Our B& B is located at Bergamo art city, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in a location with a spectacular view, in the old city centre. "L'Angolo Del Poeta" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, unique, distinctive style.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to for shopping, taste the typical local products thanks to the food and wine tours, explore cultural events and exhibitions, wander amid the scents and sounds of the area's many gardens.

My extended family, friends, my son, my granddaughter and I traveled to Italy for my daughter's wedding. Our lodging was very important. This B&B was recommended by the happy couple. Their choice could not have been better. Our host was kind, informative, friendly and helpful. Each room in the hotel was clean, unique and comfortable. My sister and I had adjoining rooms that shared a small balcony which was enjoyed by the rest of the family and friends throughout our 4- and 5-day stays. Champagne and wine were in each room for our enjoyment at very reasonable prices. In addition, the lodging was within walking distance of beautiful parks, a quirky Impossible Museum and a fresh fruit market. You will not be disappointed. The owner Paolo has access to a private garage which you can use at a reasonable cost. We all loved everything about this wonderful place and give it a solid 10.

Good, peaceful location, about a 1km walk from the train station. Charming building. Good breakfast, though would have appreciated something fresh veggies, too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay again!

Spacious room (quadruple) in beautiful historic building. Perfect for our family of 4. Great location for exploring Bergamo. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good but not memorable.

A beautiful place, designed specially, very spacious, good bed, a wonderful stream beneath the window, but the heating didn't work and I became ill and the owner didn't mind telling jokes and stories about regulations.

Thank you to Elena and all the staff at L'Angolo del Poeta for making our stay in Bergamo so pleasant. The building is truly historical and the rooms were warm, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast room was lovely and the service excellent. We will recommend your guesthouse to everyone!

Nicely preserved historic building with a quiet inner patio and all reasonably located from every "must" of the city, even on foot. Couples and small family and friends groups might appreciate it. Delicious traditional fish restaurant in the next building, and a small but abundant farmers market on the square another couple of meters. Enjoy it.

Perfect location and a charming house. The owners were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and had both a refrigerator and a water heater. The breakfast was rich and very tasty. We would recommend this b&b and would love to come back.

The hosts are great, very welcoming, but there are some problems with the room we were in. There was quite a lot of mould in the shower and the area around the toilet smelled like urine. The tiles in the bathroom needed to be cleaned as they were dirty. The room was on two floors, with the living room below and the bedroom on the top floor. While the noise in the living room was pretty normal for a city, the noise in the bedroom was extreme. It was like being on a motorway. It seems like the noise of cars on the cobbled streets jumped to that floor. They need much better windows on the floor to make the room comfortable. If you choose this property, try to avoid rooms at the front. One minor irritation: the owners weren't there when we arrived and left us a standard note saying that breakfast cost extra, so we went out for breakfast. Later they told us that it was a mistake and we had breakfast included in the price, but they did not offer to reimburse us. So overall, lovely people, interesting property but they need to improve the cleaning and sort out the noise if they want higher scores.

Very quaint and tidy. We had difficulty with our cellular data but thanks to Carlotta all was well. Our room was very unique, pristinely clean. For other guests there is no elevator. Not a problem for us.

I am sorry that I don't recall the owner or his assistant's name because they were both exceptionally warm, welcoming, helpful and they both had a great sense of humor! Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The building is old and has its charms... as well as challenges. (We're in our 70's so carrying suitcases up and down stairs was challenging... and ultimately we asked for help.) The location, as noted by others, is convenient to the train station as well as the Alta Città (where we highly recommend a food tour) as long as you're a good walker.

We arrived at this Bed & Breakfast unexpectedly, after our original hotel choice couldn't accept us, and we had a great time there. The B&B is in the main Piazza, it was lovely, clean, very large and spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

A small romantic hotel. The room was exactly to my liking, with antique furnishings, very comfortable, nice bathroom and the walls were beautifully brown, plastered in the way I had done in my reading room, I would even say in the same shade. The room was also clean, and the cleaning lady was very nice and positive, always with a smile on her face. I like to sleep with the window open, which I was able to do, even though my window faced directly onto the street I heard nothing at night. Quiet location yet in the center. In my view, everything is within walking distance, ideal for me as I prefer not to use a car on vacation. And the best at the end, the owner. A very kind, loving and charming woman, you can immediately tell that she enjoys what she does, you feel it right away. For this reason, everyone will feel very comfortable. I will definitely come back. Best regards. P.S. Also the owner, whom I had the chance to meet by chance, was very kind and charming.

The structure is nice, it feels like entering a world separated from the rest of the city. The room is clean and comfortable. You access the rooms via the stairs and I do not think there is an elevator, but for us it was not a problem. It is about 1.5 kilometers on foot from the Upper Town, but the route is very comfortable and in several places it is a pedestrian area.

Very beautiful and peculiar structure, with high-quality finishes. Excellent cleanliness, comfortable room. Parking available in nearby streets with blue lines or time disc. Unfortunately, my room faced the main road so it was really very noisy, I recommend requesting rooms facing the inner courtyard. City center and funicular to Bergamo Alta reachable on foot in 15'.
