who don't particularly enjoy meat. The strong point of the property is definitely the owners who treated us with great kindness and courtesy.

Good morning, unfortunately the external areas of the pool and the rooms are neglected. The ground is dry, the plants are dry, there are leaves everywhere and the chairs and furniture need to be repainted. There are objects scattered around and the pool needs cleaning. It's a shame because, with a little effort, it would be a very nice corner. Even the terrace upstairs is neglected. They give importance to the restaurant, the food is good but a bit expensive and the wait for the dishes is long. However, the rooms are nice.

Everything was very good. Dinner was excellent. The breakfast on the first day had little variety, but the other breakfasts were very good. Perhaps it is possible to make the grass in the garden grow a little faster to make it even more pleasant. The pool was relaxing. Thank you for the stay.

Farmhouse located a short walk from the village of Cocconato in a panoramic position. Rooms are really beautiful and welcoming, ours all in wood with a spacious and bright loft, also with a small kitchenette. Restaurant of excellent quality with à la carte menu or tasting menu. Typical dishes of the tradition cooked excellently. Wide selection of wines with prestigious labels. Excellent included breakfast with homemade products like butter, yogurt, and really quality bread. Owners very kind and helpful... a thank you to Alessio and Mr. Massimo. I absolutely recommend it.

We were there for only one night and we had a great time. The place, the staff, the room, and the breakfast were excellent! If we had to say something, our only comment would be about dinner which, despite being in a nice place and served by friendly staff, did not reach the same level as the other services offered. In the sense that it was good but it was nothing special.

The interior of the property is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the atmosphere is warm. There is room for improvement outside, there are too many bulky items (boxes, randomly placed chairs, etc.). At the entrance, there is a nice spot to have a drink, but even there it's a bit chaotic. The pool is very nice and relaxing. Massimo is very kind, but perhaps he could use some extra help. All in all, I would recommend it.

Wonderful structure, spacious and extremely clean rooms in front of the small pool. Very good breakfast with local products. We stopped for lunch and it's really worth it, I recommend trying the extraordinary fior di latte ice cream, the best we have ever eaten. I add the extreme courtesy and professionalism of the owners and their collaborators who made us feel really comfortable.

A gem in Monferrato. Quiet, relax, quality and 0 km! Special wines, 0 km food of excellent quality, intimate environment, very helpful staff, well-kept kitchen, very pleasant pool area in the shade in the garden. The rooms are beautiful, in wood and equipped with the most useful comforts (air conditioning, kitchen, fridge, TV, and soaps for personal hygiene). The silence and the climate are golden to escape from the chaotic routine.

Beautiful location, very charming and detailed rooms, spectacular bathroom kit from comb to razor, pool with few pretensions. In the rooms there is a lack of a mat for exiting the shower... if we really want to look for the needle in the haystack.

Exquisite food, beautiful and clean rooms, kind and qualified staff. We spent a day in complete relaxation. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend the massage service that the structure offers, Alessandro is really excellent, you can go to him in the town center or with a very small surcharge he comes directly to the room to do one of his magnificent massages.

Ideal structure to spend a weekend in complete relaxation! Very charming. The rooms with loft all lined in wood are special! Recently a small pool with a solarium has also been made, much appreciated! There is the possibility to eat genuine food all produced by the structure itself, including wines and grappas. Excellent value for money. Kindness and friendliness of the family managing the structure complete everything! I recommend it to anyone who appreciates a simple place where nothing is missing inside! I will definitely return.

We stayed for two weeks, everything was perfect, very kind and always available, excellent food and locally sourced, located a stone's throw from Cocconato, a beautiful village on the hills of Monferrato, with bars and restaurants, close to the beautiful city of Asti, and a few more kilometers into the fantastic lands of Barolo. I truly recommend it to everyone, whether you're looking for relaxation, a culinary vacation, or walks on foot or by e-bike. We will definitely come back next year.
