I cannot imagine a more perfect stay! We arrived mid-morning and Fausta immediately welcomed us into her beautiful Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison. Throughout the house all details have been carefully restored with heavy wooden doors, polished tile floors, and ceilings still retaining their original frescoes. Our room was bright and airy, but also extremely cozy with great central heating which warmed us up on a rather rainy day. We were offered tea in the charming kitchen with its stone sink and dainty pastel cups and saucers giving us just what we needed to begin our explorations. Equipped with excellent recommendations for lunch we stepped outside already feeling very much part of this special Italian town. The Basilica and Santa Casa are just one block down the charming winding street. We spent the afternoon wandering the town walls with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding countryside. In the evening we returned to find snacks and a hot water kettle all set up for us and in the morning the breakfast was beyond expectations with yogurt, fruit, brioche fresh from the bakery and a home baked lattice top pie. Fausta even made certain dietary allergies were accommodated and further ensured we reached our early morning train. My final photo from Loreto is a view of the top of the Basilica tower against the morning sky. Fausta is an amazing host who, as we learned, comes from a family of hoteliers. She truly loves taking exceptional care of her guests. If we ever return to Loreto or the seaside we will definitely stay at B&B Antica Maison.

Sorry Fausta for the late review. I thought I had already done it but couldn't find it here. This is our first trip to Loreto and fortunately we stayed at Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison. We haven't met any host who went the extra mile to make sure you are okay and that you have a good time. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We booked the Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison on a side trip from Assisi to visit the Santa Casa. Our hostess, Fausta, was delightful and could not have been more accommodating and hospitable. Our room was lovely with a nice view of part of the town and the Adriatic. The shrine of the Santa Casa was literally only steps away. The breakfast was delicious and abundant!

We cannot be more pleased with Fausta and her Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison. My wife and I were on a two-person pilgrimage to Italy's holy sites, including Mary's house in Loreto. Fausta went far beyond being a gracious proprietor. She ensured we arrived in time for the last mass on Sunday, provided a delicious breakfast, including many mouthwatering home-baked (by Fausta) pastries, good dinner recommendations, clean rooms, and, most important, being truly warm and caring. This was our first trip to Italy. We are very grateful to her for her kindness and understanding for two clueless pilgrims.

I rate Antica Maison Bed and Breakfast the highest possible because they deserve it! This is our third trip to Loreto always staying at a different Inn but we will always come back to Antica Maison. Fausta the Innkeeper was so kind and helpful. Our room was lovely with a big canopy bed and two sunny windows with a cross breeze. It was immaculately clean with fresh crisp sheets and towels daily. The breakfast was lovely with a different homemade cake or fruit tart each day along with homemade ham/cheese calzone, cereal, yogurt, fruit other baked items and cappuccino. We came to Loreto to adore our Lord and His Blessed Mother and her Holy House but were so charmed with our accommodations and Fausta at Antica Maison B&B. We highly recommend staying here.

What a pleasure it was to stay at Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison in Loreto recently. This truly is Italy’s best B&B in terms of location, price, amenities and most importantly, the warmth and hospitality of its hosts. Fausta and Livio were generous with their time, picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, recommending restaurants and places to visit and plying us with a bountiful breakfast and home cooked cakes. Our room was huge, warm, regally dressed, well-lit and came with many thoughtful touches such as chocolates, water and a stack of cultural books and pamphlets. The bathroom was small, but very clean and filled with toiletries, a hairdryer and an abundance of soft towels. We’d never been to Loreto before, but quickly came to appreciate its charms, even at the end of winter. Apart from the majestic basilica, worthwhile palazzo apostolico museum and beautiful piazza and streets, it is also an excellent base for country walks or touring Le Marche by car/train. It’s impossible in a short review to convey all the reasons why Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison is beloved by those lucky enough to stay there, you really need to plan a visit yourself. We can’t wait to return.

This is the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Fausta and Livio, were the kindest, friendliest, and most helpful people. They exceeded all expectations with their willingness to ensure we had the most wonderful week's holiday, even driving us to places we wanted to visit. The breakfasts were mouthwatering. Fausta's homemade cakes especially so. We would highly recommend Antica Maison to anyone looking for a place to stay in Loreto. We will definitely return. Missing it already.

We enjoyed our stay in this Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison very much. Fausta and her husband made us very welcome and were very helpful with car parking and giving us food to take with us when we left. It is in a great location and the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast and fresh figs were delicious.

