Very nice stay in this apartment. The owners were very nice and helpful, especially Mrs. Cristina. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. I hope we will come back someday. I highly recommend it.

The hostess is lovely, very welcoming and helpful. The view of the lake at breakfast is very pretty. The property is located a very short walk from the town, which has two restaurants (neither are that good — I recommend driving a few minutes to the nearby town or walking 30 minutes), a nice beach, and ferries to Bellagio (one hour) etc. The room was quite tired and felt a bit damp. We would have appreciated a kettle and tea-making facilities in the room (the hostess did leave hot water in a flask in the sitting room). There is no air conditioning or fan (this was fine for us, but might be an issue in the warmer months). Parking is safe and quite easy on the property.

The owner Cristina was so friendly and considerate, and the house has a great lake view with a nice garden, rooms are big, walking distance to the center of the village. It was just perfect. We had a supreme time in her B&B and would want to come back.

We had a very pleasant stay at Le Colombine. The hostess Cristina was very friendly, the room was clean, and she even got up at 5:30 to prepare our breakfast on our day of departure, even though we said it was not necessary. Room is simple but beds are very good, what more do you need? One small point of criticism: during our stay, it was very hot and humid, and air conditioning would have been nice (even if it was a mobile one). She did provide a fan, though, and that helped us through the night. Conclusion: I highly recommend Le Colombine.

Welcome, view, and perfect location.\n\nWe stayed a few days at the B&B during the month of August. We were warmly welcomed by Cristina, who speaks French very well, and was very kind and friendly throughout our stay.\n\nThe location is perfect, we had a car and in a few minutes we could reach Varenna to then take the boat and explore the lake. The beach is only a few meters from the B&B. Abbadia Lariana and the village of Mandello are not very lively, yet we found a lot of charm, tranquility, and good restaurants.\n\nThe view from the B&B, where we have breakfast, is breathtaking over the lake.\n\nThe breakfast is varied, plentiful, and Cristina's cake is very good.\n\nWe were a couple, the room was very good, albeit a bit damp, but it's just a detail. It was very clean, and is cleaned and tidied up every day.\n\nI can only highly recommend this B&B, especially if you are looking for tranquility. We hardly met any tourists in this area of Lake Como. It is very typical and charming.\n\nA big thank you to Cristina for her generosity, care, and kindness.

We were welcomed by Cristina with simplicity and kindness in her family home. We enjoyed a spacious and very clean family room for 4 people with a terrace. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, there are even homemade jam tarts! The house is very well located, just far enough from the lake to enjoy the peace and quiet but with a splendid view that is even more enjoyable during breakfast. In short, a place with an impeccable value for money to visit the lake and its villages during a timeless break.

The lady to whom we reported the strong smell of mold and humidity (we cannot know if it was due to the weather or the structure, but for those with asthma problems it was not ideal); finding partially used hygiene products from Eurospin in the bathroom, in a place that presents itself as beautiful and in a lovely location, left us puzzled, as well as the same cake served for three consecutive days at breakfast. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Regarding the information, we received answers to our questions on how to easily reach Varenna, but no suggestions were given on the attractions to visit in the surroundings. We write this not to raise a dispute, but to highlight that, being Italian guests and not foreigners, we may have slightly different perceptions of the establishments. This feedback aims to be a contribution for further improvements, if suggestions are accepted, for the structure that hosted us. Thank you.

Per quanto riguarda l'odore di muffa, in casa nostra non esiste un solo puntino di muffa e l'umidità dato che piove da mesi sicuramente proviene dall'esterno. Per le insufficienti informazioni le ricordo che al vostro arrivo ho trascorso circa mezz'ora ad aiutarvi a trovare la migliore soluzione per raggiungere Varenna senza difficoltà sia all'andata che per il ritorno. Se vi serviva qualche altra informazione bastava chiedere, noi siamo sempre disponibili. Una risposta è dovuta per chi leggerà la vostra discutibile recensione.

The friendliness and kindness of Mrs. Cristina, the convenient and quiet location, and the breakfast are 3 reasons to recommend Le Colombine. We stayed in a wonderful and very spacious lake-view room, obviously clean. Possibility of parking inside the structure, which is truly charming. Varied and abundant breakfast.

I booked this Bed and Breakfast to spend Easter holidays with my family. The reviews of other guests, I must say, helped me a lot, and the confirmation came upon our arrival at Le Colombine. Mrs. Cristina and Mr. Antonio, truly exquisite, friendly, and professional people, made us feel at home! I found the rooms cozy, decent, and super clean, private bathrooms included. Beautiful, in my opinion, the space reserved for breakfast, a veranda overlooking the lake, and not to be overlooked the possibility of using the adjacent living room to chat and sip a good cup of herbal tea or tea made available by the landlady. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, complete with cakes prepared by Mrs. Cristina. From the structure, you can walk to the lake, where you can stroll and relax on the beach or in the small and charming park. From the pier, also within walking distance, you can, on weekends, take the boat to reach the other small towns around the lake without taking the car.

We stayed at this B&B for a weekend. I would like to congratulate the managers, exceptional people, kind, friendly, affable, and helpful, very good at managing this lovely B&B. We had a really good time. The place is easy to reach and close to the beach. The room and bathroom were very clean. Excellent breakfast. Nothing to complain about. A small, personal suggestion, equip the rooms with air conditioning. Otherwise, really well done and congratulations.

The structure is a beautiful little villa with a lake view veranda where you can enjoy a plentiful and delicious breakfast. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated, the bathroom is spacious and bright. There is also a nice garden.\n\nOnly drawbacks: it does not have free parking nearby and there are not many restaurants within easy walking distance.

Grazie per la recensione e sono contenta vi siate trovati bene. Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio c'era posto nella nostra proprietà ma vi siete presentati a piedi dicendo che avevate già parcheggiato gratuitamente a 10 minuti a piedi. Per i ristoranti, sono d'accordo che non sono fuori casa, ma il Ristorante " Il Vicolo " ad esempio è a soli 10 minuti a piedi e gli altri poco più in là e raggiungibili facendo una bella passeggiata sul lungolago.
