Our B&B is placed in a lovely mountain area, in an area known for its spa waters and facilities (Terme di Tartavalle), rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the old city centre. "Bed And Breakfast La Cà Di Sala" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a lovely, refined building, a building of the past brought into the present with unique touches guaranteeing top comfort.

We serve tasty, traditional local products such as jam, butter, sweet croissants, biscuits, cereal, coffee, cappuccino, tea, honey, cake, fruit juice and yogurt. Most of the products we serve are grown organically in the valley. Personalised breakfasts will be prepared on request.

The house is very beautiful with very good taste. We slept extremely comfortably in the bed, everything is very clean and welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing. The host makes you feel like coming home to your Italian family. We would love to come back!

Warm and welcoming, Ca' di Sala offers a serene stay, full of all comforts. Extraordinary is the excellent "hostess", dear Mrs. Gerlanda, who literally knows how to pamper her guests! We thank her from the heart for everything! We had a great time, especially thanks to the delicious walnut cake!

The B&B is beautiful, the room we were in is delightful. It also has a small living area with a sofa and a fireplace. The furnishings are very well-kept and the cleanliness is perfect. The breakfast is plentiful, both sweet and savory. Mrs. Gerlanda is very kind and friendly. We greatly appreciated that during breakfast she conversed with us as if we were family.

Staying in this place is like treating yourself to an escape from the world and living for a moment in a timeless and happy place. Mrs. Gerlanda, the owner, opens the doors for you in a little gem where feeling pampered is a moment. I loved the furniture and the taste "of the past". Abundant and well-crafted breakfast with local delicacies. Gerlanda's jams are also a good reason to come back. I recommend it!

Gerlanda is truly the soul of the B&B La Cà di Sala: her stories have colored our stay; a sunny and lively woman, practical and concrete, she has given us many smiles. Communicating with her has been simple and effective: she responds promptly in chat and via WhatsApp; she offers useful advice on activities to enjoy in the surroundings (we stopped at the "Giant Bench" of the Giumello alp to enjoy a spectacular view); she shares funny anecdotes while preparing the morning coffee. The breakfast is varied: from cheese with salami, to the walnut cake; from the fluffy brioches to the typical "Caviadini" biscuits; noteworthy are the homemade jams, produced from fruits grown by the owner: apples, ginger, and cinnamon was my favorite! The house is special: it combines antique details like wooden doors with latches with the practicality of a modern B&B equipped with all comforts. The night was spent in a very pleasant quietness. The public parking is large and a few tens of meters away from the entrance; there you can find an ATM and a pharmacy. For those who love to travel by car and want to explore: from Margno you can continue up the mountain; after crossing the woods, you can see the azure of Lake Como and, in a short time, you have the opportunity to reach its shores (Dervio location). Colors are truly the "fil rouge" of this journey: from the pastel tones of the "Raspberry" room to the vibrant shades of the Trompe l'oeil painted by Gerlanda; from the candid white of the birches to the bright white of the snow.

The strength of this B&B is the homely atmosphere it makes you experience. Gerlanda is an exceptional host, welcoming you with warmth and enthusiasm, always making you feel comfortable. The property, housed in an ancient 15th-century villa, offers rooms in a rustic style, very warm and welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. Breakfast is another highlight: every morning a triumph of homemade pies, jams, local cold cuts, and so much more. In short, if you want to enjoy the beauties of Val Sassina, B&B La Cà di Sala is certainly a great start.

The structure is completely renovated maintaining characteristic features of what it was before. The location is ideal for any type of holiday idea. Very nice structure with specific local furnishings that offer a warm and relaxing atmosphere like home, located in the center of the village and very close to the cable car. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh products and some homemade items, offered in a lovely kitchen. The manager is very kind, welcoming, and great company! Deserves all 10!

Very beautiful and characteristic structure, well-kept furniture in a clean and welcoming environment. The owners are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and abundant with typical local products or homemade. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night but we felt at home.

We had a great time. A warm and attentive welcome from the hostess, ready to pamper us at breakfast with all kinds of homemade sweets! The well renovated house is very welcoming and clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with a shower and bidet, we stayed in the very beautiful and comfortable Raspberry room, we will definitely come back.

A fabulous place! Gerlanda was exceptionally kind! Upon arrival, you find yourself in the center of the village, so you won't get lost. The trails of the high Valsassina are beautiful, allowing you to venture without getting lost, while enjoying the peace of nature and an exceptional view. And the breakfast: homemade jams and cakes, accompanied by a smile and a nice morning chat. The room is beautiful, tasteful, tidy, and with all the amenities, including the balcony overlooking the square. I will definitely return.

I stayed during the festival of the alpines. The room is very beautiful with wooden furniture, elegant, large wardrobe, nice view from the window. The bathroom is large and brand new with exquisite towel hangers and a large mirror. The sheets are colorful and comfortable like the bed. Care for every detail; from the color of the walls to the curtains. Colorful and comfortable the bathroom linen. The cleanliness is excellent. I believe the above can be attributed to Geralda who works with fervent passion in managing the house, decorating it with the works of an artist. The breakfast is excellent with more foods to taste. It is equivalent to a 4-star rating. Soon I will have to contact her because I will return in 3 weeks.

We stayed only for one night while passing through the area. The B&B La Cà di Sala is on the main street that crosses the village, but it is very quiet. The 'Morà' room is very spacious, quiet and furnished with period furniture with good taste. Mrs. Gerlanda made us feel at ease right away, very helpful with information and maps about the area. The breakfast is truly something exceptional: homemade jams, different types of bread and pastries, and a delicious orange cake. On occasion, we will return gladly. Great trattoria in the area, Bar Trattoria Regina, exceptional for quality/price, quiet during the week but to be booked on weekends.

I stayed with my family, we are five, and with another couple of friends, two plus two, and more than in a B&B it felt like being guests of friends. The house is clean, the breakfast is abundant and the landlady was very welcoming. We will return.

We felt at home. The lady who manages the structure is very kind, friendly, helpful, and, most importantly, an excellent cook: cookies, cakes, and homemade jams. In a well-renovated and clean historic house, three different comfortable and welcoming rooms have been created. We will definitely return.