My wife and I stayed from 3rd to 5th August in this Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison, centrally located and optimal for those who want to stay and visit Loreto. Beautiful room and bathroom, very clean, well furnished and equipped with everything essential for a Bed and Breakfast, including air conditioning, which with the heat of this summer was no small matter. We were greeted very well by the owner, Mrs. Fausta, who runs the Bed and Breakfast with great love and passion. Excellent, abundant and varied breakfast, personally served by the lady and "filled" with personally made and delicious sweets! Highly recommended.

The Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison is stunning, located in the historic center of Loreto! My partner and I stayed there for 2 nights in the Rubino room, very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the smallest detail. The Bed and Breakfast is in a great location to explore the area (Recanati, Porto Recanati), reachable in 10/15 minutes. The owner, Mrs. Fausta, is very kind and helpful with every request, even by phone. She recommended several restaurants where to eat homemade dishes (just a shame we didn't find a place at Trattoria Norma). The breakfast is plentiful, served in the breakfast room decorated with care and taste. We had a really good time and will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a week in the sapphire room. Beautiful room (feels just like being at home), ancient but at the same time with all the necessary comforts (luggage rack, linen, towels). Mrs. Fausta is the added value of this property: always available, even by phone. Every morning she prepared a superb breakfast, with cappuccino, fruit juices, brioches, homemade cakes, savory calzones, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread and jams, a real delight! Fausta always advised us on where to go for dinner or what to visit during the day, a true host in every way. The room was cleaned every day, with a change of linen and towels after 3 days from our arrival. We always found bottles of water and candies available. A real treat. Highly recommended this place, a little gem just a stone's throw from the main basilica of the Madonna of Loreto and an excellent starting point to visit the Marche region.

We stopped only for one night before embarking on the journey to Puglia. The kindness, courtesy, and help received from the owner (with me was my 85-year-old mother who had asked if we could stop in Loreto to see the Madonna again) made it pleasant even those few hours of rest and harmony, and thus continue the journey with my little old lady. The structure is located in the historic center, in an ancient palace, with a convenient free parking (Saturday and Sunday all day) just a few minutes walk away. The large rooms with high ceilings are tastefully furnished and convey a familiar warmth. The kindness and attention of the owners is extraordinary and fully appreciated while enjoying a rich, varied and high quality breakfast. It's a pity that there are only three rooms because you might risk not finding a place!

How to feel at home but treated like kings! Intrigued by the beautiful and suggestive photos of the property and looking for an accommodation for one night very close to the Basilica of Loreto, we found actually more than what was described. The first thing is the extreme kindness and availability of the hosts who went out of their way to inform us, welcome us, and advise us in a very efficient and discreet way. Property with an ancient flavor and charm, original, restored and excellently furnished. Comfortable bed, spectacular pillows. Bathroom in all rooms very comfortable and functional. Finally, superb breakfast: exceptional homemade jam cake, sweet and savory brioches, yogurt, all kinds of drinks and also gluten-free food available. Excellent price. I went to Loreto with my elderly parents and with slight mobility problems. The location is great. The cleanliness is excellent and the overall structure layout is excellent. The hospitality from the managers is excellent. The breakfast is super abundant and varied. I recommend it and if I return to Loreto I will go back there.

Beautiful and very clean location, equipped with a very recent air conditioning system, actually located a stone's throw from the Sanctuary, super and super abundant breakfast. We received a warm welcome right from the start and, regarding the entire stay, there are no words to describe the atmosphere that Mrs. Fausta and Mr. Livio have managed to create with their friendliness, simplicity, and great competence.

The "little house" finely structured and fragrant presents itself with a family warmth. Speaking of warmth, the adjustable radiators according to the outside temperature kept us warm both day and night. The breakfast is varied and in the company of Mrs. Fausta who provides generous portions. Beautiful house, although it is 3 centuries old, cared for in every detail, very clean and well maintained, a stone's throw from the Santa Casa. Truly familiar welcome, the owner even had the kindness to reserve a parking space for us near the Bed and Breakfast Antica Maison. The Ambra room is beautiful, with a four-poster bed and the possibility of adding two more beds for children. Small bathroom but with the possibility of having every accessory. Hairdryer and courtesy set available, as well as plenty of towels. The breakfast served by Mrs. Fausta was abundant and well prepared, with a mix of sweet and savory; most of the food was homemade. There is a family atmosphere and we will definitely come back.
