Breakfast is served in the park, during beautiful days, in shaded corners, surrounded by seasonal blooms and cheered by birdsong. Breakfast is served exclusively with fresh ground coffee produced with the typical Italian coffee maker "Bialetti"; This means having enough time for good coffee to enjoy in the park and not having a hurry. Also always included in the price Raffaelo served at your table orange juice, packaged and homemade jam with peaches, plums or raspberries, biscuits or cakes, plate with cold cuts and cheese, fresh fruit salad.

Staying at B&B Villa Margherita was a wonderful experience. This is mainly due to our host Raffael who overcame the language barrier and made a wonderful connection based on his human pleasantness. The villa and garden has a historic quality. I hope that Raffael will continue maintaining this wonderful place.

Excellent two-night stay at B&B Villa Margherita. Lovely old house with a beautiful garden. Very comfortable room, although the floors and bed were very squeaky. Good breakfast. Two excellent restaurants (a pizzeria and a fish restaurant) a few minutes' walk away. Raffaello was an excellent host. Overall a fantastic B&B - I would recommend it very highly.

Very charming villa with its own character. You feel a bit like being taken out of time- you can definitely leave haste and everyday life behind and enjoy the absolute peace in the enchanting garden and let your soul unwind. Raffaelo, the host, is very attentive and is happy to give tips for excursions.

Villa with charm, very quiet, just a few minutes from the beach, very good location for excursions, ferry stops in Lesa and Belgirate are easily reachable on foot (very nice path above the lake to Belgirate, about 20 minutes). Breakfast in the beautiful garden between lemon trees and rhododendrons is particularly nice, the host Raffaelo serves fruit, cucumbers, and tomatoes from his own garden, is very accommodating and helpful, gives very good tips for activities and more. Lesa is a pretty quiet place with good restaurants along the lakeside promenade.

We made the trip for our golden wedding anniversary. We were warmly welcomed by Alfredo. He had organized everything wonderfully, so we had a very nice day. The B&B Villa Margherita impressed us a lot, it has a very special atmosphere. Alfredo and his brother with their wives are very kind people, who are rarely found today. Since we were the only guests during the Corona time, we were able to have a relaxing holiday even in this special time. We can only recommend the house. We thank you once again for the wonderful week we were allowed to spend at the Villa. Thank you Alfredo.

Enchanted villa, with a beautiful garden where breakfast is served when the weather is nice. Raffaelo, the owner, serves the best coffee and the fruits from the orchard come from his own garden. The house has the perfect location just a few steps from the small beach and close to the good restaurants of the beautiful village of Lesa. B&B Villa Margherita is a fairytale castle and offers absolute relaxation.

The Villa Margherita is a gem away from the tourist hustle and bustle in the small typical Italian town of Lesa, not far from the small public beach on Lake Maggiore. Particularly charming is the breakfast in the romantic garden, lovingly cared for by Rafael. He gave us many tips for hikes in the impressive hinterland of Mottarone and towards Lake Orta, and organized a truly romantic dinner on Isola dei Pescatori with a nocturnal tour on the lake. He had a lot to tell about his historic family home (in German). If you're looking for something special, you're in the right place here. Thank you very much, dear Rafael.

A delicious nest, for connoisseurs. After a three-night stay, after very pleasant visits to the surroundings (Lake Maggiore, Piedmont shore), and especially after the visit to the sumptuous Borromean Islands, we have convincingly bestowed upon Raffaello the title of Grand Duke of Villa Margherita.

Lovely villa in the park, away from the street and traffic noise! It feels enchanted to find all the charm of the early twentieth century residence. Our room had a beautiful terrace, too bad we were in winter otherwise we would have spent the evening drinking and relaxing. The interior is furnished with really antique furniture. Beautiful ceramic tiles in the fireplace lounge. Raffaelo was really kind and helpful in giving us directions on what to visit in winter. Too bad the major attractions of Lake Maggiore are closed until next spring! We recommend dinner at Isola dei Pescatori with a boat made available by the restaurant owner recommended by Raffaelo. Really romantic.

I spent two fabulous days on Lake Maggiore with my mother in this ancient villa. I found a refreshing break during the scorching days of late August in the park where it is very pleasant to have breakfast and spend some afternoon hours. There are no air conditioners in this villa, which is a good thing. Before leaving, my mother had some doubts, and instead, we were amazed at how the thick walls of the structure and the shaded park favor an ideal temperature in the house environment. The room with a terrace is really beautiful, and the recently renovated bathroom is clean. The location is convenient, very close to the quiet public beach and away from the coastal road. I recommend at least once taking the bus to Verbania, so you will have more opportunities to admire the landscape. But the cherry on top was dinner on the island of fishermen at Maria Pia's restaurant "La Peschiera", recommended by the B&B owner Raffaelo. I will come back again.
