Our host Simona spoiled us throughout our stay thanks to her welcome, her efficiency regarding hiking or walking tips, her knowledge of the Formazza valley, her truly delicious breakfasts, the very good upkeep of her beautiful house. The small hamlet of Chiesa is charming.

Exceptional in every way. A dream place. Nothing to complain about. Simona along with her husband and children of exemplary kindness. Thank you to them for this stay.

A wonderful accommodation and a wonderful hostess - Thank you, Simona, for the advice, hospitality, and the great breakfast with homemade delicacies (finally not a breakfast buffet!). Nearby, there are fantastic hiking trails and family restaurants, Simona knows half of the valley and can give excellent tips!

The stay at Simona's place was wonderful. The quadruple room is beautifully furnished and the bathroom is top modern. In addition to towels, hygiene products, and a kettle with tea, there was also a TV. However, we didn't use it because we preferred to enjoy the beautiful garden. Simona took exceptionally good care of us. The contact via Whatsapp went smoothly and she even drove us to a restaurant for dinner. Our highlight was the breakfast: rich, delicious, and with homemade products. Thank you very much!

A really welcoming place, the owner is a pleasant and helpful person.

We stayed for two nights in this structure and although we are not used to reviewing, for Simona we make an exception: everything was top-notch, from the attentive but always discreet welcome to the simply wonderful structure and the incredibly curated breakfast. The environment is sober but elegant, and the renovation, tasteful yet strictly respectful of traditions, is thanks to the owners, true artists because, paraphrasing Saint Francis, those who work with their hands are workers, those who work with their hands and with their minds are artisans, but those who work with their hands, minds, and hearts are artists. Absolutely not to be missed: unique! Thank you for this slice of happiness that you have given us.

I read the previous reviews and to be brief, I add that I agree on everything positively. Someone gave nine for the location, I preferred a ten because I love tranquility and little confusion. Moreover, with about 30 minutes of a splendid walk along a stream surrounded by beautiful scenery (on a paved road reserved for pedestrians and cyclists) you can reach the village in no more than three minutes by car.

Historic structure from 1609, enchanting and well preserved, in the heart of Val Formazza, in a tiny village a stone's throw from the river. Clean and meticulously cared for room, equipped with a kettle and courtesy herbal teas. The breakfast was excellent and abundant, composed of local products and cakes made by the lady, truly delicious. As for the welcome, what can I say, it was exceptional. We really felt pampered! Much appreciated their willingness to meet our requests, and their friendliness.

Two days of real relaxation at B&B Hirsch 1609, equipped with every comfort and meticulously detailed. Simona, a very kind and helpful host. Super breakfast with homemade cakes and jams and excellent local products. We will definitely be back!

In Val Formazza, there is a very special and well-kept B&B, quiet and without noises. Family treatment. The breakfast is splendid, with local products made by the owner herself, including the honey.

Fantastic experience. A beautiful Walser house in a small hamlet in Val Formazza is what made our vacation beyond expectations. Simona is the best. Friendly, down-to-earth, super helpful, and with golden hands: every morning, for breakfast, you will be pampered with her delicacies. From the eggs of her hens to the honey from her bees, passing through homemade jams, brioches, plum cakes, and cakes: everything made by them is exceptional as well as the proposals of ricotta, cheeses, and cold cuts. The room is very cozy and clean: there is everything you need and more. Highly recommended to all those looking for a place to relax, sleep well, from where to start trekking and a short distance from the most suggestive points of Val Formazza. Congratulations Simona!

A place of peace, truly a stress-free stay, in a wooden room of an ancient Walser house (over 400 years of history!). The owner and her family are people of great friendliness, education, availability, and generosity. The cleanliness is perfect, nothing is missing. The breakfasts are special: every day Simona prepares homemade sweets with her hands with taste and imagination, as well as local typical products. We had a great time!

We stayed in a room for 4 people very well cared for in the furnishings in classic Alpine style in a beautiful Walser building very well renovated. Wonderful welcome from the two owners, almost like being with family! Abundant, excellent and well assorted breakfast with local products and homemade desserts and plentiful! It will be included in the list of favorite B&Bs.

Attention to detail. Breathtaking view. Excellent style for the room, clean, elegant, tidy. The owner is kind and helpful. Close to the Toce waterfall, the mountains, the thermal baths, and various restaurants. Enchanting place.

Simona is available for any needs, she is affable and discreet. Pleasant and restful stay (no noise).

We recommend this property. The welcome and attentions of Simona to the guests are warm, the room is clean and warm (wooden environment), there is everything even a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, and the scenery is spectacular. The price is appropriate to the quality offered. Abundant breakfasts with homemade and mountain products. 5 stars!

Excellent structure, the friendliness and cordiality of the hostess are unparalleled. The spacious and clean room combined with the excellent breakfast of homemade cakes and jams make you start the day well. I recommend it.

The managers are nice and helpful people, the breakfast is excellent, genuine and plentiful, the town is beautiful in a valley dominated by waterfalls, meadows of lush green and wonderful woods. Also worth visiting are the surroundings, Baceno and Crampiolo.

Simona welcomed us with utmost kindness and availability. Impeccable room. Breakfast fit for a king. What more could you want? I highly recommend.
