Villa Josephine B&B

It was not allowed to turn on the air conditioning when we were out for dinner and northern Italy was suffering under a heatwave. No plug-in allowed for EV.

At first I was a bit hesitant to book,but after the stay I can recommend the accommodation 100%.It is simply wonderful.However,you should not have a problem or even prefer to stay in a quiet area,slightly removed from typical tourist spots like Sirmione.The pictures match reality 100%,except that the dog is no longer there. The place is a peaceful,clean,quiet and idyllic village.From the accommodation to the lake in the village it is not far on foot,you don't need a car.That was our jogging route.We then,when needed,explored the other towns along the lake by car close to the water.A few minutes' walk away there are restaurants and a small supermarket.Apart from one day trip to Verona,we ate in the village every day.These are relatively small great restaurants,not tourist traps.I can highly recommend the restaurant El Patio,because the food was simply super tasty,we always had a spot outside (like in a small wood) even without a reservation. The host couple also live on the property and are very nice and friendly.Before booking I got in touch via WhatsApp and clarified certain questions.I wrote in English,the reply was in Italian,which I then translated with Google.Their English is not very good,but we had no communication problems on site.They gave us tips,especially where I can buy good wine and olive oil.The residential complex is simply great,the room had enough space for the three of us (one adult and two teenagers) with each one medium-sized suitcase and I estimate that even for four people it would not be a problem,especially since we rarely stayed inside.The beds are very comfortable and I slept wonderfully.The pool is simply a dream:4.20 m at the deepest point with a diving board guarantee fun in the water,and since we had the pool practically to ourselves because our rhythm was different from our neighbors.The pool can be used until 8:00 pm,even during siesta time. My son's comment: "I am simply fulfilled!".

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Josephine B&B, the hostess is very welcoming and we lacked nothing. The breakfast was fantastic, as well as the huge pool, which we almost had to ourselves, a dream for the children. Nearby, you can eat very well within walking distance. We had a wonderful time at Villa Josephine B&B and will definitely come back.
